Today's Focus: It is your personal RESPONSIBILITY to stand and stay FREE and BLESSED in Christ!
The Bible reveals that the THIEF (Satan) comes to steal, kill and destroy, but Jesus Christ comes to give us life and life in abundance. Therefore, he (Satan) looks daily for those in the fold of Christ to devour. True! (John 10:10; 1 Peter 5:8-10).
Therefore, you must stay alert and alive knowing that the Devil tries daily to get you into SIN, BONDAGE and CURSE by all means through your our own LUST for the things of the World driven by Him and demons, but God tries daily to get you into HOLINESS, FREEDOM and BLESSING by all means through your own LOVE for the things of the Word of God in Christ driven by the Spirit of God. True! (Colossians 3:1-4).
That is why Apostle Paul counselled thus:
STAND fast therefore in the LIBERTY wherewith Christ has made us FREE, and be NOT entangled again with the YOKE of bondage. (Galatians 5:1).
It is you and I personal RESPONSIBILITY to stand and stay in the FREEDOM and BLESSING in Christ in this World, because Christ has made us FREE and BLESSED and we are not to be brought into yoke of BONDAGE and CURSE again by sinning or rebelling against the Word, Ways and Will of God for us in Christ in this World. Take note, it is your sole and sacred responsibility. True!
Therefore, Apostle Paul further counselled you and I thus:
1. To present our BODIES a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable unto GOD as our reasonable service to Him in this sin driven World. That is, to stay FREE from everything that defiles our body. For example, formication, adultery, eating of food sacrificed to idols, etc.
2. To not be conformed to this World, but to be transformed by the renewing of our MINDS. That is, to allow the WORD of God to inform, reform and transform our thinking, not the ways and manners of the World.
Apostle John revealed that ALL in this World in the sight of God:
1. The LUST of the FLESH. Seeking sex in ungodly ways and manners.
2. The LUST of the EYES. Seeking material things in ungodly ways and manners.
3. The PRIDE of LIFE. Seeking positions, power and popularity in ungodly ways and manners. All of the above is not of the Father. (1 John 2:15-17; James 4:1-5).
Remember, the Bible reveals that the WAGES of SIN is death. That is, the salary for labouring in sin is death. True!
Now, know and note that God has designed that in all LABOUR under the heaven, there will be PROFIT. So, He had designed the labour in SIN to give the profit of DEATH to anyone, who thinks, speaks and lives against the Word, Ways and Will in Christ for them in this World. True! (Proverbs 14:23; 1 Corinthians 15:58; Proverbs 23:4).
Think about it!
Always remember that living in holiness and in holistic obedience to the Words, Ways and Wills of God in Christ in this World is for your good, not necessarily for the good of God. Take note!
STOP compromising against the Word, Ways and Will of God in Christ for you in this World, because truly your WORTH and REWARDS of God are found in Christ, not in the opinions of others. True! (Colossians 3:22-25).
Today's Focus from Scripture:
Blessed is the man that ENDURES temptation: for when he is tried, he shall RECEIVE the crown of life, which the Lord has promised to them that LOVE Him. Let NO man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God CANNOT be tempted with evil, neither tempts He any man: But EVERY man is tempted, WHEN he is drawn away of his OWN lust, and enticed. Then when lust has conceived, it brings forth SIN: and sin, when it is finished, brings forth DEATH. (James 1:12-15; Galatians 5:1; 1 John 5:16-21).
