UNTIL YOU CONSCIOUSLY AND CONSISTENTLY HUMBLE YOURSELF BEFORE GOD IN 2017, FORGET ABOUT HIS FAVOUR!

1. Until you come  to a place of conscious and consistent HUMILITY before GOD in Christ in 2017, where you consciously and consistently know, accept, think and live indeed saying Lord, I am truly HOPELESS in this World without you, you may not encounter and experience Him in 2017 hopefully in Christ as you are expecting right now. True! (Colossians 1:27; Hebrews 6:12-20).

2. Until you come to a place of conscious and consistent HUMILITY before GOD in Christ in 2017, where you consciously and consistently know, accept, think and live indeed saying Lord, I am HELPLESS in this World without you, you may not encounter and experience Him in 2017 helpfully in Christ as you are expecting right now. True! (Romans 8:26-39).

3. Until you come to a place of conscious and consistent HUMILITY before GOD in Christ in 2017, where you consciously and consistently know, accept, think and live indeed saying Lord, I am USELESS in this World without you, you may not encounter and experience Him in 2017 usefully in Christ as you are expecting right now. True! (1 Corinthians 2:9-16).

4. Until you come to a place of conscious and consistent HUMILITY before GOD in Christ in 2017, where you consciously and consistently know, accept, think and live indeed saying Lord, I am POWERLESS in this World without you, you may not encounter and experience Him in 2017 powerfully in Christ as you are expecting right now. True! (1 Samuel 2:9; John 1:12, Acts 1:8).

5. Until you come to a place of conscious and consistent HUMILITY before GOD in Christ in 2017, where you consciously and consistently know, accept, think and live indeed saying Lord, I am PURPOSELESS in this World without you, you may not encounter and experience Him in 2017 purposefully in Christ as you are expecting right now. True! (Ephesians 2:10; Colossians 4:17).

6. Until you come to a place of conscious and consistent HUMILITY before GOD in Christ in 2017, where you consciously and consistently know, accept, think and live indeed saying Lord, I am POOR in this World without you, you may not encounter and experience Him in 2017 richly in Christ as you are expecting right now. True! (2 Corinthians 8:9).

7. Until you come to a place of conscious and consistent HUMILITY before GOD in Christ in 2017, where you consciously and consistently know, accept, think and live indeed saying Lord, I am FOOLISH in this World without you, you may not encounter and experience Him in 2017 wisely in Christ as you are expecting right now. True! (1 Corinthians 3:18-20).

In fact, you must consciously and consistently be rehearsing in your mind throughout 2017 that you are NOTHING without God in Christ, for Him to make you SOMETHING in Christ in 2017 in this World. True! (2 Corinthians 3:5,6).

Prophet Isaiah once lamented concerning our hopeless and helpless state of being humans living in this bedeviled World, except God's Spirit comes into and upon us to bring out godly value and substance out of us by His Word thus:

The voice said, Cry. And he said, What shall I cry? All FLESH (humans) is GRASS, and all the GOODLINESS (human achievement) thereof is as the flower of the field: The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: because the spirit of the LORD bloweth upon it: surely the PEOPLE is GRASS. The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: but the word of our God shall stand for ever. (Isaiah 40:6-8; Acts 1:8; Acts 2).

Apostle James put our shortsightedness state of being humans living in this bedeviled World this way thus:

Go to now, you that say, Today or tomorrow we will go into such a city, and continue there a year, and buy and sell, and get gain: Whereas you KNOW not what shall be on the tomorrow. For WHAT is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanishes away. For that you OUGHT to SAY, if the Lord will, we shall live, and do this, or that. But NOW you rejoice in your BOASTINGS: all such rejoicing is EVIL. Therefore to him that knows to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin. (James 4:13-17).

We, who claim and call ourselves CHRISTIANS (Christ's followers) in this World, must not foolishly and proudly think, speak and live like the people if the World. We Must acknowledge and accept the hopeless, helpless and shortsighted state of being humans living in this bedeviled World without God. If not, we will not humbly WILLING and OBEDIENT enough for HOLY SPIRIT to LEAD and HELP you to victory over devil and live an overcoming, successful and satisfactorily life in Christ pleasing to God in this World. True! (Isaiah 1:19,20; Romans 8:14; Galatians 5:18).

JESUS CHRIST, our Role Model for living victoriously, successfully, and satisfactorily on Earth said thus:

COME unto me, all you that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you, and LEARN OF ME; for I am MEEK and LOWLY (humble) in heart: and you shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light. (Matthew 11:28-30).

How did JESUS CHRIST learn humility and obedience?

The Bible reveals thus:

Though He (Jesus Christ) were a Son, yet LEARNED He obedience by the things which He SUFFERED; And being made PERFECT, He became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey Him. (Hebrews 5:8-9).

Some of the unpleasant things that may come your way in 2017, may be allowed by God to get you truly HUMBLE and OBEDIENT to Him. True! (Hebrews 12:1-14; 1 Thessalonians 5:18).

Therefore, to avoid unpleasant occurrences in your life in 2017, Jesus Christ in Matthew 11:28-30 stated above said, LEARN OF ME, meekness and HUMILITY before GOD.

This truth is timely for you this year because the Bible make it clears thus:

In the day of prosperity be joyful, but in the day of adversity consider: God also has set the one over against the other, to the end that man should find nothing after him. (Ecclesiastes 7:14).

Do you get it?

In one of His numerous teachings, Jesus Christ gave conditions for divine benefits and interventions thus:

And seeing the multitudes, He went up into a mountain: and when He was set, His disciples came unto Him: And He opened His mouth, and taught them, saying:

1. Blessed are the POOR (humble) in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

2. Blessed are they that MOURN (suffer for Christ's sake): for they shall be comforted.

3. Blessed are the MEEK: for they shall inherit the earth.

4. Blessed are they which do HUNGER and THIRST after righteousness: for they shall be filled.

5. Blessed are the MERCIFUL: for they shall obtain mercy.

6. Blessed are the PURE in heart: for they shall see God.

7. Blessed are the PEACEMAKERS: for they shall be called the children of God.

8. Blessed are they which are PERSECUTED for righteousness' sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

9. Blessed are ye, when men shall REVILE (accuse) you, and PERSECUTE you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake. Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you. YOU are the SALT of the EARTH: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men. YOU are the LIGHT of the WORLD. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid. Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it gives light unto all that are in the house. LET your light so SHINE before men, that they may SEE your good works, and GLORIFY your Father which is in heaven. (Matthew 5:1-16).

Do you get it?

It takes conscious and consistent HUMILITY in HEART before the Lord with the help of the HOLY SPIRIT within you and I based on the WORD OF GOD, to become the person, Jesus Christ was talking about in the above scriptural passage. True!

And the truth to be told, without this conscious and consistent HUMILITY in HEART before GOD in Christ in this World in all you think, speak and do in terms of obeying His written word in the Bible and spoken Word by His Spirit to you par time in 2017,  you will not truly encounter and experience divine blessing and lifting par time in 2017. True!

How do I know this?

Because the Bible reveals thus:

HUMBLE yourselves therefore under the mighty Hand of God, that He may EXALT you in due time: Casting ALL your care upon Him; for He cares for you. (1 Peter 5:6,7).

Anything you consistently fear, doubt, worry, hand sorrow about, etc makes you PROUD before God.

Why? Because you have not cast it upon Him. If you truly do, you will not be afraid of it or worry about it any more. True!

That is why Apostle Paul counselled thus:

Be CAREFUL (worried) for NOTHING; but in EVERY thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passes all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.(Philippians 4:6,7).

Do you get it?

Again, without this conscious and consistent HUMILITY in HEART before GOD in Christ in this World in all you think, speak and do in terms of obeying His written word in the Bible and spoken Word by His Spirit to you par time in 2017, more of His GRACE (divine provisions by the supply of the HOLY SPIRIT) will not be available to you to become and achieve all He has ordained in Christ for you in 2017 in this World. True!

How do I know this?

Because the Bible reveals thus:

But He gives MORE grace. Wherefore He said, God RESIST the PROUD, but gives GRACE unto the HUMBLE. Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. DRAW nigh to God, and He will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double minded. Be afflicted, and mourn, and weep: let your laughter be turned to mourning, and your joy to heaviness. HUMBLE yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and He shall LIFT you up. (James 4:6-10; Philippians 1:19; Hebrews 4:14-16).
