Previously, I informed you that one of the hindrances to DIVINE DESTINY discovery and fulfilment in Christ in this World is humanly NETWORKING with people by SELF leading instead of divinely CONNECTING with people by the SPIRIT of God leading in this World. Read write-up (13) for more.
For today, one of the hindrances to DIVINE DESTINY discovery and fulfilment in Christ in this World is being SELF-centered driven instead of being PEOPLE-centered driven before God.
JESUS CHRIST reveals that the first (greatest) commandment in the sight and side of God is to completely LOVE Him (God) and LOVE People thereafter as yourself. (Mark 12:28-31).
That means, if loving GOD is number one, loving PEOPLE is number two and loving YOURSELF is number three. If loving GOD is alphabet A, loving PEOPLE is alphabet B and loving YOURSELF is alphabet C. If loving GOD is step one, loving PEOPLE is step two and loving YOURSELF is step three in the sight and side of God.
In fact the Bible reveals that we are liars (deceiving ourselves), when you and I in Christ in this World say we Love GOD, who we do not see and hate PEOPLE, who we can see. It is a commandment from God that we who love Him, should love others also. (1 John 4:18-21).
God did not THINK of YOU, so that the manifestation of your DIVINE DESTINY (reason of existence) in Christ in this World will benefit you alone, but will benefit others even far more.
God did not DESIGN YOU, so that the manifestation of your DIVINE DESTINY (reason of existence) in Christ in this World will benefit you alone, but will benefit others even far more.
God did not CREATE YOU, so that the manifestation of your DIVINE DESTINY (reason of existence) in Christ in this World will benefit you alone, but will benefit others even far more.
God did not SEND YOU (to earth), so that the manifestation of your DIVINE DESTINY (reason of existence) in Christ in this World will benefit you alone, but will benefit others even far more.
God did not SAVE YOU (through Christ), so that the manifestation of your DIVINE DESTINY (reason of existence) in Christ in this World will benefit you alone, but will benefit others even far more.
Therefore, being a SELF-centered person, will hinder your DIVINE DESTINY discovery and fulfilment in Christ in this World. Yes, it will!
JESUS CHRIST needed not come down to earth for Himself. He needed not die for Himself, for Himself knew no sin or have no sin in Him. But because of the sins of you and I, He came, suffered, died and resurrected. Halleluyah! Do you get it! (1 Corinthians 5:21; John 14:30).
That is why the Bible reveals that we should ESTEEM others better than ourselves. This does not mean belittling ourselves, but positioning ourselves to be lifted and used by God to be a blessing to others, who are disadvantage than us in one way or the other. Halleluyah! (Philippians 2:3-11).
It means, humbly putting yourself in another person's shoe to see what they are going through, so that you can be able to understand their challenges and offer the appropriate COMFORT that they will need to survive and succeed in Christ in this World to the glory of God. Halleluyah!
Remember that God Himself resist the PROUD, but give grace to the HUMBLE. Do you get it! (James 4:6-10; 1 Peter 5:6-10).
The Bible reveals that for you and I to MAKE A DIFFERENCE in Christ in this World, we need to have COMPASSION towards PEOPLE. (Jude 1:22).
If you study the Bible carefully, you will discover that whenever JESUS CHRIST had compassion toward anyone or people, miracles happened. Compassion towards PEOPLE because of tgeir needs births divine MIRACLES (possibilities) for them (PEOPLE) because of the ccompassionate seeds down to meet the needs. (Matthew 14:14; Mark 1:41; Luke 7:12-16)
It takes only PEOPLE-centered (not SELF-centered) mindset to have a genuine COMPASSION toward people for Christ in this World.
It takes only PEOPLE-centered (not SELF-centered) mindset to make a genuine DIFFERENCE in people for Christ in this World.
It takes only PEOPLE-centered (not SELF-centered) mindset to DISCOVER and FULFIL DIVINE DESTINY (reason of existence) in Christ in this World. True!
This is because, the demand or sacrifice required to discover and fulfil DIVINE DESTINY in Christ in this World is huge. Therefore, one must be PEOPLE-centered driven to pursue it, if not, giving up is inevitable.
Apostle Paul reveals his PEOPLE-centered mindset in discovering and fulfilling his DIVINE DESTINY in Christ in this World when he says:
For I am in a strait between two, having a desire to depart (die), and to be with Christ; which is far better:
Nevertheless to abide in the flesh (to live) is MORE needful for YOU.
And having this confidence, I know that I shall abide (live) and continue with YOU all for YOUR furtherance and joy of faith;
That YOUR rejoicing may be MORE abundant in Jesus Christ for me by my coming to YOU again. (Philippians 1:23-26).
This WORLD OF GREED teaches you and I to think, speak and live in SELFISHNESS, but the WORD OF GOD teaches you and I to think, speak and live in SELFLESSNESS. (John 3:16; 1 John 3:16; Romans 12:1,2).
Always keep in mind that you are created for GOD first, PEOPLE second and YOURSELF third. (Mark 12:28-31; Matthew 7:12; Matthew 25:31-46).
Therefore, until you learn to be genuinely driven by the needs of PEOPLE over your own PERSONAL needs, you may just not be qualified enough in the sight and side of God to discover and fulfill your DIVINE DESTINY in Christ in this World. True!
