Today's Focus: The chastisement or DISCIPLINE of the Father is good for you!
In moulding the character or maturing His Children in Christ from CHILD-LIKE to SON-LIKE thinking, speaking and living in this World, God, the Father CHASTISES or disciplines them, where and when necessary. True!
God CHASTISES or disciplines only His sons and daughters in Christ in this World, in order to mold and mature their CHARACTER to His acceptable standard, where he can use them to be a blessing in the World. True!
Therefore, instead of you enduring His discipline, you draw back and run away from Him (God) into the World again, because of the CHALLENGES of life you are going through, which is permitted by Him, your Father, to discipline or grow your CHARACTER, then you are not a real CHILD of God in Christ in this World in the first place. This is because, every genuine Christians will face challenges in this World, but only the true Sons and daughters of God in Christ will stay on in faith and hope in the race. True!
Apostle Paul declared that we are not of them who DRAWS back unto perdition, but of them that BELIEVE to the saving of the soul. (Hebrews 10:35-39).
God, the Father, never gave us JESUS CHRIST as a child, but as a SON according to Isaiah 9:6,7. True!
JESUS CHRIST was allowed by the Father to experienced suffering in this World, in order to matured His CHARACTER, so that He will be fit enough to provide us eternal salvation according to Hebrews 5:8,9. True!
Therefore, don't be deceived, you will not escape the CHASTISEMENT or discipline of the Father, where and when necessary, to grow and mature you from being a CHILD to being a SON in the way and manner you think, speak and live in Christ in this World. That is to say, to become what He wants to see in you in Christ in this World, before presenting you to the World for His ordained assignment in Christ for you in this World. True!
Apostle Paul said when I was a child, I speak as a child, I understood as a child and thought as a child. Apostle Paul was not talking about being a child by age, but he being a spiritual BABY in the things of God. He concluded by saying, when I BECAME a man, I put away childish things. Again, he was not talking of he being a man by age, but he being a spiritual ADULT in the things of God. True! (1 Corinthians 13:11; Hebrews 5:12-14).
Many Christians today are not growing or maturing spiritually from being a CHILD of God to being a SON (or DAUGHTER) of God, in terms of how they think, speak and live in this World to please God, the Father, because they are not cooperating with the Father's CHASTENING or disciplining process in their WALK (relationship) and WORK (partnership) with Him in Christ in this World. True! (Hebrews 12:1-14; Galatians 4:1-11; 2 Timothy 2:15-22; 2 Corinthians 6:14-18).
Unfortunately, until you learn to identify, accept and endure the Father's CHASTISEMENT or discipline to correct your wrong and to mature your CHARACTER, you will not be able to please Him, receive from Him as you should and very importantly, not fulfill your DIVINE DESTINY (Life Purpose in Christ on Earth) in this World. True!
Know and note that it is not all your STRUGGLES or SUFFERINGS will answer to prayer, some will only answer to your CHANGE of thinking, CHANGE speaking and CHANGE of lifestyle in Christ in this World according to Romans 12:1,2; Philippians 4:8,9, 1 John 2:15-17 and James 3. True!
Furthermore, know and note, until you SUFFER with Christ in this World, you with not GLORY with Him as well. Therefore, God, the Father, will permit different kind of sufferings on your pathway in Christ on Earth to test, trial, discipline, mature and PROMOTE you. True! (Romans 8:14-19; 1 Peter 5:8-10).

And you have forgotten the exhortation which speaks unto you as unto children, My son, DESPISE not you the CHASTENING of the Lord, NOR faint when you art rebuked of Him: For whom the Lord LOVES He CHASTENS, and scourgeth every son whom He receives. If you EDURE chastening, GOD dealeth with you as with SONS; for what son is he whom the father chastens not? But if you be WITHOUT chastisement, whereof all are partakers, then are you bastards, and not sons. Furthermore we have had fathers of our flesh which corrected us, and we gave them reverence: shall we NOT much rather be in subjection unto the FATHER of SPIRITS, and live? For they verily for a few days chastened us after THEIR own PLEASURE; but He for OUR PROFIT, that we might BE partakers of His holiness. Now no chastening for the present seems to be joyous, but grievous: nevertheless AFTERWARD it yields the peaceable FRUIT of righteousness unto them which are exercised thereby. Wherefore lift up the hands which hang down, and the feeble knees; And make straight paths for your feet, lest that which is lame be turned out of the way; but let it rather be healed. FOLLOW peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord: LOOKING diligently lest any man FAIL of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and thereby many be defiled; Lest there be any fornicator, or profane person, as Esau, who for one morsel of meat sold his birthright. For you know how that afterward, when he would have inherited the blessing, he was rejected: for he found no place of repentance, though he sought it carefully with tears. (Hebrews 12:5-17; Hebrews 10:35-39).
