Today's Focus: Spotting OUT your SOFT spots (vis-à-vis SIN spots) and making them SPOTLESS before God, before is too late for you on Earth.
One of the sad approach to Christianity practice of this generation is that many do not sincerely and completely follow the "DOS" and "DON'TS"of God's Word in Christ as found in the Bible presented to us by those who have gone before us. Really sad and bad in the sight and side of God. True!
The Bible reveals to us thus:
But be you DOERS of the WORD, and not hearers only, DECEIVING your own selves. For if any be a hearer of the Word, and NOT a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass: For he beholds himself, and goes his way, and straightway forgets what manner of man he was. But whoso LOOKS into the perfect law of liberty, and CONTINUES therein, he being NOT a forgetful hearer, BUT a doer of the work, this man shall be BLESSED in his deed. (James 1:22-25).
However, the Bible counsels us thus:
PROVE all things; HOLD fast that which is good. ABSTAIN from all appearance of EVIL. And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your WHOLE spirit and soul and body be preserved BLAMELESS unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. (1 Thessalonians 5:21-23).
From the above scriptural reference, we can see clearly that God wants each of us spirit, soul and body BLAMELESS or SPOTLESS till the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but many do not take this counsel to heart seriously. True! (2 Timothy 3:16,17).
The above counsel should get a serious minded believer in Christ to promptly CHECK daily based on the Word of God, any area of his or her life in these three dimensions (spirit, soul and body) that draws him or her to any form of SIN in this World and CORRECT it line up with Word of God. True!
Now, the World calls such sin areas of your life, SOFT spots, but the Bible reveals that they are spots in your life, where SIN easily BESET or ENTICE you. Therefore, I calls them SIN spots instead. (Hebrews 12:1; James 1:14).
So, SIN spots are area of your life:
1. Where you are MENTALLY and MORALLY weak and you need God's help by His Holy Spirit to overcome in Christ in this World. True! (Romans 8:1-14).
2. Where you LUST easily and you need God's help by His Holy Spirit's empowerment to overcome in Christ in this World. True! (1 John 2:15-17; James 4:1-4).
3. Where you LACK contentment and godliness and you need God's help by His Holy Spirit's empowerment to overcome in Christ in this World. True! . (1 Timothy 6:6-12).
4. Where you are PRIDEFUL or BOASTFULand you need God's help by His Holy Spirit's empowerment to overcome in Christ in this World. True! (1 John 2:15-17).
5. Where you are easily ENTICED and you need God's help by His Holy Spirit's empowerment to overcome in Christ in this World. True! (James 1:12-15).
6. Where you COMPROMISE and FALL easily and you need God's help by His Holy Spirit's empowerment to overcome in Christ in this World. True! .
7. Where you have COMPASSION, but lack MODERATION and you need God's help by His Holy Spirit's empowerment to overcome in Christ in this World. True! (Philippians 4:5; Jude 1:22).
The Bible counsels us thus:
Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us LAY aside every WEIGHT, and the SIN which doth so EASILY beset us, and let us RUN with patience the RACE that is set before us, LOOKING unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God. (Hebrews 12:1,2; James 1:12-15).
We must always keep in mind that in the sight and side if God, these are the only three things that drives the World and we in Christ must be FREE from them to stay SPOTLESS before God in Christ in this World. These are according to 1 John 2:15-17:
1. Lust of the EYES.
Letting your eyes lead you, instead of the Holy Spirit of Christ that is in you in this World is a sin before God. True! (Romans 8:14).
2. Lust of FLESH.
Letting your FLESH to lead you, instead of the Holy Spirit of Christ that is in you in this World is a sin before God. True! (Galatians 5:16-26; Romans 8:14).
3. Pride of LIFE.
Letting your PRIDE to lead you, instead of the Holy Spirit of Christ that is in you in this World is a sin before God. True! (James 4:1-10; Romans 8:14).
Don't say, it is not possible to think, speak and live SPOTLESS or BLAMELESS in Christ in this World. Don't say so!
In the Old Testament (Covenant), Zacharias and Elizabeth was. The Bible reveals to us thus:
And they were both RIGHTEOUS before God, walking in all the commandments and ordinances of the Lord BLAMELESS. (Luke 1:6).
Therefore, if it is not possible in the New Testament (Covenant) in Christ as many claim, through which we are empowered than the Old Testament (Covenant) believers, Apostle Peter would not have counselled us thus:
As obedient children, NOT fashioning yourselves according to the former LUSTS in your ignorance: But as He which has called you is HOLY, so be YOU holy in ALL manner of conversation; Because it is written, Be you HOLY; for I am holy. And if you call on the Father, who without respect of persons judges according to every man's work, pass the time of your sojourning here in fear: (1 Peter 1:14-17; 2 Peter 3:14)
Think about it and do something about your SIN spots now and make them SPOTLESS before God, before it is too late for you on Earth. True! (Ephesians 5:15-18).
The Bible assures us thus:
This then is the message which we have heard of Him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and IN Him is no darkness at all. If we say that we have fellowship with Him, and walk IN darkness, we lie, and do NOT the truth: But if we walk IN the light, as He is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son CLEANSES us from ALL sin. If we say that we have NO sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is NOT in us. If we CONFESS our sins, He is faithful and just to FORGIVE us our sins, and to CLEANSE us from all unrighteousness. If we say that we have NOT sinned, we make Him a liar, and His Word is not in us. (John 1:5-10).
Why? Because:
Nevertheless we, according to His promise, LOOK for NEW Heavens and a NEW Earth, wherein dwells RIGHTEOUSNESS. Wherefore, beloved, seeing that you LOOK for such things, be diligent that YOU may be found of Him in peace, WITHOUT spot, and blameless. (2 Peter 3:13,14; 1 John 2:15-17; Revelation 21-22).
Don't be deceived!

Do ALL things without murmurings and disputings: That you may be BLAMELESS and HARMLESS, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom YOU shine as lights in the World; Holding forth the WORD of LIFE; that I may rejoice in the day of Christ, that I have NOT run in vain, neither laboured in vain. (Philippians 2:14-16; Colossians 3:16,17; Matthew 5:13-16; 1 Peter 2:9,10).
