Today's Focus: Understanding the FIRST and foremost PROMISE of GOD in Christ, you need to SEEK for and be FILLED and FULL with, to OVERCOME and SUCCEED in this World!
The one and only PROMISE of GOD in Christ of the NEW Testament (Covenant) is the GIFT of the HOLY SPIRIT (the Spirit of Jesus Christ after His resurrection) in each and everyone of us, who genuinely became born again in this World through believing Jesus Christ's suffering, death, burial and resurrection on our behalf and confessing Him as our personal Lord and Saviour in this World. True!
Now, know and note that it is in this one and only PROMISE (the person of Holy Spirit of Christ in us) by divine design, packaged all other PROMISES of GOD in Christ to us to overcome and succeed on Earth. That is, the fruit of the Spirit, gifts of the Spirit, power, riches, wisdom, strength, honour, glory, blessing, etc. True! (Galatians 5:16-26; 1 Corinthians 12; Revelation 5:12).
The Bible reveals that those of the Old Testament (Covenant) did not receive the PROMISE of the person of the HOLY SPIRIT of Christ within them thus:
And these ALL, having obtained a good report through faith, received NOT the PROMISE: God having provided some better things for us, that they without us should not be made perfect. (Hebrews 11:39,40).
However, the Bible reveals that WE do receive the PROMISE of the person of the HOLY SPIRIT of Christ within us through FAITH in the suffering, death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ on our behalf thus:
Christ has REDEEMED us from the CURSE of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hanged on a tree: That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the PROMISE of the SPIRIT through FAITH. (Galatians 3:13,14; Romans 4:16).
That is why the Bible says that the New Testament (Covenant) in Christ is BETTER because we receive the PROMISE of the person of the HOLY SPIRIT of Christ within each of us, which comes with better PROMISES as well. True!
The Bible reveals to us thus:
But now had He (Jesus Christ) obtained a more excellent ministry, by how much also He is the mediator of a better COVENANT, which was established upon better PROMISES. (Hebrews 8:6).
Therefore, the Bible says thus:
Even the MYSTERY (hidden secret) which has been hid from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to his saints: To whom God would make known what is the RICHES of the GLORY of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is CHRIST in YOU, the HOPE of GLORY (on Earth now and in Heaven someday). (Colossians 1:26, 27).
Now, the GOOD NEWS is, Jesus Christ informed us in the Bible that our heavenly Father is just and faithful than our earthly father to give us the PROMISE of the HOLY SPIRIT, if we do ask it from Him. True!
The Bible reveals thus:
And I say unto you, ASK, and it shall be given you; SEEK, and ye shall find; KNOCK, and it shall be opened unto you. For every one that asks receives; and he that seeks finds; and to him that knocks it shall be opened. If a son shall ASK bread of any of you that is a father, will he give him a stone? or if he ASK a fish, will he for a fish give him a serpent? Or if he shall ASK an egg, will he offer him a scorpion? If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: HOW much more shall your heavenly FATHER give the HOLY SPIRIT to them that ASK Him? (Luke 11:9-13).
Do you get it now? Halleluyah, God the Father is so GOOD.
Therefore, it is unfortunate that many genuine Christians today do ignorantly ASK for things FIRST instead of following after the counsel of Jesus Christ that instructes us to SEEK FIRST the KINGDOM of GOD, which is to seek FIRST the presence and power of the HOLY SPIRIT and His RIGHTEOUSNESS and all these will be ADDED unto us. So unfortunate! (Matthew 6:33).
That is why He (Jesus Christ) taught us to PRAY (ask) this way:
After this manner therefore PRAY you: Our Father which art in heaven, hallowed be your name. Thy KINGDOM (the presence and power of the HOLY SPIRIT) come. Your WILL be done in Earth, as it is in Heaven. (Matthew 6:9,10).
Don't be deceived, the HOLY SPIRIT of Christ IN, UPON and THROUGH each of us in Christ in this World, comes to Earth to do the WILL of GOD in, upon and through in Christ in this World only. Nothing more, nothing less. True!
The Bible reveals to us thus:
Wherefore, my beloved, as you have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, WORK OUT your own salvation with fear and trembling. For it is GOD which WORKS in you both to WILL and to DO of His good pleasure (plan and purpose). (Philippians 2:12,13; Romans 8:26-30; Romans 12:1,2; Ephesians 5:15-18).
That is why Jesus Christ said that my food is to DO the WILL of Him that sent me and to FINISH His WORK. (John 4:34; John 9:4,5).
Remember, the Bible reveals to us that as HE is, so are WE in this World. True! (1 John 4:17).
Now, in light of all that have being said above, Apostle Paul boldy declared thus:
For I KNOW that this shall TURN to my salvation through your PRAYER, and the SUPPLY of the SPIRIT of Jesus Christ. (Philippians 1:19; Daniel 11:32).
I CAN DO ALL things through Christ which strengthens me. But my God shall supply ALL your NEED according to His RICHES in glory by Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:13,19).
I am so excited right now being a genuine Child of God in Christ in this World. What about you?
Seek FIRST each day, more of the PRESENCE and POWER of the HOLY SPIRIT of Christ in, upon and through you and your journey from Earth to Heaven in this World will be peacefully, purposefully, powerfully and productively driven in Christ each day to PLEASE God the Father, not only to your benefit, but also to the benefit of the World. True!
Therefore, the Bible counsels us thus:
See then that you WALK circumspectly (carefully), NOT as fools, BUT as wise, REDEEMING the time, because the days are evil. Wherefore be you NOT unwise, but UNDERSTANDING what the WILL of the Lord is. And be NOT drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be FILLED with the SPIRIT. (Ephesians 5:15-18; Hebrews 12:1-14; 1 John 5:16-21; 1 John 2:15-17).
We must seek and pray FIRST to be FILLED with the HOLY SPIRIT until our spirit, soul and body be FULL and OVERFLOW of His presence and power, to not only KNOW the WILL of GOD, but to DO His WILL for us in Christ par time par our situation and lifetime in this World. Yes, you heard me right, overflow! (1 Thessalonians 5:16-24).
It is time to get DRUNK in the HOLY SPIRIT of Christ, not in wine and things of this lustful, prideful, wasting and passing World. (1 John 2:15-17).
Jesus Christ was FILLED and FULL of the HOLY SPIRIT. Stephen was FILLED and FULL and many others. You and I must seek and pray passionately and persistently until we are FILLED and FULL of His presence and power as well. That is the only way out for us to OVERCOME and SUCCEED in Christ in this World. True! (Luke 4:1; Acts 6:1-5).
Like many genuine Christians today ask for other things first, the disciples of Jesus Christ requested when the restoration of the kingdom of Israel will be first, but He focus them on receiving the KINGDOM of GOD (the presence and power of His Holy Spirit) FIRST thus:
Until the day in which He was taken up, after that He through the Holy Ghost had given commandments unto the apostles whom He had chosen: To whom also He showed Himself alive after His passion by many infallible proofs, being seen of them forty days, and speaking of the things pertaining to the KINGDOM of GOD: And, being assembled together with them, COMMANDED them that they should NOT depart from Jerusalem, but WAIT for the PROMISE of the Father, which, said He, you have heard of me. For John truly baptized with water; but you shall be BAPTIZED with the HOLY GHOST not many days hence. When they therefore were come together, they ASKED of Him, saying, Lord, will you at this time restore again the kingdom to Israel? And He said unto them, It is not for you to know the times or the seasons, which the Father has put in His own power. But you shall receive POWER, after that the HOLY GHOST is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth. (Acts 1:2-8).
Even our Lord Jesus Christ was FILLED and FULL of the HOLY SPIRIT before He was led to be tested and tried by Satan and was able to over come Him gloriously. (Luke 4:1-21).
Again, even our Lord Jesus Christ could NOT receive or do anything until the Father FILLED and FULL Him up with the presence and power of the HOLY SPIRIT thus:
How God ANOINTED Jesus of Nazareth with the HOLY GHOST and with POWER: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him. (Acts 10:38).
And the Bible reveals to us that as HE is, so are WE in this World. (1 John 4:17).
Now, know and note that the HOLY SPIRIT of Christ within and upon us is:
1. To SHOW and GUIDE us to all truth in Christ in this World. True! (John :1613-15).
2. To TEACH us all things in Christ in this World. (1 John 2:27).
3. To HELP us pray according to the Will of God for us in Christ in this World. (Romans 8:26-30; 1 John 5:14,15).
4. To LEAD us aright in Christ in this World. True! (Romans 8:14; Galatians 5:18).
5. To EMPOWER us in Christ to overcome sin in this World. (Romans 8:9-13).
6. To KNOW those things that are prepared and freely given to us by God in Christ in this World. (1 Corinthians 2:9-15).
7. To DO the Will of the Father for us in Christ par time par our situation and lifetime in this World. True! (Philippians 2:12,13; Ephesians 2:8-10).
8. And so on and so forth.
Seek the Holy Spirit of Christ's PRESENCE today by living consciously and consistently in HOLINESS by present your body as a living sacrifice and renewing and aligning your mind according to the Word, Ways and Will of God for you in Christ in this World. (Romans 12:1,2, 1 Peter 1:14-17; James 4:17).
Seek the Holy Spirit of Christ's POWER today by living consciously and consistently a PRAYERFUL LIFE (couple with fasting as instructed by the Holy Spirit) according to the Word, Ways and Will of God for you in Christ in this World. (Matthew 17:14-21; Acts 2:1-4).
Remember, the Holy Spirit of Christ is HOLY and lives from within you in this World. Therefore,
1. You can GRIEVE Him with your conscious and consistent SIN against the Word, Ways and Will of God for you in Christ in this World. (Ephesians 4:20-32).
2. You can QUENCH Him with your conscious and consistent STUBBORNNESS, DISOBEDIENCE and REBELLION against His mission and operations within, upon and through your life in Christ in this World. True! (1 Thessalonians 5:19).
Value His presence and power within, upon and through your life, for it is a priceless and precious TREASURE of GOD that is in you in Christ in this World, which is to set you at an ADVANTAGE and ADVANCEMENT over the people of the World and to empower you to RECONCILE and RESTORE them back to God. True! (2 Corinthians 5:17-21).
That is why Apostle Paul said to us thus:
But WE have this TREASURE in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the POWER may be of God, and NOT of us. (2 Corinthians 4:7; Ephesians 3:20).
Now, know and note that YOU are BLESSED by God the Father already in CHRIST in the heavenly places. True!
The Holy Spirit revealed to us thus:
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has BLESSED us with ALL SPIRITUAL BLESSINGS in heavenly places in CHRIST: According as He has CHOSEN us in Him before the foundation of the World, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love: Having PREDESTINATED us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His Will. (Ephesians 1:3-5; Ephesians 2:8-10; Romans 8:26-30).
Yes, GOD the Father has already BLESSED you with ALL spiritual BLESSINGS in the heavenly places in CHRIST JESUS according as He has you CHOSEN in Him before the foundation of the World. True!
However, you need a close WALK (relationship) and WORK (partnership) with the HOLY SPIRIT of Christ that is within you in this World:
1. To KNOW your divinely, uniquely, specifically and feely given spiritual BLESSINGS in Christ in the heavenly places and
2. To KNOW how to supernaturally and smartly work it out in the earthly places in this World, where you can receive and enjoy them as physical BLESSINGS in this World with easy. True!
The Bible reveals to us thus:
But as it is written, EYES hath not seen, nor EAR heard, neither have entered into the HEART of man, the THINGS which God has PREPARED for them that LOVE Him. But God has REVEALED them unto US by His Spirit: for the SPIRIT searches ALL things, yes, the deep things of God. For what man knows the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? Even so the things of God knows no man, but the Spirit of God. Now we have RECEIVED, not the spirit of the world, but the SPIRIT which is of GOD; that WE might KNOW the THINGS that are freely GIVEN to us of God. (1 Corinthians 2:9-12; Romans 8:14, 26-30; Galatians 5:18).
Don't be deceived, the Bible reveals to us that it is:
The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the COMMUNION of the Holy Ghost, be with you all. Amen. (2 Corinthians 13:14; 1 John 2:27).
Take note, take heed!
We are in NEW day of divine GRACE (of the advantageous support and supply of the Holy Spirit of Christ in, upon and through believers in Christ in this World). True! (Philippians 1:19; Hebrews 10:19-25; Hebrews 4:14-16).
Think about it and do something urgentlly now to IMPROVE your level of COMMUNION (relationship, fellowship and partnership) with the HOLY SPIRIT of Christ that is within you in Christ in this World. This is because, in it lies the secret to your VICYORY and SUCCESS in Christ in this World. True! (2 Corinthians 13:14; 1 Corinthians 2:9-16; Romans 8:9-30; Galatians 5:16-26).
Always remember, GREATER is HE that is in YOU, than he that is in them in the World. True! (1 John 4:1-4).

Then He answered and spake unto me, saying, this is the Word of the LORD unto Zerubbabel, saying, NOT by might, NOR by power, BUT by MY SPIRIT, said the LORD of hosts. Who art you, O great mountain before Zerubbabel? You shal become a plain: and he shall bring forth the headstone thereof with shoutings, crying, GRACE, grace unto it. (Zechariah 4:6,7; 2 Corinthians 3:17; Hebrews 4:14-16).
