I do daily observe that lots of genuine Christians are not LOOKING unto JESUS CHRIST alone at all times (good or bad) in addressing their CHALLENGES in this World! So sad, so bad!
Many Christians do not know that it is ONLY in LOOKING unto JESUS CHRIST (the Author and Finisher of their Faith on Earth before God in Heaven) alone at all times (good or bad) and no one and nothing else that:
1. They can truly encounter and experience God's PEACE in Christ for them in this World. True!
2. They can truly encounter and experience God's PRINCIPLE (Perfection) in Christ for them in this World. True!
3. They can truly encounter and experience God's PURPOSE in Christ for them in this World. True!
4. They can truly encounter and experience God's POWER in Christ for them in this World. True!
5. They can truly encounter and experience God's PERFORMANCE in Christ for them in this World. True!
6. They can truly encounter and experience God's PROSPERITY in Christ for them in this World. True!
7. They can truly encounter and experience God's PROGRESS in Christ for them in this World. True!
8. They can truly encounter and experience God's PERFECT (rest and best) OF WHATSOEVER GOD HAVE in Christ for them in this World. True!
That is why the Bible counsels us thus:
Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, LET us lay aside every WEIGHT, and the SIN which does so easily beset us, and LET us RUN with patience the RACE that is set before us, LOOKING unto JESUS the Author and Finisher of our FAITH; who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God. (Hebrews 12:1,2; Hebrews 5:8-10).
This was so even in Moses and the Children of Israel's time, when God told Moses to make a serpent of brass and LIFT IT UP upon a pole that whosoever is bitten, when he or she LOOK AT IT will not DIE from their current challenge at that time, but LIVE. Only those who steadfastly LOOKED unto Moses' serpent of Brass survived as instructed by God then. Likewise, the Bible reveals to us thus:
And as Moses LIFTED UP the SERPENT in the wilderness, even so must the SON of man be LIFTED UP: That whosoever BELIEVES in Him should NOT perish, but have eternal life. For God so LOVED the WORLD, that he GAVE His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent NOT his Son into the World to CONDEMN the World; but that the World THROUGH Him might be SAVED. He that believes on Him is not condemned: but he that believes not is condemned already, because he had not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. And this is the condemnation, that LIGHT is come into the World, and MEN loved DARKNESS rather than LIGHT, because their deeds were evil. For every one that does EVIL hates the LIGHT, neither comes to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. But he that does TRUTH comes to the LIGHT, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God. (John 3:14-21; Numbers 21:4-9; John 1:1-14).
If I may ask you at this moment:
1. WHO are you currently LOOKING UNTO to help you with your challenges in Christ in this World? Who?
Jesus Christ or ???
For Apostle Paul and I we are:
LOOKING unto JESUS the Author and Finisher of our FAITH; who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God. (Hebrews 12:1; 1 Peter 5:6-10).
Who are you supposed to be LOOKING unto then?
JESUS CHRIST alone! Take note, take heed!
2 WHAT are you currently LOOKING UNTO to help you with your challenges in this World? What?
The Word of God or ???
For King David and I we are saying:
You art my hiding place and my shield: I HOPE in your WORD. (Psalm 119:114).
What are you supposed to be LOOKING unto then?
The WORD OF GOD alone! Take note, take heed!
3. WHERE are you currently LOOKING UNTO for help for your challenges in this World? Where?
The Throne of Grace in Heaven or ???
For King David, Apostle Paul and I we are saying:
I will LIFT UP mine eyes unto the hills, from whence COMES my HELP. My help comes from the LORD, which made Heaven and Earth. SEEING then that we have a great HIGH PRIEST, that is passed into the heavens, JESUS the Son of God, LET US hold fast our profession. For we have not an high priest which CANNOT be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin. LET US therefore COME boldly unto the THRONE of GRACE, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need. (Psalm 121:1,2; Hebrews 4:14-16).
Where are you supposed to be LOOKING unto then?
The THRONE OF GRACE in Heaven alone! Take note, take heed!
4. WHEN do you currently LOOK UNTO for help for your challenges in this World? When?
Par day or ???
For Jesus Christ and I we are saying:
But seek you FIRST the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be ADDED unto you. TAKE therefore NO thought for the TOMORROW: for the tomorrow shall take thought for the things of itself. SUFFICIENT unto the DAY is the evil thereof. (Matthew 6:33,34).
When are you supposed to be LOOKING unto Him then?
PAR DAY alone. Take note, take heed!
5. HOW are you currently LOOKING UNTO Him for help for your challenges in this World? How?
Praying always or ???
For Jesus Christ, Apostle Paul and I we are saying:
And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought ALWAYS to PRAY, and NOT to FAINT. Be careful for nothing; but in EVERY THING by PRAYER and supplication with thanksgiving let YOUR REQUESTS be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. (Luke :18;1 Philippians 4:6,7).
How are you supposed to be LOOKING unto Him then?
BY PRAYING always. Take note, take heed!
Finally, remember, the who, what, where, when and how you are LOOKING unto Christ in this World are critical factors whether you will enter and enjoy divine REST and BEST in Christ for you in this World. True!
Think about it and do something about it urgently, if it is not yet so for you as stated above because the truth to be told, PEOPLE do not determine your DESTINY in Christ in this World, but only GOD, your designer, Creator and Owner does. True! Take note, take heed!
