THE TRUTH TO BE TOLD DAILY DEVOTIONAL!
Today's Focus: It is TIME to RESPOND to your God-given ABILITIES in this World says the Lord!
Personally, I define RESPONSIBILITY as one's willing RESPONSE with his or her given or gotten ABILITY to get what he or she must accomplish or do within an appropriate or record time. True!
In the light of the above, one's willing RESPONSE with his or her given or gotten ABILITIES can be:
1. Proactive response.
That is, taking the initiative. True!
2. Reactive response.
That is, taking directive. True!
Now, know and note that your ABILITY can be:
1. Natural Ability.
That is, naturally learnt or GOTTEN by natural birth or several forms of schooling, training and exposure.
Every human being has one or more natural abilities given to him or her by God to use to survive and succeed in life. True!
2. Supernatural Ability.
That is, supernaturally received or GIVEN by new (supernatural) birth in Christ and impartation by spiritual authorities.
Only genuine Christians are given or have supernatural abilities by the Holy Spirit of Christ that is within each one of us in this World to overcome and fulfill our God-ordained life purpose or assignment in Christ for us on Earth. True! (Ephesians 2:8-10; 1 Corinthians 12; Ephesians 4:7-11).
This means that ABILITY can be:
1. Born with naturally and supernaturally. (Jeremiah 1:5-10).
2. Received directly and supernaturally from God after being naturally given birth to on the Earth. (Acts 2:1-4; Colossians 4:17).
3. Transfer or Imparted with by spiritual authority. (2 Timothy 1:7-9).
4. Learnt or develop by schooling, training and exposure (vis-à-vis observation) naturally and supernaturally by the Holy Spirit. (2 Timothy 2:15; 1 John 2:27).
Now, take note of this, that without the appropriate natural and supernatural ABILITIES, you will not be able to RESPOND to your God given life purpose or assignment appropriately in Christ in this World. True!
Therefore, you must:
1. DESIRE to know and understand your natural and supernatural God-given ABILITIES from the Holy Spirit that is within you.
2. DISCOVER your natural and supernatural God-given ABILITIES with the help of the Holy Spirit that is within you.
3. DEVELOP your natural and supernatural God-given ABILITIES with the guidance of the Holy Spirit that is within you.
4. DELIVER your natural and supernatural ABILITIES with the empowerment of the Holy Spirit that is within you.
5. DERIVE your natural and supernatural BENEFITS of your ABILITIES by the favour of the Holy Spirit that is within you.
Therefore, Jesus Christ commanded His disciples thus:
And, being assembled together with them, commanded them that they should NOT depart from Jerusalem, but WAIT for the promise of the Father, which, said He, you have heard of me. For John truly baptized with water; but you shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost not many days hence. When they therefore were come together, they asked of him, saying, Lord, will you at this time restore again the kingdom to Israel? And He said unto them, It is not for you to know the times or the seasons, which the Father hath put in his own power. But you shall RECEIVE power, after that the HOLY GHOST is come upon you: and you shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth. (Acts 1:4-8).
Jesus Christ instructed His disciples to wait until they have supernaturally receive ABILITY in terms of POWER of the Holy Spirit, in order for them to be a true witness of Him in the World. Same instruction goes for you and I in Christ today. True!
Unfortunately, many genuine Christians do not obey this commandment of Jesus Christ, thus the powerlessness of many genuine followers of Jesus Christ in the World today. True, but so sad!
God directed Moses thus:
And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying, SEE, I have called by name Bezaleel the son of Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah: And I have FILLED him with the SPIRIT of GOD, in wisdom, and in understanding, and in knowledge, and in all manner of workmanship, To devise cunning works, to work in gold, and in silver, and in brass, And in cutting of stones, to set them, and in carving of timber, to work in all manner of workmanship. And I, behold, I have GIVEN with him Aholiab, the son of Ahisamach, of the tribe of Dan: and in the hearts of all that are wise hearted I have put wisdom, that they may make all that I have commanded you. (Exodus 31:1-6).
Don't be in doubt, God has already naturally and supernaturally gifted you with all the necessary ABILITIES you need to survive and succeed on His reason of sending you to Earth and saving you in Christ in this World. True!
Now know and note that your God-given ABILITIES may need to be horned, developed or exposed to schooling, practical training and most times, coaching or mentorship, over time for you to become:
1. A Skilled personnel.
2. An Expert.
3. A Professional in the World.
This is very important to note that it is TIME says the Lord for ALL His genuine Children in Christ in this World to know, develop and take their natural and supernatural God-given ABILITIES serious and RESPOND (release)to them to FULFILL their individual and collective divine purposes or assignments given to them in Christ, to the amazement of the World for His glory. True! (Ephesians 2:8-10; Matthew 5:13-16; Ephesians 5:15-18).
This was the success storyline of Daniel when he responded to his God-given ABILITY:
And such as do wickedly against the covenant shall he corrupt by flatteries: BUT the people that do KNOW their God shall be STRONG, and DO exploits. (Daniel 11:32).
Remember, God had earlier GIVEN him and his accompanies ABILITIES thus:
As for these four children, God GAVE them knowledge and skill in all learning and wisdom: and Daniel had understanding in all visions and dreams. Now at the end of the days that the king had said he should bring them in, then the prince of the eunuchs brought them in before Nebuchadnezzar. And the king communed with them; and among them all was FOUND none like Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah: therefore stood they before the king. And in ALL matters of wisdom and understanding, that the king inquired of them, he found them TEN TIMES better than all the magicians and astrologers that were in all his realm. (Daniel 1:17-20).
Again, I repeat, It is TIME says the Lord for each of us in Christ in this World to take our individual and collective WALK (relationship) and WORK (responsibility) with Him (God) serious and take heed of Apostle Paul's counsel in 1 Corinthians 3:6-15 now. For the TIME is short and His REWARD is with Him to GIVE to every man and woman according his or her work on Earth. True! (Ephesians 2:5-10; Ephesians 5:15-18; John 17:1-5; 2 Timothy 4:5-8; Revelation 22:11-15).
Now know and note that God does not change His mind concerning His calling and gifts (ABILITIES) He has given you. Once given, forever given. But you will give account of them one appointed day. (Romans 11:29; 1 Corinthians 4:1,2; 2 Corinthians 5:9-11).
Again, remember that until you RESPOND to your God-given natural and supernatural ABILITIES, you will not enjoy some measure of CAPACITY. That is, some measure of "CAP" on your ABILITY. True!
Some of the "CAP" you will "put on" and enjoy when you consciously and courageously RESPOND to your ABILITY are:
1. Recognitions.
2. Supports in all dimension.
3. Awards.
4. Connections and fame.
5. Monetary and material gains.
6. Comfortable life and amongst others.
7. Rewards from God at last in Heaven. (Luke 18:28-30; 1 Corinthians 3:6-15; 2 Timothy 4:5-8).
Many genuine Christians not RESPONDING to their natural and supernatural God-given ABILITIES or not schooling their God-given ABILITIES, but rather gotten other forms of schooling and training far different from their natural and supernatural ABILITIES, is what primarily responsible for the mass pervasion, poverty and powerlessness we see today in the Body of Christ in this World. True!
The Bible says thus:
A man's GIFT makes room for him, and brings him before GREAT men. (Proverbs 18:16; Proverbs 22:29).
Respond to (Go for) your God-given natural and supernatural ABILITIES from henceforth and you will never be a failure in Christ in this World. Never!
Jesus Christ said, if you don't, you are WICKED to God and humanity and slothful (lazy). True! (Matthew 25:14-30; Hebrews 6:12).
Are you?
Think about it and do something about it now.
