Previously, I informed you that being in RELIGION with GOD instead of being in RELATIONSHIP with Him hinders DIVINE DESTINY discovery and fulfilment in Christ in this World. Read write-up (11) of this series for more.
For today, one of the hindrances to DIVINE DESTINY discovery and fulfilment in Christ in this World is impatiently GIVING-IN to suffering instead of patiently ENDURING-IN suffering permitted by God.
Impatiently GIVING-IN to suffering talks of not allowing the trying of your FAITH to be completely (or perfectly) achieved in you by God in Christ in this World.
Patiently ENDURING-IN suffering talks of allowing the trying of your FAITH to be completely (or perfectly) achieved in you by God in Christ in this World.
The Bible reveals that:
My brethren (you and I in Christ in this World), count it all JOY when you fall into divers TEMPTATIONS (tests and trials with suffering); knowing this, that the TRYING of your FAITH works PATIENCE. But let patience have her PERFECT work, that you may be perfect and entire, WANTING nothing. (James 1:2-4).
Many genuine CHILDREN OF GOD detest SUFFERING, either because they are not taught its usefulness in Christ or because of the pain, struggle, reproach, etc that it brings. However, if you must discover and fulfill your DIVINE DESTINY in Christ in this World, SUFFERING permitted by God is unavoidable. Yes!
The Bible reveals in Romans 8:16-19 that:
The Spirit (of God) Himself bears witness with our (human) spirit, that WE (you and I in Christ in this World are the CHILDREN OF GOD: (Romans 8:16).
And if Children, then heirs; HEIRS OF GOD, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that WE (you and I) SUFFER with Him, that WE (you and I) may be also GLORIFIED together. (Romans 8:17).
For I reckon that the SUFFERINGS of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the GLORY which shall be revealed in us. (Romans 8:18; 2 Corinthians 4:8-18).
For the earnest EXPECTATION of the creature waits for the MANIFESTATION of the SONS OF GOD. Halleluyah! (Romans 8:19).
The above scriptures reveals a truth you must accept wholeheartedly and humbly, if you truly desire to discover and fulfil your DIVINE DESTINY (reason of existence) in Christ in this World and that is, SUFFERING in Christ comes before GLORY in Christ in this World. Let no one tell you otherwise, because it is clearly stated in Bible (the Word of God) as a divine truth. RRemember, only the truth sets free in Christ in this World.
Kindly, read Romans 5:3-5; 2 CCorinthians 12:7-11; Peter 1:6-9 to further see the critical place of SUFFERING to your WALK (relationship) with God and WORK (responsibility) with God in Christ in this World.
That is why Apostle Paul prayed that I may know Him and the power of His resurrection and the FELLOWSHIP of His SUFFERING, being made CONFORMABLE unto His death. (Philippians 3:10).
Divinely permitted SUFFERING in Christ in this World is an unavoidable spiritual FELLOWSHIP with Christ to the discovery and fulfilment of DIVINE DESTINY (reason of existence) in Christ in this World. True!
Many genuine CHILDREN OF GOD, who have discovered and fulfilled (or fulfilling) their DIVINE DESTINY in Christ in this World, would not have discovered, accepted and fulfilled (or fulfilling) theirs, if not the SUFFERING God permitted them to go through in Christ in this World. True!
Many genuine CHILDREN OF GOD will not be fully qualified and prepared for their DIVINE DESTINY discovery and fulfilment in Christ in this World, if not the SUFFERING God permitted them to go through in CHRIST in this World.
Even JESUS CHRIST Himself SUFFERED to learn OBEDIENCE to God and to be made PERFECT by God, so that the can BECOME tge Author of Eternal Salvation (which is, His DIVINE DESTINY in God in this World) unto ALL them (including you and I) that obey Him (in this World). (Hebrews 5:8,9; Hebrews 12:1-3).
If you truly desire to discover and fulfil your DIVINE DESTINY (reason of existence) in Christ in this World, you must CHANGE your MINDSET towards SUFFERING and you must learn to patiently ENDURE divinely permitted SUFFERING for you in Christ in this World. True!
Apostle Paul counselled Timothy (today, you and I) ...but watch you in ALL things, ENDURE AFFLICTIONS (sufferings), do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of your MINISTRY (divine destiny gifts and calling manifestation in Christ in this World). (2 Timothy 4:5-8; Romans 11:29).
SUFFERING has being one of God's way of proving (testing) and preparing His people for their DIVINE DESTINY discovery and fulfilment in this World.
In Deuteronomy 8:2,3, the Bible reveals that you shall remember ALL the way which the Lord your God led you these forty years in the wilderness, to HUMBLE you and to PROVE you, to KNOW what was in thine heart, whether you would KEEP His commandments or not. And He (God) HUMBLED you and SUFFERED you to HUNGER and fed you with manna, which you knew not, neither did your fathers know, that he might make you know that man does not LIVE by bread only, but by every WORD that proceeds out of the MOUTH OF THE LORD do man live. Hmmm! (Luke 4:1-4).
Do you sincerely and truly want to discover (from the mouth of the Lord) and fulfil your DIVINE DESTINY (reason of existence) in Christ in this World? Then learn to patiently ENDURE God's permitted SUFFERINGS in your life par time. It will mould and make you fit to receive and respond positively to the revealing of your DIVINE DESTINY to you when you receive it by revelation by the SPIRIT OF GOD within you. Also, God's permitted SUFFERING will mould and make you become the qualified and prepared PERSON of your DIVINE DESTINY in Christ in this World. True! (1 Corinthians 2:9-14).
After your genuine salvation's (born-again) experience through Christ in this World, there is a PROVING or APPROVAL level before God, you need to attain for God to give you access to the revelational KNOWLEDGE of your DIVINE DESTINY (reason of existence) in Christ in this World.
God does not just give you His divine SECRETS (which one of them, is your DIVINE DESTINY in Christ in this World) because you are born-again through His Son (Jesus Christ) or because you are His CHILD in Christ in this World. No and Never! There must be a level of His PROVING (testing) and PREPARATION (maturity), for Him to do that. There must be a level of your WALK (relationship) with Him in Christ in this World for Him to do that - introduce you to your WORK (responsibility) with Him in Christ in tgis World
Always keep in mind that with GOD, genuine CHRISTIANITY in this World is RELATIONSHIP driven, not RELIGION driven. That I informed you in write-up (12) in this series. I guess you still remember. (John 4:23,24).
Sometimes PROVING yourself before GOD is a wise and smart thing to do yourself. This is why Apostle Paul counselled Timothy (you and I today) that he should STUDY to show himself APPROVED unto GOD, a Workman that needs not to be ASHAMED, rightly diving the Word of truth. (2 Timothy 2:15).
Are you PROVING or PREPARING yourself rightly before GOD by the way you think, speak and live in Christ in this World?
By the way you have been thinking, speaking and living since you genuinely gave your life to God through JESUS CHRIST in this World, do you think you are qualified enough by biblically standard of thinking, speaking and living to worth access to divine SECRETS (which includes, the knowledge of DIVINE DESTINY discovery and fulfilment in Christ in this World)? (Romans 12:1,2)
If not so, maybe the SUFFERING you are currently going throughin Christ is a divine wake-up call to get you PROVEN and PREPARE to seek righteousness, which your DIVINE DESTINY discovery and fulfilment in Christ in this World is one. Halleluyah! (Hebrews 12:1-14).
Yes, it is a RIGHTEOUS thing before GOD to desire and seek to discover and fulfil your DIVINE DESTINY (reason of existence) in Christ in this World. It is indeed a righteous move before God in this World, where there are so much DISTRACTIONS and DECEITS to conquer and win.
However, in your divinely permitted SUFFERING, remember in EVERY thing (your suffering inclusive) GIVE thanks (to God): for this is the WILL OF GOD in Christ Jesus concerning you (in Christ in this World). (1 Thessalonians 5:18).
Again be CAREFUL for nothing; but in EVERY thing by PRAYER and supplication with THANKSGIVING let your requests (including your current suffering) be made known unto God. And the PEACE OF GOD, which passes ALL understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:6,7; 1 Peter 5:8-10).
