The Bible reveals that:
He (JESUS CHRIST) spoke also this parable. A certain man (GOD) had a fig tree planted in his vineyard (the WORLD). And he came and sought fruit thereon and found none.
Then said he unto the dresser of his vineyard, behold, these THREE YEARS I come seeking fruit on this fig tree and find none. CUT it down. Why Cumbers it the ground?
And he answering said unto him, Lord, let it alone this year also, till I shall dig about it and dung it.
And if it BEAR fruit, well. And if not, then after that you shall CUT it down. (Luke 13:6-9; Matthew 13:24-30,36-43; John 15:1-16; Hebrews 5:12-14).
This means that, individually as a genuine CHILD of GOD in Christ, your CHRISTIANITY is useless and unprofitable to GOD, to humanity and to yourself, if after three (3) years of practicing it:
It has not CHANGED the way and manner you THINK in this World. (Romans 12:1;2; Philippians 4:8,9).
It has not CHANGED the way and manner you SPEAK in this World. (James 3).
It has not CHANGED the way and manner you LIVE in this World. (1 John 2:15-17).
It has not CHANGED the way and manner you RELATE in this World. (2 Corinthians 6:14-18).
It has not CHANGED for good any person for GOD in Christ in this World. (John 15:16; 2 Corinthians 5:17-21).
This also means that, collectively as a PEOPLE of GOD, our CHRISTIANITY is useless and unprofitable to GOD, to humanity and to us, if after fifteen (15) years plus of practicing it in this 21st century as the Body of Christ in this World:
It has not CHANGED appreciably the way and manner the World sees us.
It has not RECONCILED appreciably the World back to GOD.
It has not INFLUENCED appreciably the World's governments around us to CHANGE its principles, policies and practices, which are contrary to that of GOD in Christ. (1 Peter 2:9,10; Matthew 5:13-16).
Our Master (JESUS CHRIST)only ministerially spent three and half (3 1/2) years on Earth to get the WORLD on their toes. Likewise, one hundred and twenty (120) of His disciples spent less than three (3) years after their Pentecostal experience to get the WORLD troubled about their INFLUENCE on it. (Book of Acts of the Apostles).
Let us HONESTLY ask ourselves, what kind of CHRISTIANITY are we practicing today in the WORLD?
Let us thoughtful and prayerfully think on this!
Is our individual and collective CHRISTIANITY a useful one or useless one to GOD, humanity and to ourselves?
Because I think something is certainly WRONG with our CHRISTIAN practice of today. Certainly wrong and it troubles me and I know also with our Lord and Saviour, JESUS CHRIST!
We should remember and accept this, that the problem is not from the WISDOM and POWER of GOD, which JESUS CHRIST represents in this WORLD, but always from us. Yes, you and I, who are allowing the World to INFLUENCE us instead of us INFLUENCING the world as divine salts and lights of the World in Christ. (Matthew 5:13-16; 1 Peter 2:9,10;1 Corinthians 1:24).
I personally believe that CHRISTIANITY (individually or collectively) practiced, which cannot impact the World appreciably and profitably like it was in the Bible days is a useless and unprofitable CHRISTIANITY. I don't know of you.
Yes, it my heart-aching personal opinion and Biblical opinion as well I know. (1 John 4:17).
Again, I ask you, which are you practicing, Useful or Useless CHRISTIANITY?
What CHANGE or positive and profitable INFLUENCE has your CHRISTIAN practice after three (3) years in it brought to your personal life, family life, home life, church life, friendship life, study life, professional life, business life, relationship life, organisational life, community life, national life and global life?
Think about this please and let us make the necessary CHANGE.
Lets us STOP fooling and deceiving ourselves. Lets practice the true CHRISTIANITY handed to us by JESUS CHRIST and His disciples as revealed in the Bible, not the one that has been redefined by men and women for us, who are driven by demons and the love of the World.
This is because, TIME is running out on us, individually and collectively, says the SPIRIT of GOD. (James 1:22-25; Ephesians 5:15-18; 1 Timothy 4).
If you cannot proudly, boldly and genuinely IDENTIFY with other CHRISTIANS in the WORLD in the face of persecutions and to stand-up to DEFEND the practice of CHRISTIANITY in the WORLD when situation calls for it, then also, your CHRISTIANITY practice is useless and unprofitable to GOD and to us in the Body of Christ in the World. Yes, it is! Don't be DECEIVED!
