Yesterday, I informed you that one of the hindrances to DIVINE DESTINY discovery and fulfilment in Christ in this World is DISCONNECTION from GOD either as a SINNER or as a SAINT. Read write-up (1) on this series for more.
For today, one of the hindrances to DIVINE DESTINY discovery and fulfilment in Christ in this World is ungodly and overdue FAMILY TIES.
The Bible reveals that for this cause shall a man LEAVE his father and mother and CLEAVE to his wife and they shall become one flesh. (Genesis 2:24).
Note the word, LEAVE and CLEAVE. This is strange to many married couples today, who only physically leave their parents but still tightly cleaving to them emotionally, spiritually and for some, financially. This is so for many parents to their married children as well. God is saying, let them go completely, so that He, GOD, their real Creator and Owner can make them whole (one flesh) as married couple, for the sake of their DIVINE DESTINY discovery and fulfilment in Christ in this World. Let go! (Genesis 2:15-18, 21-25; 1 Corinthians 6:13-20).
Again the Bible (Jesus Christ) reveals that a man's foes (enemies) shall be they of his OWN HOUSEHOLD. He that loves father or mother MORE THAN me is not worthy of me: and he that loves son or daughter MORE THAN me is not worthy of me. And he that takes not his cross and follow after me, is not worthy of me. He that finds his life shall lose it: and he that loses his life for my sake shall find it. (Matthew 10:36-39).
The Bible further reveals that God sets the SOLITARY (separation) in FAMILIES: He brings out those which are bound with chains: but the rebellious dwell in a dry land. (Psalm 68:6).
The real challenge now is that when God begins to create circumstances for SEPARATION for many people for the sake of their DIVINE DESTINY and because of FAMILY TIES, they refuse to LEAVE or they return back after LEAVING for just a while when it not yet time by God's game-plan for them to do so. That is a real hindrance to DIVINE DESTINY discovery and fulfilment in Christ in this World before God. (Matthew 10:34-39).
That is because many people do not understand what is spiritually and some time physically going on in their FAMILY against their DIVINE DESTINY discovery and fulfilment in Christ in this World. I learnt this the hard way. I pray you don't. Yes I pray for you on this.
It is not all that glisters in your FAMILY that is gold. Favour can be deceitful, even from FAMILY members. More that seventy percent (70%) of FAMILY TIES today hinders DIVINE DESTINY discovery and fulfilment in Christ on earth. This is either by spiritual WITCHCRAFT practice by bewitchment or by physical WITCHCRAFT practice of domination, control and manipulation. True! (Proverbs 31:30; Micah 7:5-10; Galatians 3:1-4).
Why it is good and great to WINE and DINE with your spouse, children and family members, careful study of the Bible reveals that one of the major HINDRANCES (apart from personal sin) to DIVINE DESTINY discovery and fulfilment in this World is the ungodly (spiritual and physical) roles played by family members to HINDER fellow family members from becoming WHO God desires them to become and from achieving WHAT God expected from their lives and existence in Christ on earth.
From Adam in Genesis to Jesus Christ in Matthew down to His Disciples in the Book of Acts, proofs abound to this truth am bringing to your notice today. Check it up for yourself and you will be amaze to discover what the Bible reveals are ungodly goes on in FAMILIES to hinder DIVINE DESTINY discovery and fulfilment of family members in the World? It will shock you as it did for me. What you will discover is still happening in FAMILIES unknowingly to many genuine CHILDREN OF GOD today in the World.
Therefore, if you truly desire to DISCOVER and FULFILL your DIVINE DESTINY in Christ in this World, then it is time to X-ray (examine) your FAMILY TIES prayerfully and watchfully to see if they are HELPING you to discover and fulfill your DIVINE DESTINY in Christ in this World or not. If not, urgently do something about it now. Ask God to teach you what He will want you to do about it. He will surely reveal to you an appropriate way to go about. Halleluyah!
It is unfortunate that while GOD instituted the FAMILY institution as a DIVINE DESTINY support base, Satan hijacked it right at the Garden of Eden from the beginning of the World to use it mainly to HINDER divine destiny discovery and fulfilment in the World unknowingly to man and for those who are not spiritually wise and smart enough to resist him steadfastly in faith. So sad! (1Peter 5:8-10).
Don't be sentimental about your DIVINE DESTINY discovery and fulfilment in Christ in this World. This is because your FIRST alliance must be to GOD, who FIRST thought of you, designed you, created you, sent you to earth (through your parents) and saved you in Christ in this World. He deserve the FIRST place and priority of your life and living on earth than any other, be it your sweet wife, lovely kids, nice parents or supportive siblings. Your Creator and God comes FIRST, then the assignment He has ask you to do for Him in Christ on earth.
Furthermore, because in your DIVINE DESTINY in Christ (which is a core reason why you where saved in Christ by God), lies your divine Peace, Power, Purpose, Potentials, Performance, Prosperity, Progress, Posterity (and satisfaction) amongst others in this World. More frightening, your DIVINE DESTINY discovery and fulfilment in Christ in this World will determine your eternal reward after you leave this World. (Ephesians 1:3,4; 1 Corinthians 3:6-15; Matthew 25:14-30; John 17:1-5; 2 Timothy 4:5-8; Revelation 22:12,13).
One of the last-days perilous time signs is that men (people) will be LOVERS of their own selves than of God and His things in CHRIST in the World. Don't be one of them. (2 Timothy 3:1,2; John 5:39-44).
Apostle Paul counsels godly spouses to live (in quote) as if they are not married for the TIME is SHORT. In other words, Paul is saying that godly spouses should live according to the right PRIORITY of God (and His work for them) FIRST, then any other person or thing in this World. (Matthew 6:33; 1 Corinthians 7:27-34; Micah 7:5).
I can assure you that, if the TIME of Christ second coming is SHORT during the Apostle's era, that there is even NO TIME now in our own era. True!
While Satan is TIME conscious of his SHORT TIME on earth before be cast into the lake of fire forever, many genuine CHILDREN OF GOD in this World are busy wasting their God-given, precious and priceless TIME on unpurposeful, unproductive and unprofitable ventures within Christ and outside Christ. So sad! (Revelation 12:7-12).
I have made up my mind not to be one of them. What about you? Think about it and make a life-long commitment now and you will not regret you did, because God is faithful and will not let you down. He has never let me down since I did. (1 Thessalonians 1:24).
One of the outstanding attitude of those who DISCOVERED and FULFILLED their DIVINE DESTINIES in this World in the Bible's days is that they wholeheartedly and intimately SEPARATED from those persons and sacrificially from places and practices that can HINDER their divine destiny discovery and fulfilment in this World, be it even FAMILY members. (Luke 18:18-30; 2 Corinthians 6:14-18; Romans 12:1,2).

Until you let that FAMILY TIES that GOD want YOU to let go go, He will not let go to YOU, what your DIVINE DESTINY in Christ needs to become a reality in this World. True!
