It is written, if we LIVE in the SPIRIT, let us also WALK in the SPIRIT. (Galatians 5:25)
This is to say, you as a genuine Child of God in Christ in this World must know and understand that from the day you genuinely got born again and your Human Spirit become ONE with the Holy Spirit of Christ, your Human Spirit already LIVES in the SPIRIT. True! However, your Human Soul (Mind, Emotions and Will) still lives on the Earth as long as you are still alive on the Earth, therefore, you must learn to WALK in the SPIRIT in harmony with your Human Spirit that already LIVES in the SPIRIT. True! Therefore, you are instructed to WALK in the SPIRIT because you LIVE in the SPIRIT. Now, why are we asked to WALK in the SPIRIT here in this World? It is because if we WALK in the SPIRIT, we will not fulfill the LUST of the FLESH like the people of the World. True! Therefore, WHAT is WALKING in the SPIRIT in this World? WALKING in the SPIRIT in this World is simply learning how to think, speak and live (make choices and take decisions) based on:
1. The Holy Spirit-inspired INFORMATION provided in the written WORD of GOD in the Bible. True!
2. The Holy Spirit-inspired INSTRUCTIONS provided from within you par time par your situation in this World. True!
Now, WHY are we asked to WALK in the SPIRIT in this World? It is because if we do:
1. We will not FULFILL the LUST of the FLESH, the LUST of the EYES and the PRIDE of LIFE that drives the people of World into sinning against God and into living the will of Satan for them and not the WILL of GOD for them in Christ in this World.
2. We will be WALKING under GRACE fulfilling the Will of God for us in Christ in this World, and not under the LAW like the people of the World do, fulfilling their self-will and that of Satan's for them. True!
Therefore, the Bible counsels you and I to WALK in the SPIRIT, and we SHALL NOT FULFILL THE LUST OF THE FLESH. But if we will be LED of the Spirit, you are NOT under the law. True! This is why the Bible reveals to us that for as MANY as are LED by the SPIRIT of God, they are the SONS of GOD. Can you confidently now say, you are one of the SONS (Daughters) of GOD in Christ in this World. Remember that is why the Bible counsels us saying, LOVE NOT THE WORLD, neither the THINGS THAT ARE IN THE WORLD. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For ALL that is in the World, the LUST of the flesh, and the LUST of the eyes, and the PRIDE of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. And the World passes away, and the lust thereof: but he that does the Will of God abides for ever. Do you really LOVE God enough to WALK in the SPIRIT not to walk in the lust of the flesh, lust of the eyes and pride of life like the people of the World? Remember that ALL things only work together for GOOD for only those in Christ who truly LOVE GOD enough to walk not in the lust of the flesh, lust of the eyes and pride of life of this World like the people of the World. True! Therefore, Apostle Paul appeal to us saying that I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. And BE NOT CONFORMED TO THIS WORLD: but BE YOU TRANSFORMED BY THE RENEWING OF YOUR MIND, THAT YOU MAY PROVE WHAT IS THAT GOOD, AND ACCEPTABLE, AND PERFECT, WILL OF GOD. Finally, don't be deceived because until you learn to WALK in the SPIRIT (Led by the SPIRIT), you will not be able to enter and enjoy God's REST and BEST for you in Christ par time in this World. True! You will not be able to fulfill your DIVINE DESTINY (Life Purpose in Christ) in this World. This truth is revealed to us, when the Bible declares that but as it is written, EYE had not seen, nor EAR heard, neither have entered into the HEART of man, the THINGS which GOD had prepared for them that LOVE Him. BUT GOD HAD REVEALED THEM UNTO US BY HIS SPIRIT: for the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God. For what man knows the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? Even so the things of God knows no man, but the Spirit of God. Now we have received, not the spirit of the World, but the SPIRIT which is of GOD; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God. Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teaches, but which the Holy Ghost teaches; COMPARING SPIRITUAL THINGS WITH SPIRITUAL. But the natural man receives not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, BECAUSE THEY ARE SPIRITUALLY DISCERNED. But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no man. For who had known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? BUT WE HAVE THE MIND OF CHRIST. I am sent today to timely inform you about this. True!
