Previously, I informed you that sowing in and reaping from a JESUS-centered BUSINESS in Christ in this World involves you being busy for God in Christ passionately, unveiling your specific and unique personality, potentials and life purpose to the World, satisfied that you doing what you designed and created to do, inspiring others to discover and deliver their God-given uniqueness, next-leveling from a mindset of business definition of the World to business definition of the Word of God, expressing God's expectation from your life in Christ in this World, service to God and service to humanity in Christ in this World. Read write-up (6) of this series for more.
The Bible says that:
Be not DECEIVED. God is not MOCKED (fooled). For whatsoever a man (or a woman) SOWS, that shall he (or she) also REAP.
For he (or she) that SOWS to his (or her) FLESH (lustful desire) shall of the FLESH (lustful desire) REAP CORRUPTION (death). But he (or she) that SOWS to the SPIRIT (love of God desire) shall of the SPIRIT (love of God desire) REAP LIFE everlasting.
And let us not be WEARY (tired) in WELL (right and godly) doing. For in DUE SEASON we shall REAP, if we FAINT (give-up) not... (Galatians 6:7-10; James 1:12-15).
For today, I will be informing you about SOWING in and REAPING from a JESUS-centered GOVERNMENT as one of your sacred and sacrificial LIVING in Christ in this World.
GOVERNMENT talks of:
1. A choice authority over a person or a people par time.
2. A compulsory (constitutional) authority over a person or a people par time.
While it is your choice to either be under the spiritual GOVERNMENT (power and authority) of GOD (in Christ) or SATAN, it is compulsory (constitutional) for you to be under the physical GOVERNMENT (power and authority) of your employment organisation or nation.
Therefore, we have the following types of GOVERNMENT (power and authority):
1. GOVERNMENT by choice.
This involves you being under the divine spiritual GOVERNMENT (power and authority) of GOD in Christ or the Demonic spiritual GOVERNMENT (power and authority) of SATAN by choice. That is, choosing between the two, which will influence your mind and live in this World.
Leader Joshua once requested from the Children of Israel thus:
And if it seem evil unto you to SERVE the LORD, CHOOSE you this day whom you will SERVE. Whether the gods (of SATAN) which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood or the gods (of SATAN) of the Amorites, in whose land you dwell. But for ME and MY HOUSE, we will SERVE the LORD.
And the people answered and said, God forbid that we should FORSAKE the LORD, to SERVE other gods (of SATAN). (Joshua 24:15,16; Deuteronomy 30:19,20; Psalm 115).
Therefore, to SOW in and REAP from a JESUS-centered GOVERNMENT in Christ in this World that will please and profit God, your GOVERNMENT relations will have to be:
GOD in Christ first, then other people come next. (Mark 12:28-31).
OBEY as long as it pleases GOD and better humanity for God's glory in Christ. (Acts 5:26-29).
VISION-DRIVEN to see the Kingdom of God in Christ be establish in this World. (Revelation 11:15).
ENLIGHTEN people of the Words, Ways and Wills of GOD in Christ to please GOD in this World. (Philippians 4:8,9).
RIGHTEOUS living at all and any cost, including death. (Romans 12:1,2; Proverbs 14:34; Revelation 2:10).
NEGOTIATION with in peace and in holiness in Christ in this World. (Hebrews 12:14).
MANAGE people and provisions in such a way to deliver your specific and unique life purpose in Christ in this World. (Matthew 6:19-21; 1 Corinthians 4:1,2).
ENCOURAGE godly and reconcile people to God right living in Christ among people. (James 1:22-25; 2 Corinthians 5:17-21).
NURTURE and Call people to GOD in Christ to discover and deliver their specific and unique life purpose in Christ in this World. (Colossians 4:17).
TEAM UP with others to make this World a better place for God's glory than you met it. (John 9:4,5; 1 John 4:17; Matthew 5:13-16; John 17:1-5; 2 Timothy 4:5-8).
To achieve the above statements about sowing in and reaping from a JESUS-centered GOVERNMENT:
You need to know that for the New Testament (covenant) era, GOD has rested His divine spiritual GOVERNMENT (power and authority) on JESUS CHRIST, His only begotten Son, who will one day rule and reign as a divine physical GOVERNMENT (power and authority) on the Earth. Halleluyah!
Therefore, the Bible reveals a prophesy from the Old Testament thus:
For unto us a CHILD (Jesus Christ) is born, unto us a SON (Jesus Christ). And the GOVERNMENT (power and authority) shall be upon His shoulder. And His NAME shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, the Mighty God, Everlasting Father, the Prince of Peace.
Of the INCREASE of His GOVERNMENT (power and authority) and PEACE there shall be no end, upon the THRONE of DAVID and upon His KINGDOM, to order it and to establish it with JUDGMENT and with JUSTICE from henceforth even for ever. The ZEAL of the LORD of host will perform this. (Isaiah 9:6,7).
Therefore, JESUS CHRIST when physically in this World declares thus:
And JESUS came and spoke unto them, saying, ALL POWER is given unto Me in Heaven and in Earth.
Go you therefore and TEACH all nations, BAPTIZING them in the NAME of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Ghost.
TEACHING them to OBSERVE all things whatsoever I have commanded you. And lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the World. Amen.
(Matthew 28:18-20; John 17:1-5; Psalm 62:11; Colossians 3:8-10.
Do you get it?
2. GOVERNMENT by compulsory (constitutional) need.
This involves you compulsorily (constitutionally) be under the influence a physical GOVERNMENT (power and authority) in this World.
This type of GOVERNMENT (power and authority) maybe of:
1. Family GOVERNMENT (power and authority), which involves you to be under the influence of the power and authority of your parents, older siblings or guardians. (Ephesians 6:1-4).
2. Self GOVERNMENT (power and authority), which involves you to be under the influence of the power and authority of yourself.
3. Marital GOVERNMENT (power and authority), which involves you as a married woman to be under the influence of the power and authority of your husband. (Ephesians 5:22-33).
4. Religious GOVERNMENT (power and authority), which involves you to be under the influence of the power and authority of your spiritual leaders abd teachers of the religous gathering you belong to par time.
5. Educational GOVERNMENT (power and authority), which involves you to be under the influence of the power and authority of your school authorities and teachers.
6. Association GOVERNMENT (power and authority), which involves you to be under the influence of the power and authority of the executives of your association, union, club, society, etc you are involve in.
7. Organisational GOVERNMENT (power and authority), which involves you to be under the influence of the power and authority of the leaders of your religious, employment, etc organisations joined.
8. National GOVERNMENT (power and authority), which involves you to be under the influence of the power and authority of the leaders of your country or of your country of residence par time.
9. Others
However, the Bible reveals about divine spiritual GOVERNMENT (power and authority) of GOD in Christ thus:
1. The Earth is the LORD'S and the FULLNESS thereof. The WORLD and THEY (the people) that dwell therein...
(Psalm 24:1-6).
2. For the KINGDOM is the LORD'S. And He is the GOVERNOR among the NATIONS (of the World). (Psalm 22:28).
3. GOD has spoken once. Twice have I heard this. That POWER belongs unto GOD.
Also unto you, O Lord, belongs MERCY. For you renders to EVERY man (and woman) according to his (or her) work. (Psalm 62:11,12).
Therefore, the Bible commands thus:
Let EVERY soul be SUBJECT (humbly submissive) unto the HIGHER POWERS (any physical Government, power and authority, you and I are under par time). For there is no POWER (Governments power and authority but of GOD (permission). The POWERS (Governments, powers and authorities that be are ORDAINED of GOD.
Whosoever therefore RESISTS the POWER (Government, power and authority), RESISTS the ORDINANCE of GOD. And they that RESIST shall receive to themselves damnation...(Romans 13:1-9; 1 Peter 2:13-23).
In the light of the above:
1. You SOW positively, sacredly and sacrificially into the spiritual GOVERNMENT (power and authority) of GOD in Christ by thinking, speaking and LIVING consciously and consistently in all circumstances by the WORD of GOD in Christ in this World with the help of the SPIRIT of GOD within you. (Romans 7:25; Philippians 4:8,9).
If you do, you will REAP positively from GOD in Christ as well. (Galatians 6:7-9).
Note, the opposite is also true. That is, if:
You SOW negatively against the spiritual GOVERNMENT (power and authority) of GOD in Christ by NOT thinking, speaking and LIVING by the WORD of GOD in Christ in this World with the help of the SPIRIT of GOD within you, you will REAP negatively as well. (Galatians 6:7-9; Deuteronomy 28
Likewise,
2. You SOW positively, sacredly and sacrificially into the physical GOVERNMENT (power and authority ordained by God) of any kind, which you are under its power and authority, when you SUBMIT yourself its constitutional provisions and ppolicies.
If you do, you will REAP positively from GOD in Christ and as well from the GOVERNMENT (power and authority) you are under. Yes, you will. (Ephesians 6:5-9).
However, wherever and whenever constitutional provisions and policies of physical GOVERNMENT (power and authority) of any kind breaches the divine constitutional provisions and policies(in the Bible) of the spiritual GOVERNMENT of God in Christ, the latter MUST be upheld and obeyed no matter what, even in death threat.
JESUS CHRIST says that:
...FEAR not them (humans) which KILL the BODY, but are not ABLE to KILL the SOUL. But rather FEAR Him (God) which is ABLE to DESTROY both soul and body in HELL... (Matthew 10:30-39; Revelation 2:10).
For no reason, should a YOU as a genuine CHILD of GOD break or disobey biblically (spiritual) provisions and policies of GOD in Christ in this World, to obey the physical (carnal) provisions and policies of human. Again, not for any reason please.
The Apostles at cross with the physical (constitutional) GOVERNMENT of their days says thus:
And when they had brought them before the COUNCIL. And the high priest asked them,
Saying, did not we (the GOVERNMENT, power and authority) strictly command (warned) you that you should not TEACH in this NAME (Jesus Christ)? And behold, you have filled Jerusalem with your doctrine and intend to bring this man's blood upon us.
Then Peter and the other Apostles answered and said, WE ought to OBEY God rather than men. (Acts 5:26-29).
Do you see tthat?
Why you shouldn't obey HUMAN to disobey GOD for any reason? Because, the consequences are both EARTHLY and ETERNAL. Yes, it is!
The Bible counsels thus:
I call Heaven and Earth to record this day against you, that I have SET before you LIFE (by the Words, Ways and Wills of GOD) and DEATH (by the Words, Ways and Wills of the World driven by SATAN), BLESSING and CURSING. Therefore choose LIFE (by obeying and doing the Words, Ways and Wills of GOD), that both you and your SEED (children) may LIVE.
That you may LOVE the LORD your GOD and that you may OBEY His Voice and that you may CLEAVE unto Him. For He is your LIFE and LENGTH of your days... (Deuteronomy 30:19,20 Deuteronomy 28; Romans 12:1,2).
Now, note also the Devil contend daily to exercise his demonic spiritual GOVERNMENT (power and authority) over you and I, our families, our works, our organizations, ours nations, etc. (1 Peter 5:8-10; Isaiah 14:12-24; Revelation 12:).
So, due to the great influence of the spiritual WORLD of spirit beings over the physical WORLD of human beings (which you and I belong), you and I have to make up our individual mind daily:
1. Which of the spiritual GOVERNMENT (power and authority) of GOD in Christ or Satan will influence our minds and lives in this World daily. Yes! (Joshua 24:15; Deuteronomy 30:19,20).
2. Which of the spiritual GOVERNMENT (power and authority) of GOD in Christ or Satan will you and I SOW in (our time, talents and treasures) in this World daily. (Matthew 6:19-34; Galatians 6:7-10).
3. Which of the spiritual GOVERNMENT (power and authority) of GOD in Christ or Satan will you and I, earthly and eternally REAP from in this World . (Philippians 4:19; Ephesians 1:3,4; Galatians 6:7-10).
The Bible requests and reminds you and I concerning physical GOVERNMENT (power and authority) thus:
I exhort (encourage) therefore, that, FIRST of ALL, supplications, prayers, intercessions and giving of thanks, be made for ALL.
For KINGS (rulers) and for ALL that are in AUTHORITY (Government of any kind). That we may LEAD (live) a quiet and peaceable life on all godliness and honesty.
For this is GOOD and ACCEPTABLE in the sight of GOD our Saviour.
Who will have ALL men (people) to be SAVED and to COME unto the knowledgeable of the truth.
For there is ONE God and ONE mediator between GOD and MEN (human), the man CHRIST JESUS.
Who gave Himself a ransom for ALL, to be testified in due time.
(1 Timothy 2:1-6; James 4:6-10; 2 Corinthians 6:14-18)
So, in everything you do with or within the territory, power or authority of any form of physical GOVERNMENT (power and authority) in this World, let it be JESUS-CENTERED to please GOD instead of man and you will be rewarded by GOD for sacredly and sacrificially staying in His SIDE of GOD, no matter what, in Christ in this World . Yes, you will reap ppositively!
The Bible commands thus:
Whether therefore you eat or drink or WHATSOEVER you DO, do ALL to the GLORY of GOD. (1 Corinthians 10:31; Ephesians 6:1-4, 5-9; Hebrews 11:6; 1 Thessalonians 5:24).
Your SUBMISSION and OBEDIENCE to any physical GOVERNMENT (power and authority), be it self, parental, marital, religious, educational, organisational, national, etc GOVERNMENT ends and stops, where the commandments of the spiritual GOVERNMENT (power and authority) of GOD are breached by physical GOVERNMENT. Yes!
Remember, our GOD, your GOD, will SUPPLY ALL your needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus (and not according to any physical GOVERNMENT riches). Take note! (Philippians 4:19).
So be BOLD to SOW in good and godly things and to STAND for what is right and godly at all times and circumstances, without FEAR and FAVOUR. (Proverbs 28:1; James 4:17).
