Today's Focus: That the PURPOSE of God according to election might STAND!
I heard a spiritual leader once said that GOD is PARTIAL, but I heard the Spirit of God saying to me, never you say the FATHER is PARTIAL, but say He is purposeful.
What was the Holy Spirit saying to me that the FATHER is PURPOSEFUL, not PARTIAL means?
It means that ALL the thoughts, words and actions (workings) of our God and Father are PURPOSE driven according to Romans 8:28 and not PARTIALLY driven. True!
Therefore, it is INGNORANCE and WRONG to say, God is partial because, you are being denied some good things of life, which others are freely enjoying. God shows His mercy and compassion par time by PURPOSE, not by PARTIALITY. Take note!
As a genuine Child of God in Christ in this World, you must know you are the ELECT or CHOSEN of the Lord from the World. Therefore, you must understand and accept the truth that for the PURPOSE of God according to election might STAND in your life in Christ in this World:
1. God may allow people to either ACCEPT or REJECT you at a certain time and season of your journey from Earth to Heaven. True!
2. God may allow people to either APPOINT or DISAPPOINT you at a certain time and season of your journey from Earth to Heaven. True!
3. God may allow people to either EMBRACE or ATTACK you at a certain time and season of your journey from Earth to Heaven. True!
4. God may allow people to either FAVOUR or DENY you favour at a certain time and season of your journey from Earth to Heaven. True!
5. God may allow people to either STRENGTHEN or WEAKEN you at a certain time and season of your journey from Earth to Heaven. True!
6. God may allow people to either HELP or ABANDON you at a certain time and season of your journey from Earth to Heaven. True!
7. God may allow people to either GRANT you access or DENY you access to some places and positions you need or desire at a certain time and season of your journey from Earth to Heaven. True!
8. God may allow people to either PROMOTE or DEMOTE you at a certain time and season of your journey from Earth to Heaven. True!
9. God may allow people to either HONOUR or DISHONOUR you at a certain time and season of your journey from Earth to Heaven. True!
10. God may allow people to either TELL you the truth or REFUSE to tell you the truth at a certain time and season of your journey from Earth to Heaven. True!
11. God may allow people to either PROTECT or EXPOSE you at a certain time and season of your journey from Earth to Heaven. True!
12. And so on. (Ecclesiastes 3:1-11).
That is why the Bible counsels you and I to give thanks to God in EVERY thing, no matter what, because this is the WILL of God in Christ concerning you and I. (1 Thessalonians 5:18).
That is, it is either God's PERMISSIVE or PERFECT Will for you and I, for such thing to come or happen to us at such time. True!
So, know and note from henceforth that for God's PURPOSE according to election in Christ Jesus might STAND in your life in Christ in this World, He might allow so many PLEASANT and UNPLEASANT things to happen to you. Therefore, any unpleasant thing you are currently going through right now, GIVE thanks to God as you pray daily concerning the challenge. This is because there is a divine PURPOSE to every pleasure and displeasure a genuine Child of God in Christ encounters or experiences in this side of life. True! (Romans 8:14-19; Luke 18:1-8).
Now, all you need to get through your unpleasurable challenges, is having absolute and persuading TRUST and FAITH in God, no matter what. You need to convincingly settle that within you, no matter what:
1. God still loves me. (1 John 3:1-3).
2. God still cares for me. (1 Peter 5:7).
3. God is still faithful. (1 Thessalonians 5:24).
4. God is still working this unpleasant situation or suffering together for my GOOD, because I truly love Him and I am called according to His purpose in Christ Jesus for me in this World. (Romans 8:28).
5. God will still settle me by rewarding my FAITH in Him and faithfulness at the end of this unpleasant situation or suffering. (1 Peter 5:8-10; Hebrews 11:6; Romans 4:17-25).
Always keep in mind that no matter what, our all powerful God, our loving Father, is in complete CONTROL and CHARGE of my life and because of this, I know and I know, ALL is well with me, even in this. That should be your MINDSET as a genuine Child of God in Christ in this World at all time, pleasurable or unpleasurable. True! (Psalm 91:14-16; Hebrews 12:1-14).
Again, remember, if God allows or permits, unpleasant situation or suffering in your life in Christ at any time, there is a divine PURPOSE for it, either:
1. To DISCIPLINE you from ungodly practices (sin) in this World.
2. To DELIVER you from ungodly people or places in this World.
3. To DISCOVER your divine purpose in Christ within it in this World.
4. To DEVELOP (test, trial and grow) you in Christ by it in this World.
5. To DEPOLY you in Christ prepared and matured to the World. (Hebrews 5:8-14; Hebrews 12:1-14; 2 Corinthians 6:14-18; James 2-8).
Today's Focus from Scripture:
(For the children being not yet born, neither having done any good or evil, that the PURPOSE of GOD according to ELECTION might STAND, not of works, but of Him that calls;). It was said unto her, The elder shall serve the younger. As it is written, Jacob have I loved, but Esau have I hated. What shall we say then? Is there UNRIGHTEOUSNESS with GOD? God forbid. For he said to Moses, I will HAVE mercy on whom I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion. So then it is NOT of him that wills, nor of him that runs, BUT of God that shows mercy. For the scripture said unto Pharaoh, even for this same PURPOSE have I raised you up, that I might show my power in you, and that my name might be declared throughout all the earth. Therefore had He mercy on whom He will have mercy, and whom He will he hardened. You will say then unto me, why doyes He yet find fault? For who had resisted His will? Nay but, O man, who art you that repliest against God? Shall the thing formed say to him that formed it, why has you made me thus? Hath NOT the potter power over the clay, of the same lump to MAKE one vessel unto honour, and another unto dishonour? What if GOD, willing to SHOW His wrath, and to make His power known, endured with much longsuffering the vessels of wrath FITTED to destruction: And that He might MAKE known the riches of His glory on the vessels of mercy, which Je had afore PREPARED unto glory. (Romans 9:11-23; Ecclesiastes 9:11).
