Today's Focus: WHERE are you an OFFENCE unto CHRIST or OFFENDING Christ in this World?
The truth to be told:
1. The THINKING pattern of many genuine Christians are knowingly or unknowingly an OFFENCE unto Christ or OFFENDING Christ in this World. True!
2. The SPEAKING language of many genuine Christians are knowingly or unknowingly an OFFENCE unto Christ or OFFENDING Christ in this World. True!
3. The LIVING style of many genuine Christians are knowingly or unknowingly an OFFENCE unto Christ or OFFENDING Christ in this World. True!
Such was the case of Apostle Peter before his spiritual maturity in Christ in this World. True!
The Bible reveals thus:
From that time forth began Jesus to SHOW unto His disciples, HOW that He must go unto Jerusalem, and SUFFER many things of the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be KILLED, and be RAISED again the third day. Then Peter took Him, and began to REBUKE Him, saying, be it far from you, Lord: this shall not be unto you. But He turned, and SAID unto Peter, get you behind me, Satan: you art an OFFENCE unto me: for you savours NOT the things that be of God, but those that be of men. (Matthew 16:21-23).
Now, know and note that:
1. When you do not consciously MEDITATE or THINK in terms of God's Word, Ways and Will in Christ for you par your situation in this World, you are knowingly or unknowingly an OFFENCE unto Christ or OFFENDING Christ in this World by your meditating or thinking pattern. True!
Therefore, Apostle Paul counselled us thus:
I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. And be NOT conformed to this World: but be you transformed by the RENEWING of your MIND, that you may PROVE what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, WILL of God. (Romans 12:1,2; Colossians 3:1-4; Philippians 4:8,9).
2. When you do not consciously SPEAK or PRAY in terms of God's Word, Ways and Will in Christ for you par your situation in this World, you are knowingly or unknowingly an OFFENCE to Christ or OFFENDING Christ in this World by your speaking or praying language. True!
Therefore, Jesus Christ taught us thus:
After this manner therefore PRAY you: our Father which art in heaven, hallowed be your name. Your KINGDOM come. Your WILL be done in Earth, as it is in Heaven. (Matthew 6:9,10; 1 John 5:14,15).
3. When you do not consciously SEEK or LIVE in terms of God's Word, Ways and Will in Christ for you par your situation in this World, you are knowingly or unknowingly an OFFENCE to Christ or OFFENDING Christ in this World by your seeking or living style. True!
Jesus Christ, our ultimate rile model for thinking, speaking and living right to please God the Father said thus:
In the mean while His disciples prayed Him, saying, Master, EAT. He said unto them, I have meat to eat that you know not of. Therefore said the disciples one to another, has any man brought Him ought to eat? Jesus said unto them, My MEAT (food) is to DO the WILL of Him that SENT me, and to FINISH His work. (John 4:31-34; John 9:4,5; Luke 2:49; Matthew 5:13-16; Matthew 6:33).
Remember, the Bible reveals to us that as HE is, so are WE in this World. (1 John 4:17).
Now, if I may ask you:
1. Where in your MINDSET? Are you an OFFENCE to Christ or OFFENDING Christ in this World?
Where are you not conscious and consistent with the Word, Ways and Will of God in Christ for you in your THINKING pattern in this World?
Please, the Lord sent me to tell you today, it is TIME to thoughtfully and prayerfully FIND it out and do something about it NOW with the HELP of the Holy Spirit of Christ that is within you before it is too LATE for you here on Earth. Yes, too late! (Ephesians 5:15-18).
2. Where in your COMMUNICATION are you an OFFENCE to Christ or OFFENDING Christ in this World?
Where are you not conscious and consistent with the Word, Ways and Will of God in Christ for you in your SPEAKING language in this World?
Please, the Lord sent me to tell you today, it is TIME to silently and prayerfully FIND it out and do something about it NOW with the HELP of the Holy Spirit of Christ that is within you before it is too LATE for you here on Earth. Yes, too late! (Ephesians 5:15-18).
3. Where in your LIFESTYLE are you an OFFENCE to Christ or OFFENDING Christ in this World?
Where are you not conscious and consistent with the Word, Ways and Will of God in Christ for you in your LIVING style in this World?
Please, the Lord sent me to tell you today, it is TIME to carefully and prayerfully FIND it out and do something about it NOW with the HELP of the Holy Spirit of Christ that is within you before it is too LATE for you here on Earth. Yes, too late!
The Bible counsels us thus:
See then that you WALK circumspectly, not as FOOLS, but as WISE, Redeeming the TIME, because the days are EVIL. Wherefore be you not UNWISE, but understanding what the WILL of the Lord is. And be NOT drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be FILLED with the Spirit; (Ephesians 5:15-18).
Take note, take heed, not to be an OFFENCE unto Christ or OFFENDING Christ in anyway.
Today's Focus from Scripture:
But as it is written, EYE has not seen, nor EAR heard, neither have entered into the HEART of man, the things which God has PREPARED for them that LOVE Him. But God hath REVEALED them unto us by His SPIRIT: for the Spirit SEARCHES all things, yes, the deep things of God. For what man knows the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knows no man, but the Spirit of God. Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the SPIRIT which is of God; that we might KNOW the things that are FREELY given to us of God. Which things also we speak, not in the Words which man's wisdom teaches, but which the Holy Ghost teaches; comparing spiritual things with spiritual. But the natural man receives not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. But he that is spiritual judges all things, yet he himself is judged of no man. For who has known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ. (1 Corinthians 2:9-16).
