Today's Focus: Whose VOICE are you HEARING and FOLLOWING in Christ in this World?
If you must be victorious and successful in your WALK (relationship) and WORK (responsibility) with God in Christ in this World:
1. You must know and understand that there are several VOICES contending for your attention, acceptance and followership. True!
2. You must know and understand the VOICE of the Holy Spirit among these VOICES and humbly, obediently and faithfully FOLLOW it daily. True!
That is why the Bible reveals thus:
For as many as are LED by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God. (Romans 8:14; Galatians 5:18).
The VOICES to watch out for and never to FOLLOW are:
1. The Voice of SELF.
That is, voice from your own human spirit that is not in oneness with the Holy Spirit.
The Bible reveals thus:
O LORD, I know that the WAY of man is NOT in himself: it is NOT in man that walks to DIRECT his steps. (Jeremiah 10:23; Proverbs 3:3-5; 1 Corinthians 6:17).
2. The Voice of SINNERS.
That is, voices from the human and demonic spirits of those who are not living right according to the Word of God in the Bible in this World.
The Bible counsels thus:
Blessed is the man that walks NOT in the counsel of the ungodly, NOR stands in the way of sinners, NOR sits in the seat of the scornful. But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law does he meditate day and night. And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that brings forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall NOT wither; and whatsoever he does shall prosper. (Psalm 1:1-3).
3. The Voice of STRANGERS.
That is, voices from the human or demonic spirits of them that disguise as saints, but are wolves in sheep clothing in the Body of Christ.
Jesus Christ said thus:
Verily, verily, I say unto you, he that enters NOT by the door into the sheepfold, but climbs up some other way, the same is a THIEF and a ROBBER. But he that enters in by the door is the shepherd of the sheep. To him the porter opens; and the sheep HEAR His VOICE: and He calls His own sheep by name, and leads them out. And when He puts forth His own sheep, He goes before them, and the sheep FOLLOW Him: for they know His VOICE. And a STRANGER will they not follow, but will flee from Him: for they know NOT the VOICE of STRANGERS. (John 10:1-5, 10; Matthew 7:13-27).
4. The Voice of SAINTS.
That is, voices from the human spirits of them who are saved in Christ, but have not yet learnt to hear and speak by the inspiration of the Holy Spirit.
The Bible reveals thus:
But there is a spirit in man: and the INSPIRATION of the Almighty GIVES them understanding. (Job 32:8; Matthew 16:21-23).
5.The Voice of SATAN.
That is, voice of the archenemy of our soul, success and satisfaction in Christ on Earth.
The Bible reveals thus:
You are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father you will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode NOT in the TRUTH, because there is NO truth in him. When he speaks a LIE, he SPEAKS of his own: for he is a LIAR, and the father of it. (John 8:44; 1 Peter 5:8).
And much more Voices.
Now, for you not to be a victim of the above stated dangerous and distracting VOICES in this World, you must learn to hear, obey and live by the VOICE of the Holy Spirit that is within you only and alone. This is to enable you become all God has DESIGNED you to be and to achieve all God has DESIGNATED you to do for him in Christ in this World. True!
That is why Apostle John counselled thus:
But the ANOINTING (Holy Spirit) which you have received of Him abides IN you, and you need NOT that any man teach you: but as the same ANOINTING (Holy Spirit) teaches you of ALL things, and is truth, and is NO lie, and even as it has TAUGHT you, you shall ABIDE in Him. (1 John 2:27).
Amongst others, the Holy Spirit will reveal to you thus:
But as it is written, EYE has not seen, nor EAR heard, neither have entered into the HEART of man, the things which God has PREPARED for them that LOVE Him. But God has revealed them unto us by His Spirit: for the Spirit searches ALL things, yes, the DEEP things of God. For what man knows the things of a man, save the SPIRIT of MAN which is in him? Even so the things of God knows no man, but the SPIRIT of GOD. Now we have received, NOT the spirit of the world, but the Spirit which is of God; that WE might KNOW the things that are freely GIVEN to us of God. (1 Corinthians 2:9-12; Romans 8:26-28; Ephesians 1:3-7).
Now know and note that:
1. The VOICE of the Holy Spirit is divine PPRINCIPLE driven in Christ to teach, counsel, instruct, correct, console and to direct Children of God in Christ in this World. True! (John 16:13-16).
2. The VOICE of the Holy Spirit is divine PEACE driven in Christ to teach, counsel, instruct, correct, console and to direct Children of God in Christ in this World. True! (James 3:17,18).
3. The VOICE of the Holy Spirit is divine PURPOSE driven in Christ to teach, counsel, instruct, correct, console and to direct Children of God in Christ in this World. True! (Romans 8:26-28).
4. The VOICE of the Holy Spirit is divine POWER driven in Christ to teach, counsel, instruct, correct, console and to direct Children of God in Christ in this World. True! (Hebrews 4:12).
5. The VOICE of the Holy Spirit is divine PERFORMANCE driven in Christ to teach, counsel, instruct, correct, console and to direct Children of God in Christ in this World. True! (Jeremiah 1:12; Luke 1:45).
6. The VOICE of the Holy Spirit is divine PROSPERITY driven in Christ to teach, counsel, instruct, correct, console and to direct Children of God in Christ in this World. True! (2 Corinthians 8:9; 3 John 1:2).
7. The VOICE of the Holy Spirit is divine PROGRESS driven in Christ to teach, counsel, instruct, correct, console and to direct Children of God in Christ in this World. True! (Isaiah 30:21).
8. The VOICE of the Holy Spirit is divine POSTERITY (prophecy) driven in Christ to teach, counsel, instruct, correct, console and to direct Children of God in Christ in this World. (Revelation 19:10).
Remember, we are WARNED to try all SPIRITS vis-à-vis all VOICES, whether they of God in Christ. (1 John 4:1-4).
Therefore,
1. Don't be DECEIVED by wrong voices. Please don't!
2. Don't be DETRACTED by wrong voices. Please don't!
3. Don't be DELAYED by wrong voices. Please don't!
4. Don't be DENIED (God's promises) by wrong voices. Please don't!
5. Don't be DESTROYED by wrong voices. Please don't!
Again, always keep in mind this wise counsel thus:
Be sober, be VIGILANT; because your ADVERSARY the devil, as a roaring lion, WALKS about (both as a spirit and in human clothing), SEEKING whom he may DEVOUR. (1 Peter 5:8; Ephesians 5:15-18; 1 John 5:15-21).
Let it not be YOU in Christ. Yes, not you, because HEARING and FOLLOWING daily the VOICE of the Holy Spirit of Christ that is within you, makes you a true believer and follower of Jesus Christ on Earth. True! Ponder!
Today's Focus from Scripture:
BEWARE lest any man SPOIL you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and NOT after Christ. For in Him dwells ALL the fulness of the Godhead bodily. And you are COMPLETE in Him, which is the Head of ALL principality and power. Colossians 2:8-10).
Take note, take heed!
