It is written, they soon forgot his works; THEY WAITED NOT FOR HIS COUNSEL. (Psalm 106:13)
This is to say, for you as a genuine CHILD of GOD in Christ in this World you must learn to WAIT for the COUNSEL of GOD before making your choices or taking your decisions par time. This is because you are NOT to live in this World for yourself agenda, but for divine agenda because you have being BOUGHT OVER by God with the precious blood of Jesus Christ. True! You are NO longer your own to think, speak and live by your OWN COUNSEL (will) and pursue your OWN AMBITION in this World, but you are to think, speak and live by the COUNSEL (Will) of GOD for you and to pursue and fulfill His DIVINE DESTINY for you in Christ in this World. True! Therefore, as a genuine Child of God, you must learn to WAIT on GOD par time to know His COUNSEL (Will) for you before marrying that person, before embarking on that project or journey, before buying that land or anything, before becoming a member of that church or association, before studying that course or enrolling your kids in that school, before doing that business or entering into that business partnership, before preaching to that person, before renting that apartment and so on. SEEKING and WAITING for the COUNSEL of GOD par time is very important to you to practice as a genuine Child of God in Christ in this World, if you must think, speak and live to PLEASE GOD in FAITH and in Christ in this World. And very importantly, if you MUST AVOID many pit holes of Satan and your human enemies against you par time and if you MUST ENJOY God's Power, Peace, Pace and provisions for your life in Christ in this World and if you must FULFILL your days and divine destiny in Christ in this World. It is unfortunate that many genuine Christians are thinking, speaking and living in HASTE making their choices and taking their decisions like the people of the World without consciously seeking and waiting for the COUNSEL (Will) of GOD, thereby FAILING and FALLING like the people of the World. So sad! The Bible reveals that if you truly BELIEVE, you will not be in HASTE like the people of the World because whether you like or not because you are a genuine Child of GOD, it is His COUNSEL (Will) that will stand or prevail in your life or nothing else will perfectly, peacefully and progressively work for you until you SUBMIT to His COUNSEL (Will) for you in Christ in this World.
