Let me tell you a gospel truth that if you truly desire to understand your LIVING on the EARTH as a HUMAN, you must understand the three (3) parts of your BEING A HUMAN on the Earth. That is, you must understand that:
1. You are a human SPIRIT living both in the spirit and physical World. True!
2. You are a human SOUL living both in the spirit and physical World. True!
3. You are a human BODY living only in the physical World. True!
This is why Apostle Paul prayed for us thus:
And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole SPIRIT and SOUL and BODY be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. Faithful is he that calls you, who also will do it. (1 Thessalonians 5:23;24).
This is why the Bible reveals to us thus:
And he humbled you, and suffered you to hunger, and fed you with manna, which you knew not, neither did your fathers know; that He might MAKE YOU KNOW that man DOES NOT live by bread only, but by EVERY WORD that proceeds out of the MOUTH of the LORD does man live. (Deuteronomy 8:3; Luke 4:3,4).
This means that while your human BODY that housed your human SPIRIT and human SOUL in this physical World needs both physical FOOD and spiritual FOOD (the Word of God) daily to SURVIVE and to STAND in this physical World, your human SPIRIT and your human SOUL needs spiritual FOOD (the WORD of GOD) only and daily to SURVIVE and to STAND in both the spirit and physical Worlds. True! And moreover, it is only the Word of God that CONVERTS (renew or transform) your human SOUL (mind, emotions and will) from being CARNAL to being SPIRITUAL after you got born again in Christ in this physical World. True! Take note, take heed! (Psalm 19:7-14; Romans 8:1-9; 12:1,2; 3 John 1:2).
And funny enough, your human SPIRIT and your human SOUL is your everlasting you that does not die, but CONTINUES LIVING in the spirit World after your human BODY physically dies in this physical World or your human SOUL departs from this Earth through your physical death. True! Take note, take heed!
This is why Jesus Christ said to us thus:
And FEAR NOT THEM which KILL the BODY, but are NOT ABLE to kill the SOUL: but rather FEAR Him which is able to destroy both SOUL and BODY in hell. (Matthew 10: 28; Ecclesiastes 12)
Take note, take heed that the BODY stated in the above scriptural verse is not your physical BODY, but your transition BODY that will be given to your human SOUL after your human BODY dies or your human SOUL departs from this Earth through your physical death. True! (1 Corinthians 15:33-58).
Now, it is my sad observation that many genuine Christians consciously or unconsciously do not SURVIVE and STAND their LIVES' (human SPIRIT, human SOUL and human BODY) spiritual and physical activities in the spirit and physical Worlds on the WORD of GOD daily. True! So sad, so bad!
What they do not know is that the WORD of GOD is a SOLID ROCK in the realm of the Spirit that is supposed to keep them SURVIVING and STANDING spiritually and physically STRONG and HEALTHY before, during and after their challenges both in the spirit and physical Worlds. True! Take note, take heed! (Proverbs 4:20-23; 3 John 1:2).
This is while King David requested from God thus:
Hear my cry, O God; attend unto my prayer. From the end of the Earth will I cry unto you, when MY HEART is OVERWHELMED: LEAD ME TO THE ROCK (the Word of God) that is HIGHER than I. For you had been a shelter for me, and a strong tower from the enemy. (Psalm 61:1-3; Psalm 119).
This us why Jesus Christ said to us thus:
Therefore whosoever HEARS these sayings of mine, and DOES them, I will liken him unto a WISE man, which BUILT his house upon a ROCK: And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and BEAT upon that house; and it FELL NOT for it was FOUNDED upon a ROCK. And every one that HEARS these sayings of mine, and DOES them NOT, shall be likened unto a FOOLISH man, which BUILT his house upon the SAND: And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and BEAT upon that house; and it FELL: and GREAT was the FALL of it. (Matthew 7:24-27; James 1:22-25; 1 Corinthians 3:18-20).
Daily, I see lots of spiritually and physically WEAK and UNHEALTHY genuine Christians. This is just because they consciously or unconsciously REFUSED to remember and TO TAKE HEED to Jesus Christ revelation to us in the above scriptural passage. True! So sad, so bad!
Please, don't be deceived because being a genuine Christian DOES NOT EXCLUDE YOU from the daily spiritual and physical CHALLENGES on Earth we all face as humans living in a fallen and wicked World that her ways, manners, traditions, cultures, principles, systems, etc are driven by the dark forces (in human clothing) led by the archenemy of our SOULS, the Devil. (Ephesians 6:10-18; 1 Peter 5:6-10; 1 John 2:15-17; Colossians 2:8-10; 1 John 5:18-21).
However, JESUS CHRIST has made it clear that it is only the WORD of GOD each of us has consciously and consistently HEAR, RECEIVED, BELIEVED and BECOME by DOING that will keep us STANDING before, during and after our time of CHALLENGES (tests and trials) in this World, distinguishing or differentiating us from others who not daily SURVIVING on the WORD of God in Christ in this World. True! Take note, take heed!
This is why Apostle John revealed to us thus that for us to physically PROSPER (be wealthy) and be in HEALTH, each of us must see to the spiritual PROSPERITY (spiritual maturity by the Word of God) of our individual human SOUL:
Beloved, I wish above all things that thou may PROSPER and be in HEALTH, even as your SOUL PROSPERS. (3 John 1:2).
This is why Apostle Paul counselled us thus:
I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you PRESENT YOUR BODIES a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. And be NOT CONFORMED to this World: but be you TRANSFORMED by the RENEWING OF YOUR MIND, that you may PROVE what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, WILL of God. (Romans 12:1,2; Philippians 4:8,9)
This is why God timely instructed Joshua as well as us thus:
This book of the law shall not DEPART OUT of your mouth; but thou shalt MEDITATE THEREIN day and night, that thou may OBSERVE TO DO according to ALL that is written therein: for then you shall MAKE YOUR WAY PROSPEROUS, and then you shall HAVE GOOD SUCCESS. (Joshua 1:8).
This is why the Bible reveals to us thus:
Blessed is the man that WALKS not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor STANDS in the way of sinners, nor SITS in the seat of the scornful. But his DELIGHT is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he MEDITATE day and night. And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he DOES shall PROSPER. (Psalm 1:1-3).
Finally, know and note that God has designed it that:
1. His Word as LAW is perfect enough to the CONVERTING of human Soul from carnal to spiritual status (position) and state (condition). True! (Psalm 19:7).
2. His Word as TESTIMONY is sure enough to the MAKING WISE the simple (humble). True! (Psalm 19:7).
3. His Word as STATUTES is right enough to the REJOICING of human Heart. True! (Psalm 19:8).
4. His Word as COMMANDMENT is pure enough to the ENLIGHTENING of human Eyes. True! (Psalm 19:8).
5. His Word as FEAR is clean enough to the ENDURING for ever. True! (Psalm 19:9).
6. His Word as JUDGMENT is true and righteous enough. True! (Psalm 19:9).
And we are counselled to daily desire the WORD of God in the above dimensions more than MONEY and that we should let it be sweeter than HONEY and the honeycomb. That we should FLEE the love of money and FOLLOW after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness, peace, etc that is based on the Word, Will and Way of God in Christ for us in this World and to FIGHT the good FIGHT of FAITH in Christ in this World to the end like Jesus Christ. True! Take note take heed! (Psalm 19:7-14; 1 Timothy 6:6-12; John 17:1-5; 2 Timothy 4:5-8).
Take note, take heed that for your human SPIRIT and human SOUL to spiritually and physically SURVIVE and STAND in the realm of the spirits and in the realm of humans, you need the WORD of GOD as Holy Spirit inspired daily as your spiritual FOOD (the Word of God) as well as your human BODY needs it to stay STRONG and HEATHY in this realm of humans. True!
I am sorry to say at this point that only the spiritually FOOLISH and BLIND rejects the WORD, WILL and WAY of God in Christ for them in this World or foolishly put other things of this life above it in this World. True! I say so with all humility based on my personal experiences, researches and observations of other people's lives. This World is full of HIDDEN WICKEDNESS of the more you look, the less you see, if you are spiritually insensitive, foolish and blind (Psalm 119; Ephesians 5:15-18; 1 John 5:18-21; 1 Corinthians 2:9-16).
This is because apart from serving as a SOLID ROCK that SUSTAINS you not to SINK in the Ocean of life, but to SURVIVE and STAND BEFORE, IN and AFTER your testing and trying period, the WORD, WILL and WAY of God in Christ for you par time in this World is God's DESIRE, DESIGN and DESTINY in Christ for you par time in this World. True! Take note, take heed!
