It is written, therefore I say unto you, take no thought for your life, what you shall eat, or what you shall drink; nor yet for your body, what you shall put on. IS NOT THE LIFE MORE THAN MEAT, AND THE BODY THAN RAIMENT? (Matthew 6:25)
This is to say, you as a genuine Child of God in Christ in this World must know and understand that your LIFE IN THIS WORLD is far more than thinking, working and living for WHAT you will EAT, WHAT you will DRINK and WHAT you will WEAR said Jesus. True! You must have a compelling or far reaching REASON or PURPOSE of living than thinking, living and working each day only on how to feed and cloth yourself and your family members. True! It is unfortunate that many Christians have not even set aside a day to think about their LIFE IN THIS WORLD to understand that their LIVES IN THIS WORLD is far more than running around daily to seek what they and their love ones will eat, will drink, will wear and so on. What a waste of their TIME ( LIFE) IN THIS WORLD? Now note that thinking, working and living only to seek what you and your love ones will eat, will drink and will wear is thinking and living like UNBELIEVERS said Jesus Christ, our ultimate role model for thinking and living to please God in this World. Jesus Christ never think, work and live for what He will eat, drink and wear. Never! In fact, said the disciples one to another, had any man brought Him ought to eat? Jesus said unto them, MY MEAT (FOOD) IS TO DO THE WILL OF HIM THAT SENT ME, AND TO FINISH HIS WORK. Hmm? What is greater in your life than thinking, working and living each day to feed yourself and your love ones? If is not a within or outside Church WORK (purpose or ministry) you have discovered in Christ by the help of the Holy Spirit to carryout with God and finish it before you exit this World, then you are thinking, working and living like an unbeliever said Jesus Christ. True! That is why Apostle Paul called out and say to Archippus, take heed to the MINISTRY (work) which you had RECEIVED in the lord, that you FULFIL it and that is why Himself said, brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and REACHING FORTH unto those things which are before, I PRESS TOWARD THE MARK FOR THE PRIZE OF THE HIGH CALLING OF GOD in Christ Jesus. What work have you received from the Lord since you gave your life to Christ and you are thinking, working and living each day pressing toward to fulfill it before you depart this World to receive it's prize now in this World and in Heaven someday? What is that WORK (ministry) you have received from the Lord that makes you wake up each day to think, work and live far above seeking what you will eat, drink and wear like the people of the World? I am not talking about the work given to you by any man, but given to you by God and you know it by revelation or a personal encounter you have with GOD. Don't be deceived because the Bible reveals that as HE (Jesus Christ) is, so are WE in this World. Therefore, if He got God's REST and BEST in this World and in Heaven by knowing, doing and finishing God's Work for Him in this World, then until you know and work each day to do and finish God's ordained WORK for you in Christ in this World, you will not enter and enjoy the REST and BEST of God for you par time in Christ in this World and you will not receive the REWARD ordained by God for you in Heaven for knowing, doing and finishing this Work in this World far above thinking, working and living for what you will eat, what you will drink and what you will wear like people of the World. True! Finally, always remember the Bible reveals that GOD will pass ALL your WORKS through FIRE, only your works ordained by God for you par time will not burn and will be rewarded by God now on Earth and at last in Heaven because the WHOLE DUTY of men in this World is to SERVE GOD and KEEP HIS COMMANDMENTS. True! (Matthew 6:24-34; 1 Timothy 6:6-12; John 4:33,34; Colossians 4:17; Philippians 3:13,14; 1 John 4:17; 1 Corinthians 2:9-16; 1 Corinthians 3:6-15; Ecclesiastes 12:13,14; John 17:1-5; 2 Timothy 4:5-8; 1 John 2:15-17)
