It is written, EXCEPT the LORD BUILD the house, they LABOUR in VAIN that build it: EXCEPT the LORD KEEP the city, the watchman WAKES but in VAIN. (Psalm 127)
That is to say, it is GOD who can daily and safely build and protect your life, help you achieve great things and attain great heights in this World and not necessarily your daily LABOUR or pay JOB because only the blessing of the Lord makes RICH and add NO SORROW in this World. It is unfortunate that many Christians have NOT yet to come to terms with this truth, so they LABOUR each day by their OWN strength and live as if they DO NOT NEED God to succeed like the people of the World do instead of seeking the FAVOUR of GOD that comes by listening to the Holy Spirit's instructions, believing and obeying the Holy Spirit's instructions and carrying out (by faith) the Holy Spirit's instructions as they go about doing their daily LABOUR or pay JOB to OUTSMART and BE AHEAD of their colleagues or competitors who then will come to them seek how they are doing it to the glory of God. That is the way it should be for us Children of God in Christ in this World. Now note that if the Lord chooses to build your house (life and everything that concerns you) and keep you safe in Christ in this World, NO MAN can destroy you and your achievements except when you do not THINK, SPEAK and LIVE according to His WORD daily as revealed to you by the Holy Spirit of Christ that is in you in this World. True! (Proverbs 10:22; Matthew 7:22-29; Ecclesiastes 9:11; 1 Corinthians 2:9-16; Joshua 1:8; Psalms 19:7-14; Philippians 4:6-9; Hebrews 1:9; 1 Samuel 2:1-10, Zechariah 4:6-9).
