Today's Focus: God sets SOLITARY for you to FREE you from unknown EVIL and BONDAGE!
Many genuine Christians do not know that most times, God will have to set SOLITARY for them to FREE them from EVIL and BONDAGES they are unaware of, mostly within their own family and friendship relationships. True!
The Bible reveals to us thus:
God SETS the SOLITARY in families: He brings out those which are BOUND with chains: but the rebellious dwell in a dry land. (Psalm 68:6).
It is unfortunate that many genuine Christians are in family's BONDAGES because they do not take to heart, Jesus Christ's revelation to us thus:
Suppose you that I am COME to give PEACE on Earth? I tell you, NO; but rather DIVISION: For from henceforth there shall be five in one house DIVIDED, three AGAINST two, and two against three. The father shall be DIVIDED against the son, and the son AGAINST the father; the mother AGAINST the daughter, and the daughter AGAINST the mother; the mother in law AGAINST her daughter in law, and the daughter in law AGAINST her mother in law. (Luke 12:51-53; Matthew 10:34-38).
Therefore, the truth to be told, many challenges in the lives of lots of people (especially Christians) are caused by their own family members, friends, neighbours, colleagues, close associates and surprisedly, supposed Church members unknown to them. I have been a victim before, so I know what I am saying to you by the grace of God. I tell you the truth!
The Bible reveals to us thus:
Trust you NOT in a friend, put you NOT confidence in a guide: KEEP the doors of your mouth from her that lies in your bosom. For the son DISHONOURS the father, the daughter riseth up AGAINST her mother, the daughter in law AGAINST her mother in law; a man's ENEMIES are the men of his OWN house. Therefore I will look unto the LORD; I will wait for the God of my salvation: my God will hear me. Rejoice not against me, O mine enemy: when I fall, I shall arise; when I sit in darkness, the LORD shall be a light unto me. I will bear the indignation of the LORD, because I have sinned against Him, until He plead my cause, and execute judgment for me: He will bring me forth to the light, and I shall behold His righteousness. Then she that is mine enemy shall see it, and shame shall cover her which said unto me, where is the LORD your God? Mine eyes shall behold her: now shall she be trodden down as the mire of the streets. (Micah 7:5-10).
King David once exclaimed thus:
WICKEDNESS is in the midst thereof: deceit and guile depart not from her streets. For it was NOT an enemy that reproached me; then I could have borne it: NEITHER was it he that hated me that did magnify himself against me; then I would have hid myself from him: BUT it was you, a man mine equal, my guide, and mine acquaintance. WE took sweet counsel together, and WALKED unto the house of God in company. LET death seize upon them, and LET them go down quick into hell: for wickedness is in their dwellings, and among them. As for me, I will CALL upon God; and the LORD shall SAVE me. (Psalm 55:11-16; 1 John 5:18-21).
Therefore, to DELIVER us from unknown EVIL (wickedness) and BONDAGE within our close relationships, especially from those coming from our own household, God sets SOLITARY for us, His own Children in Christ in this World. True!
So then, What is a SOLITARY?
Biblically speaking, a SOLITARY is when God sets for us, wilderness (unpleasant) and desert (uncomfortable) encounters and experiences that SEPARATES us from those (unknowingly to us) who are spiritually and physically against us fulfilling His (God's) Plan and Purpose (Will) for us in Christ par time in this World.
Now, know and note that apart from God setting SOLITARY (separation) for us to separates us from those fighting and working against His Plan and Purpose (Will) for us, He also set SOLITARY (separation) for us to discipline or chastise us for our MISTAKES and ERRORS, when we go consciously and consistently against His Word, Ways and Will in Christ for us in this World without repenting promptly. True! (Psalm 107; Hebrews 12:1-17).
Very importantly to know and note is that when God sets SOLITARY (separation) for us, it is for our own SAFETY and GOOD. However, in divinely ordained SOLITARY (separation) season for us, we must know and note that:
1. We will encounter and experience some level of permitted WONDERING in Christ on Earth . True!
The Bible reveals to us thus:
They wandered in the wilderness in a SOLITARY way; they found no city to dwell in. (Psalm 107:4).
2. We will encounter and experience some level of permitted DESOLATION and WASTE in Christ on Earth. True!
The Bible reveals thus:
For want and famine they were SOLITARY; fleeing into the wilderness in former time desolate and waste. (Job 30:3).
3. We will encounter and experience some level of permitted LACK in Christ on Earth. True!
The Bible reveals to us thus:
Hungry and thirsty, their soul fainted in them. (Psalm 107:5; Deuteronomy 8:1-3).
4. We will encounter and experience some level of permitted ALONENESS in Christ on Earth. True!
The Bible reveals thus:
How does the city sit SOLITARY, that was full of people how is she become as a widow she that was was great among the nations, and princess among the provinces, how is she become tributary. She weeps sore in the night, and her tears are on her cheeks: among all her LOVERS she has NONE to comfort her: ALL her FRIENDS have dealt treacherously with her, they are become her ENEMIES. (Lamentation 1:1,2).
5. We will encounter and experience some level of permitted UNPLEASANT and UNCOMFORTABLE things in Christ on Earth. True!
The Bible reveals thus:
And lest I should be EXALTED above measure through the abundance of the revelations, there was given to me a thorn in the flesh, the messenger of Satan to buffet me, lest I should be exalted above measure. For this thing I besought the Lord thrice, that it might depart from me. And he said unto me, My GRACE is sufficient for you: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ's sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong. (2 Corinthians 12:7-10).
What to DO in your divinely ordained SOLITARY (separation) season for a reason for you?
1. Stay on the WORD of GOD always and all the way and do not compromise it for any reason in this your divinely permitted season of your life. (Psalm 119; Psalm 19:7-14; Psalm 1:1-3). True!
2. Stay away from any kind and form of LUST and SIN, always and all the way. (James 1:12-14; 1 John 5:16-21; James 4:1-5).
3. Stay PRAYERFULLY asking for WISDOM persistently on how to make it through each stage, always and all the way. (Luke 18:1-8; Mark 11:24; Psalm 55). True!
4. Stay in absolute FAITH in God and not in man, always and all the way. (Psalm 118:6-9, Hebrews 11). True!
5. Stay away from those who will WEAKEN your TRUST in God, always and all the way. (2 Corinthians 6:14-18; 1 Corinthians 15:33; Colossians 2:8-10). True!
6. Stay with only those who will ENCOURAGE and empower you to good works in Christ, always and all the way. (Proverbs 27:17; Hebrews 10:20-25).
7. Stay SENSITIVE to the Holy Spirit of Christ that is within you, always and all the way. (1 Corinthians 2:9-16; Romans 8).
8. Stay HOPEFUL on the promises, always and all the way. (Isaiah 35:1; Romans 4:16-25; Colossians 1:27).
9. Stay consciously knowing that ALL THINGS will eventually work out together for your GOOD at the end of it all, always and all the way. (Romans 8:28; 1 Peter 5:6-10).
10. Stay THANKFUL and praising God, always and all the way. (1 Thessalonians 5:18; Philippians 4:6,7; Psalm 107).
11. Stay joyful PATIENT, always and all the way. (James 1:2-8; Hebrews 6:12-20; Isaiah 28:16).
12. Stay consciously KNOWING that God will faithfully SETTLE at the end of it all, always and all the way. (1 Thessalonians 5:24; 1 Peter 5:6-10).
13. Stay in CHARGE and control of your thoughts, words and actions. Let them please the Lord always and all the way. (2 Corinthians 10:3-6; Romans 12:1,2; Philippians 4:8,9; James 3; Colossians 3:16,17).
14. Stay LOOKING unto Jesus Christ, the Author and Finisher of your faith, always and all the way. (Hebrews 12:1-17; 1 Corinthians 3:16-23).
With the above points taken to heart and practiced consciously, consistently, faithfully and persistently, having a productive and rewarding divinely ordained SOLITARY (separation) season is SAFE and SURE.(Joshua 1:8).
We must come to the realization of Apostle Paul that divinely ordained SOLITARIES (unpleasant and uncomfortable encounters and experiences) are profitable to us and pays thus:

However, your ability to discern God's SOLITARY (separation) season for you from dangerous family members, friends, neighbours, associates, etc is very important and more importantly, is your willingness to SEPARATE at such time from them to something higher and better for you by God's own design and designation in Christ for you in this World. True! (2 Corinthians 6:14-18).
Will you as many Saints in the Bible days over the years did (that is, to SEPARATE from evil persons, places and practices) to enter into divine REST and BEST for them in Christ in this World?
Apostle Peter said to Jesus Christ thus:
Then Peter said, Lo, we have LEFT ALL, and FOLLOWED you. And He said unto them, verily I say unto you, there is NO man that has LEFT house, or parents, or brethren, or wife, or children, for the kingdom of God's sake, who shall not RECEIVE manifold more in this present time, and in the world to come life everlasting. (Luke 18:18-30).
Therefore, Jesus Christ said to us thus:
And He said to them all, If any man will COME after me, let him DENY himself, and TAKE up his CROSS (solitary path and pain) daily, and FOLLOW me. For whosoever will SAVE his life shall LOSE it: but whosoever will LOSE his life for my sake, the same shall SAVE it. For what is a man advantaged, if he GAIN the WHOLE World, and lose himself, or be cast away? For whosoever shall be ASHAMED of me and of my Words, of him shall the Son of man be ASHAMED, when He shall come in His own glory, and in His Father's, and of the Holy angels. (Luke 9:23-26).
Today's Focus from Scripture:
Be you NOT unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for WHAT fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and WHAT communion hath light with darkness? And WHAT concord hath Christ with Belial? Or WHAT part hath he that believeth with an infidel? And WHAT agreement hath the temple of God with idols? For YOU are the temple of the living God; as God has said, I will DWELL in them, and WALK in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. Wherefore COME OUT from among them, and be you SEPARATE, said the Lord, and touch NOT the unclean thing; and I will RECEIVE you, And will be a Father unto you, and you shall be my sons and daughters, said the Lord Almighty. (2 Corinthians 6:14-18; Matthew 10:34-38).
