Today's Focus: The BLESSING (S) of Abraham is received by OBEDIENCE in Faith, not by PRAYING in Faith!
The Bible reveals in Romans 4:16-25 that anyone who receives the GRACE of God in Christ by FAITH automatically becomes the Child of Abraham, the father of Faith, in the sight and side of God. True!
Also, the Bible in Galatians 3:13,14 reveals to us that Jesus Christ took over and away our CURSE to enable us partake in the BLESSING (S) of Abraham, who is the father of Faith. Also true!
However, it will shock you that Abraham did not receive the BLESSING of his faith in God by PRAYING in Faith, but by been OBEDIENT in Faith to the commandment of God specifically to him. True!
Therefore,
1. Never be deceived, that you will receive the BLESSING (S) of Abraham by PRAYING in Faith, while you are DISOBEDIENT to the Word of God generally or that which is specifically given to you by the Holy Spirit. Never!
2. Never think that you will receive the BLESSING (S) of Abraham by PRAYING in Faith, while you are DISOBEDIENT to the Word of God generally or that are specifically given to you by the Holy Spirit. Never!
That is why I am sent today to timely inform you that you will not receive the BLESSING (S) of Abraham by PRAYING in Faith, but by being OBEDIENT in Faith to the instructions written in the Bible or given to you specifically by the Holy Spirit par time par your situation. True! (Genesis 12:1-3; Genesis 22:1-19; Romans 4).
This means that it is your level of OBEDIENCE in Faith to the Word of God par time that you will be specifically given by the Holy Spirit that will greatly determine the level of BLESSING (S) of Abraham you will enjoy in Christ par time in this World. True! (1 Corinthians 2:9-16; Romans 8:14; Galatians 5:18).
Don't be deceived, in the sight and side of God, REBELLION (disobedience) is as the SIN of WITCHCRAFT, and STUBBORNESS (hardheartedness) is as INIQUITY and IDOLATRY. True!
God through the mouth of Prophet Samuel revealed that and told King Saul that because you had REJECTED the WORD of the LORD, He had also rejected you from being king. (1 Samuel 15:23).
That will not be your portion in Jesus name. Amen! But, you must know that REJECTING God's Word to you specifically will attract Him REJECTING you receiving His approval and BLESSING (S) as well. Take note, take heed! (Hosea 4:6).
It is obvious from the above scriptural reference (1 Samuel 15:23) that:
1. Being DISOBEDIENT or REBELLIOUS rejecting the WORD of God is seen by Him as the SIN of WITCHCRAFT. True!
2. Being STUBBORNLY or HARDHEARTEDLY rejecting the WORD of God is seen by Him as INIQUITY and IDOLATRY. True!
Truth to be told, so many Christians are committing the SIN of WITCHCRAFT in the sight and side of God today unknowingly to them, because they are consciously or unconsciously disobeying and stubbornly rejecting or living contrary to the WORD of God for them each day. True!
This might just be the real reason why so many of the PRAYERS of today's Christians are not ANSWERED. True! (1 John 5:4,5).
Are you one of them? Because the condition for eating the "GOOD" of the land still remains thus:
If you be WILLING and OBEDIENT, you shall EAT the GOOD of the land: But if you REFUSE and REBEL, you shall be DEVOURED with the sword: for the mouth of the LORD hath spoken it. (Isaiah 1:19,20; 1 Peter 5:7-10).
You can obviously see why many of our PRAYERS are not answered. They are not said from a WILLING and OBEDIENT hearts or according to the revealed WILL of God to us, but from self driven will that we might consume the ANSWERS upon our LUSTS. (1 John 5:14,15; Romans 12:1,2; James 4:1-10; 1 John 2:15-17).
Always remember that to OBEY what God has instructed you to THINK, SPEAK or DO is far better in His sight and side than any form of SACRIFICE (selfless giving or service) you will get involve in or get done in or out of His house (Church). True! (1 Samuel 15:22).
What has God specifically told you to selflessly do or saying to you to sacrificially do concerning that situation of yours or for someone else?
Think about it and do something about it, where necessary and you will be better and best for it that you humbly OBEY Him at such a time. True!
Today's Focus from Scripture:
If they OBEY and SERVE Him, they shall spend their days in PROSPERITY, and their years in PLEASURES. But if they OBEY NOT, they shall PERISH by the sword, and they shall die without knowledge. (Job 36:11,12; Hosea 4:6).
Take note, take heed!
