TRANSGRESSION against God attracts Demonic attachment in terms of oppression, obsession and possession. DEMONIC attachment is an unrighteousness attachment. An UNRIGHTEOUSNESS attachment is a sin attachment. A SIN attachment is a scarcity, struggle, suffering, sorrow and spiritual and physical DEATH attachment if not timely dealt with through Christ. Take note, take heed! (1 John 5:16-21; James 1:12-15).
King David pleading for mercy and forgiveness after having sexual intercourse with another man's wife and killing him in the process to hide his evil deed, said to God, in SIN did my mother conceive me. (Psalm 51).
Many genuine Christians are ignorant of the fact that though they are born again, their INIQUITIES (inherited sin nature from Adam and family lineages) still runs in their flesh. True!
Many Christians do not understand the INIQUITIES (inherited sin nature from Adam and family lineages) in them, not to talk of dealing with them with the Word of God and Blood of Jesus Christ. It is one of the primary reasons you find lots of genuinely born again Christians struggling with various types of sinful habits and attitudes in their life, which is keeping them far from the promises and purposes of God in Christ for them. So sad!
Many genuine Christians do not know that it is only their spirit that is spiritually BORN AGAIN (recreated or generated by God in Christ by the Holy Spirit) at the moment of salvation. That only their spirit received a NEW NATURE from God in Christ. That their Body still retains its inherited OLD NATURE of sin with them. True!
That is why the Bible says if the foundation be destroyed, what can the RIGHTEOUS do? (Psalm 11:3).
The answer is to use the BLOOD of Jesus Christ and the WORD of reconciliation of God in Jesus Christ, who is the new and righteous FOUNDATION of God for us, to reconcile your unrighteous foundation to conform to that of Christ. That is, seeking FIRST the Kingdom of God (presence and power of the HOLY SPIRIT) and His RIGHTEOUSNESS (purity), so that ALL divine provisions for us will be added unto us, to meet our needs par day par our situation. True! (Revelation 12:11; 2 Corinthians 5:17-21; Matthew 6:33, 34; Matthew 6:9,10).
Jesus Christ said if He cast out devils or demons by the Spirit of God, the Kingdom of God (the presence and power of the Holy Spirit) is come unto you. (Matthew 12:28).
The presence and power of the HOLY SPIRIT is the RIGHTEOUSNESS of Christ you need to receive within and upon you par time par your situation, to get whatsoever (provision) you need from God, the Father, in Christ par time par your situation in this World. True! (Romans 14:17; Philippians 1:19).
Now, know and note that it is NOT about the PREVIOUS demonic covenant of sin and death entered with Satan by your forefathers or parents that truly matters, but the CURRENT divine Covenant of righteousness and life you have entered with God in Christ, that matters.True!
Therefore, believe and FOCUS on your current COVENANT with God in Christ and you will be better for it! (Romans 8:1,2; Ezekiel 18; Hebrews 8:1-5; Galatians 3:13,14).
Today's Focus from Scripture:
Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a CURSE for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangs on a tree: That the BLESSING of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might RECEIVE the promise of the SPIRIT through faith. (Galatians 3:13,14; 2 Corinthians 3:17; 2 Corinthians 3:6:15).
From the above scriptural reference is the receiving of the promise of the SPIRIT through FAITH that allows the BLESSING of Abraham in Christ to come on us. Compare this with Matthew 6:33 and you get understanding and position yourself for the blessing by FIRST seeking the presence and power of the HOLY SPIRIT and His RIGHTEOUSNESS as requested by Jesus Christ.
