I did inform you yesterday that work is one of the critical part or reason of our existence in the WORLD. That God views the WORLD to involve those that are doing His (divine) PURPOSE (work) in Christ in the WORLD, those doing their own Self (defeating) PURPOSE (work) for themselves or other people's (defeating) PURPOSE (work) for them in the WORLD and those doing demonic (destroying) PURPOSE (work) in Satan in the WORLD. (Genesis 2:5,7,15-18; Ephesians 2:5-10).
For today, God views the WORLD as a STADIUM, where RACE are RUN on life lane (from earth to heaven) or death lane (from earth to hell) respectively by humans.
Therefore, they are:
1. those running on the side of God in Christ in the WORLD. That is, running a LIFE RACE in the STADIUM of the WORLD.
2. those running on the side of Satan in the WORLD. That is, running a DEATH RACE in the STADIUM of the WORLD.
Jesus Christ reveals that in this WORLD, there is a straight gate and a narrow way (path or lane), but only few persons in the WORLD finds it, enters it and runs on it. That this way leads to LIFE. And there is a wide gate and a broad way (path or lane), but many persons in the WORLD finds it, enters it and runs on it. That this way leads to DESTRUCTION. (Matthew 7:13,14).
Which have you found, entered and running on?
Viewing the WORLD like a STADIUM, the Bible reveals that seeing that we also are compassed (surrounded) about with so a great cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every WEIGHT and SIN which do so easily beset (entice) us and let us RUN with PATIENCE the RACE that is set before us (in Christ in the narrow way, path or lane), looking unto JESUS CHRIST, the Author and Finisher of our FAITH, who for the joy (reward for fulfilling His divine purpose) that was set before Him endured the cross (suffering), despising shame and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God. Halleluyah! (Hebrews 12:1-3; 2 Timothy 2:1-7; James 1:12-15).
Many genuine Children of God in Christ in the WORLD do not know that they are currently and individually running a very important, but serious LIFE RACE in Christ in the STADIUM of the WORLD.
Therefore, a lots of genuine Christians as spiritual athletes in the WORLD, are not exercising caution, restrain and discipline in their thinking, speaking, feeding, sleeping, relating and living in the WORLD as physical athletes do in this WORLD for their sport competitions. (Philippians 4:8,9).
Apostle Paul counsels that, do you and I not know that they which RUN in a RACE, run all, but ONE receives the PRIZE? So you and I should run that we may obtain a PRIZE. (1 Corinthians 9:24).
He further says that every human (physical athletes in the world) that strives for the mastery (professional-ship) is TEMPERATE (self-control or discipline) in all things. Now they do it to obtain a corruptible crown, but we (spiritual athletes in Christ in the world), an incorruptible crown. Therefore, we should discipline or bring our body (self) under subjection (order and control in Christ), lest we run (in Christ in the STADIUM of the WORLD) in vain. Halleluyah! (1 Corinthians 9:25-27; 2 Corinthians 10:3-6; Galatians 2:1,2).
This means that if you and I must RUN well and safe in Christ (narrow path) in the STADIUM of the WORLD, we must consciously and strictly be charge and control (by the guidance of the WORD OF GOD and leading of the SPIRIT OF GOD) of:
WHO we relate with in the WORLD and to what extent . (2 Corinthians 6:14-18).
WHAT we think, speak or do (or involve ourselves in) in the WORLD and to what extent. (Proverbs 23:7; Joshua 1:8; Matthew 12:34-37; Philippians 4:5).
WHERE we go to and to what extent. (Ephesians 5:15-18).
WHEN we do things and to what extent. (Ecclesiastes 3:1-11).
Until unbelievers and sinners, who are in this the same STADIUM of the WORLD together with us, finds you and I RUNNING (or race) in Christ strange (different) to their RUNNING (or race) in Satan, you and I are running similar to them unknowingly and unconsciously. And that is very dangerous for you and I in Christ and derogatory to God in this WORLD. We have to be consciously and consistently Word of God-driven, watchful and prayerful, so that we can be distinctively different (in thinking, speaking and living) before them in the sight of God at all times. Yes will are, so that they will come to God in Christ because of us. (1 Peter 4; 2 Corinthians 6:14-18; Matthew 5:13-16; 1 Peter 2:9,10; 2 Corinthians 5:17-21).
We must be like JESUS CHRIST, who while He was in this STADIUM of the WORLD, ran His race consciously and strictly by focusing and doing His Father's business and bidding in purity, power and purpose with a PRIZE (of sitting at the right hand side of His Father's throne) in mind . (Luke 2:49; John 4:34; John 9:4,5; John 17:1-5; Hebrews 12:1-3; 1 John 4:17).
That was how Apostle Paul lived his life in Christ in the STADIUM of the WORLD likewise. He says that, this is one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind (and distracting) and reaching forth unto those things which are before. I press toward a mark (target of his divine mandate in Christ) for a PRIZE of the high of God in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 3:13,14).
Therefore, he was able to says like Jesus Christ at the end of his RACE in Christ in the STADIUM of the WORLD, for I am now ready to be offered and the time of my departure is at hand. I have fought a good fight of FAITH. I have finished my COURSE (race in the stadium of this world). I have kept the FAITH. Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the righteous Judge shall give me at the last day and not to me only, but unto all them also that love His (Jesus Christ's) appearing. Halleluyah! (2 Timothy 4:5-8; John 17:1-5).
May you and I be able to boldly declare the same at our own time of departure from this STADIUM of the WORLD we are currently living in in Jesus name.
God got a STADIUM in mind of the WORLD. Do you?
