It saddens me to observe that majority of genuine CHILDREN of GOD in Christ in this World are not LIVING and WINNING by a COVENANT mindset in Christ in this World.
They are not thinking, speaking and LIVING consciously and confidently by a COVENANT mindset that GOD is on their side or with them. Thus, no matter what, they must WIN against ALL oppositions (and oppressions) to VICTORY and they must OVERCOME against ALL obstacles (and odds) to SUCCESS in Christ in this World.
They do not KNOW or UNDERSTAND that it is because of the everlasting COVENANT relationship between their spiritual father of faith (Abraham) and God, which they by faith in the Lord Jesus Christ connected or entered into, the Bible reveals that:
...We KNOW that ALL THINGS work together for GOOD to them that LOVE GOD (and gave their lives to Him through His Son, Jesus Christ, living His Words, Ways and Wills in this World), to them who are the CALLED (from the World) according to His PURPOSE...
What shall we (you and I) then say to these things (oppositions and obstacles)? If GOD be FOR US, who can be against us?
He that spared not His own Son (Jesus Christ), but delivered Him up FOR US all, how shall He not with Him also freely give US all things (that pertains to life and godliness)?
Who shall lay any thing to the charge of GOD'S ELECT? It is God that justifies (approves).
Who is He that condemns? It is Christ that died, yes rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession FOR US.
As it is written, for you we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.
No, in ALL these things (oppositions and obstacles) we are MORE THAN CONQUERORS through Him (Jesus Christ) that loved US. Halleluyah! (Romans 8:28, 31-37; Romans 4:16; Psalm 105:1-10; 2 Peter 1:3).
Therefore, VICTORY and SUCCESS is sure to any genuine CHILD OF GOD in Christ in this World, who will think, speak and LIVE by a COVENANT mindset in Christ in this World.
This is because the Bible reveals that God says My COVENANT will I not BREAK, neither will I ALTER the thing (Word) that is gone (or comes) out of My Lip (mouth). Never will God do that! Halleluyah! (Psalm 89:34).
Remember, God is not a Man, that He should LIE or the son of Man, that He should REPENT (change). Has He said and shall He not do it? Has He spoken and shall He not make it good? He will! (Numbers 23:19).
In the next couple of days, I will love you to follow me on this series as the Holy Spirit unveils the secret of winning through thinking, speaking and LIVING by a COVENANT mindset in Christ in this World.
However, for today, I will be informing you about the PURPOSE of divine COVENANT to enlighten and enable you to think, speak and LIVE by a COVENANT mindset to VICTORY and to SUCCESS in Christ in this World.
The Bible reveals that God requests saying:
Gather My SAINTS together unto ME; those that have made a COVENANT with Me by SACRIFICE. (Psalm 50:5).
Therefore, the primary PURPOSE of (divine) COVENANT is to gather together the people of God (saints) unto Him. In this era of grace, is to SEPARATE unto Him (God), those who are His people by the SACRIFICE of Christ from those who are not His people by the sacrifice of Christ in this World.
Thus, we have two sets of people in this World:
1. Those who have made a COVENANT with GOD by the SACRIFICE of Christ.
That is, those who HAVE genuinely believed, received and confessed the Lord Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Saviour in this World forsaking their sins or old lifestyle for that of Jesus Christ.
Therefore, the Bible reveals that you and I together in Christ in this World is:
A CHOSEN generation, a ROYAL priesthood, an HOLY nation, a PECULIAR people, that you and I should show forth the praises of Him who has CALLED you and I out of darkness (the World) into His marvelous light (Kingdom).
Which in time past were not a people, but now the PEOPLE OF GOD: which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained MERCY. Thank you Lord! (1 Peter 2:9,10).
Do you get it?
2. Those who have not made a COVENANT with GOD by the SACRIFICE of Christ.
That is, those who HAVE NOT believed or genuinely believed, received and confessed the Lord Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Saviour in this World forsaking their sins or old lifestyle for that of Jesus Christ.
Therefore, the Bible counsels that you and I in Christ in this World should:
Be not unequally (intimately) yoked together with UNBELIEVERS: for what fellowship has RIGHTEOUSNESS with UNRIGHTEOUSNESS And what communion has LIGHT with DARKNESS
And what concord (connection) has Christ with Belial (devil)? Or what part has He that BELIEVES with an INFIDEL (unbeliever)?
And what agreement has the TEMPLE OF GOD (you and I bodies) with IDOLS (demons)? For you and I are the TEMPLE of the LIVING GOD; as God has said, I will DWELL in them and WALK in them and I will be their GOD and they shall be my PEOPLE.
Wherefore COME OUT from among them and be you SEPARATED, Says the Lord and touch not the unclean thing and I will receive you.
And will be a FATHER unto you and you shall be My Sons and Daughters, says the Lord Almighty. (2 Corinthians 6:14-18).
Do you get it?
Therefore, you should KNOW now that at your genuine SALVATION moment:
1. It is a COVENANT agreement you made or entered with God by the SACRIFICE of Jesus Christ, which SAINTLY covenanted or separates (sanctifies and consecrates) YOU (from the World) unto God in Christ in this World.
2. It is a COVENANT agreement you made or entered with God by the SACRIFICE of Jesus Christ, which SPECIFICALLY covenanted or separates (sanctifies and consecrates) YOU (from the World) unto God in Christ in this World.
3. It is a COVENANT agreement you made or entered with God by the SACRIFICE of Jesus Christ, which SPECIALLY (and uniquely) covenanted or separates (sanctifies and consecrates) YOU (from the World) unto God in Christ in this World.
You are more special and valuable to God by this COVENANT relationship than you are currently THINKING about yourself in Christ in this World. Yes, you are!
You are more special and valuable to God by this COVENANT relationship than you are currently SPEAKING about yourself in Christ in this World. Yes, you are!
You are more special and valuable to God by this COVENANT relationship than you are currently LIVING by yourself (instead by the Holy Spirit) in Christ in this World. Yes, you are!
Therefore:
STOP! Starts THINKING consciously (irrespectively of what you going through right now) that you are special and matters to God, because of the COVENANT relationship you have with Him by the SACRIFICE of Jesus Christ and your life and affairs will never remain the same again in Christ in this World.
STOP! Starts SPEAKING consistently (irrespectively of what you are going through right now) that you are special and matters to God, because of the COVENANT relationship you have with Him by the SACRIFICE of Jesus Christ and your life and affairs will never remain the same again in Christ in this World.
STOP! Starts LIVING confidently (irrespectively of what you are going through right now) that you are special and matters to God, because of the COVENANT relationship you have with Him by the SACRIFICE of Jesus Christ and your life and affairs will never remain the same again in Christ in this World.
