Today's Focus: How to have DIVINE kind of SUCCESS in Christ in this World!
Divine SUCCESS in Christ in this World is called good SUCCESS in the Bible. It is good SUCCESS because it a success that comes from Lord after you have mediated, spoken and carried out God's Word or instruction. it is a good SUCCESS because it is a success from the blessing of the Lord that makes rich and add no SORROW with it. Halleluyah! (Proverbs 10:22).
There is only one way to have this kind of SUCCESS (good SUCCESS) in Christ in this World. And this is revealed in Joshua 1:8 thus:
This book of the law shall NOT depart out of YOUR mouth; but YOU shall meditate therein day and night, that YOU may observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then YOU shall make YOUR way prosperous, and then YOU shall have good SUCCESS.
The above scripture verse reveals that after reading or hearing the WORD or INSTRUCTION of God:
1. You have to SPEAK it out.
2. You have to THINK it within.
3. You have to DO or CARRY it out, to make your way prosperous and then have good SUCCESS. True!
Now, know and note, divine SUCCESS begins with either a specific Word, Instruction oor Commandment from the Lord.
So what specific Word, instruction or commandment has the Lord given you concerning your situation?
Are you speaking it out? Are you meditating it within? Are you doing or carrying it out?
Truth to be told friend, you have a critical ROLE to play in making your way prosperous and then have good SUCCESS in Christ in this World. Some will say Its an Old Testament (Covenant) principle. Okay, let read Romans 10:8-11 and 2 Corinthians 4:13 thus:
But what said it? The WORD is near you, even in YOUR mouth, and in YOUR heart: that is, the WORD of FAITH, which we preach; That if YOU shall confess with YOUR mouth the Lord Jesus, and shall believe in your heart that God has raised him from the dead, YOU shalt be saved. For with the heart man believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. We having THE SAME spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak.
Do you get it?
The place of you meditating, speaking and doing the Word or instruction of God par time par situation, especially as instructed by the Holy Spirit cannot be overemphasized, because is very critical to you having your good SUCCESS in Christ in this World, even in this New Testament (Covenant) Era of Christ. True!
In fact, Apostle James counselled that we deceive ourselves, when we HEAR the Word of God only, without taking steps of faith further to DO it. (James 1:22-25).
Again, Apostle Paul counselled that we THINK on the Word of God we have learnt, received, heard and seen and the PEACE of God will be with us. (Philippians 4:8,9; Romans 12:1,2).
Jesus Christ said that by the Word of our mouth, we are either JUSTIFIED or CONDEMNED. (Matthew 12:34-37).
Friend, the truth to be told:
1. You have to consciously and consistently THINK the WORD of God you have learnt, received, heard and seen in other people's lives for you to make your way prosperous and then have good SUCCESS in Christ in this World. Take note, take heed!
2. You have to consciously and consistently SPEAK the WORD of God you have learnt, received, heard and seen in other people's lives for you to make your way prosperous aand then have good SUCCESS in Christ in this World. Take note, take heed!
3. You have to consciously and consistently DO or CARRY OUT the WORD of God you have learnt, received, heard and seen in other people's lives for you to make your way prosperous aand then have good SUCCESS in Christ in this World. Take note, take heed!
Today's Focus from Scripture:
BLESSED is the man that walks NOT in the counsel of the ungodly, NOR stands in the way of sinners, NOR sits in the seat of the scornful. But his DELIGHT is in the law of the LORD; and in His law does he MEDITATE day and night. And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that brings forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall NOT wither; and whatsoever he does shall PROSPER. (Psalm 1:1-3; Psalm 19:7-14).
