Today's Focus: Building UP your FAITH in Christ, getting divine RESULTS in this World by praying WITH and IN the HOLY GHOST!
We have being taught over the years that PRAYERS involving the HOLY GHOST is only:
1. When we pray with UNKNOWN Tongue (speaking in tongue or heavenly language) and not also
2. When we pray with KNOWN Tongues (human languages).
This is not true because KNOWN tongues' PRAYERS according to the Bible must be made by the inspiration, enlightenment, revelation, guidance and empowerment (as the case may be) of the Holy Ghost, to be effective and productive, divine wise in Christ on Earth. True!
Because of the misinformation stated above, many genuine Christians do NOT consciously and consistently DEPEND on the HOLY SPIRIT of Christ that is within them to PRAY in, with and through them, whether with an UNKNOWN Tongue (speaking in tongue or heavenly language) or with KNOWN Tongues (human languages). So sad!
Apostle Paul explained to us that he PRAYED WITH the SPIRIT thus:
Wherefore let him that speaks in an unknown tongue pray that he may interpret. For if I pray in an UNKNOWN tongue, my SPIRIT prays, but my understanding is unfruitful. What is it then? I will PRAY WITH the SPIRIT, and I will PRAY with the UNDERSTANDING also: I will sing with the spirit, and I will sing with the understanding also. (1 Corinthians 14:13-15).
Furthermore, he encouraged us to PRAY IN the SPIRIT thus:
But, beloved, remember you the words which were spoken before of the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ; how that you there should be mockers in the last time, who should walk after their own ungodly lusts. These be they who separate themselves, sensual, having NOT the Spirit. But you, beloved, building up YOURSELVES on your most holy FAITH, praying IN the HOLY GHOST. (Jude 1:17-19).
And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God: PRAYING always with ALL PRAYER and supplication IN the SPIRIT, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints; (Ephesians 6:17,18).
From the understanding of the above scriptural references and many others in the Bible, we can see the need to PRAY with or in the Holy Spirit at all times. True!
Also, we can see clearly that:
1. We are PRAYING WITH the SPIRIT, when we are PRAYING with an UNKNOWN Tongue (speaking in tongue or heavenly language). That is, the Holy Spirit Himself doing the praying within and through us at such times, with our understanding unfruitful. (1 Corinthians 14:13-15).
Apostle Paul said "my SPIRIT prays", but my UNDERSTANDING is unfruitful. Remember, in Christ, our our human spirit become ONE with the Holy Spirit. True! (1 Corinthians 6:17-21).
2. We are PRAYING IN the SPIRIT, when we are PRAYING with KNOWN tongues (human languages). That is, we ourselves doing the praying by the inspiration, enlightenment, revelation, guidance and empowerment (as the case may be) of the Holy Spirit at such times, with our understanding fruitful. (Ephesians 6:17,18).
Therefore, it is the exclusive right of the HOLY GHOST to whether:
1. PRAY in, with or through us on a matter with an UNKNOWN Tongue (speaking in tongue or heavenly language) for our mind NOT to have understanding or being unfruitful of the matter at stake or
2. PRAY in, with or through us on a matter with KNOWN Tongues (human languages) for our mind TO have understanding or being fruitful of the matter at stake. True!
As genuine Children of God in Christ in this World, we are expected to solely DEPEND on the Holy Spirit at all times to PRAY the WILL of God the Father in, with and through us, whether with an UNKNOWN Tongue (speaking in tongue or heavenly language) or with KNOWN Tongues (human languages). True!
That is the only way we can have confidence that our PRAYERS or PETITIONS to God the Father in Jesus' name is RIGHT and will be ANSWERED, like those who have gone before us having their PRAYERS or PETITIONS right and answered, because they solely depend on the HOLY SPIRIT of Christ that is within them to PRAY the WILL of God within or through them in Christ par time in this World. True!
Apostle John revealed this to us thus:
And this is the CONFIDENCE that we have in Him, that, if we ASK any thing according to His WILL, He hears us: And if we know that He hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of Him. (1 John 5:14,15; Romans 12:1,2).
Therefore, timely to know and note is that many genuine Christians have NOT come to the understanding and consciousness that EVERYTHING currently in this World as regards true CHRISTIANITY practices rises and falls ONLY on the activities of the HOLY SPIRIT of Christ in, upon and through us par time, the Children of God in Christ in this World. True!
And, ONE critical area this truth has NOT been realised by many genuine Christians, is in the area of PRAYER. True!
Many genuine Christians do NOT know that no matter how good their English Language speaking ability is or other human languages are, they cannot still or always PRAY alright according to the WILL of GOD or the MIND of GOD for them or for others on their own, without the HELP of the HOLY SPIRIT of Christ that is within them. So sad!
This truth Apostle Paul realised and revealed to us thus:
Likewise the Spirit also HELPS our infirmities: for we know NOT what we should PRAY for as we ought: BUT the SPIRIT itself makes intercession for us with groaning (s) which cannot be uttered. And He (God the Father) that searches the hearts knows what is the MIND of the SPIRIT, because He makes INTERCESSION for the SAINTS according to the WILL of GOD. And we know that ALL things work together for GOOD to them that LOVE God, to them who are the CALLED according to His PURPOSE. For whom He did FOREKNOW, He also did predestinate to be conformed to the IMAGE of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren. Moreover whom He did PREDESTINATE, them he also called: and whom He CALLED, them He also justified: and whom he JUSTIFIED, them he also GLORIFIED. (Romans 8:26-30; 1 Corinthians 2:9-16; Romans 12:1,2).
Apostle Paul made us to understand that when we PRAY WITH the HOLY GHOST (with unknown tongue), that is, by allowing the HOLY GHOST of Christ that is within us to PRAY Himself in, with or through us, we speak MYSTERIES (hidden secrets) in the spirit, EDIFYING ourselves.
The Bible reveals thus:
Follow after charity, and desire spiritual gifts, but rather that you may prophesy. For he that speaks in an UNKNOWN tongue speaks NOT unto men, but unto God: for NO man understands him; howbeit in the spirit he speaks MYSTERIES. But he that prophesies speaks unto men to edification, and exhortation, and comfort. He that speaks in an UNKNOWN tongue EDIFIES himself; but he that prophesies edifies the church. I would that you all spake with tongues, but rather that you prophesied: for greater is he that prophesies than he that speaks with tongues, except he interpret, that the church may receive edifying. (1 Corinthians 14:1-5).
Also, he made us to understanding that when we PRAY IN the HOLY GHOST (with known tongues), that is, by allowing the HOLY GHOST of Christ that is within us to inspire, enlighten, reveal to, guide and empower us to PRAY in or through us:
1. We BUILD up ourselves on our most HOLY FAITH. True:
The Bible reveals to us thus:

2. We effectively employ the SWORD of the SPIRIT to defend or defeat our enemies. True!
And take the helmet of salvation, and the SWORD of the SPIRIT, which is the WORD of God: PRAYING always with ALL PRAYER and supplication IN the SPIRIT, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saint. (Ephesians 6:17,18; Hebrew 4:12).
In the light of the above, it becomes inevitable for a genuine believer of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ in this World:
1. Not to learn how to PRAY WITH the HOLY GHOST (unknown tongue) or
2. Not to learn how to PRAY IN the HOLY GHOST (know tongues). That is, praying by the inspiration, enlightenment, revelation, guidance and empowerment of the Holy Spirit par time par prayer . True!
Now, know and note that NO one can come to his or her FULLNESS in Christ, in terms of entering his or her divine REST and BEST in Christ in this World, without employing the above explained two approaches to PRAYER, as a divinely laid down way of the HOLY GHOST helping us in Christ in this World to PRAY alright the Will or Mind of God the Father to encounter divine interventions and get divine results in Christ par time in this World. True!
This is because:
1. Without the HELP of the Holy Spirit, you and I will end up PRAYING lustful prayers thus:
From whence come WARS and FIGHTINGS among you? come they not hence, even of your LUSTS that war in your members? You LUST, and have not: ye kill, and desire to have, and CANNOT obtain: you fight and war, yet you have not, because you ASK not. You ASK, and RECEIVE not, because you ASK amiss, that you may consume it upon your LUSTS. You adulterers and adulteresses, know you not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? Whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God. Do you think that the scripture said in vain, The spirit that dwells IN us lusts to envy? (James 4:1-5; James 1:12-15; 1 John 2:15-17).
Is the above scriptural passage not the conscious or unconscious current state of the PRAYER LIVES and POINTS of lots of genuine Christians today.
Are you one of them?
Think about it and do something about it urgently now , for the TIME now is shorter than when we first believed. (Ephesians 5:15-18).
2. Without the HELP of the Holy Spirit, you and I will end up fainting in our PRAYER life thus:
And He spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to PRAY, and NOT to FAINT. (Luke 18:1).
That was the case of Peter, James and John, when Jesus Christ took them along to PRAY during His last days on Earth. They were sleeping (vis-à-vis fainting in their prayer life), when they were supposed to be praying with Jesus Christ. This is because they have not received the empowerment of the HOLY SPIRIT at that time. (Matthew 26:36-45).
Are you fainting in your PRAYER LIFE today?
Sincerely seek the inspiration, enlightenment, revelation guidance and empowerment of the HOLY SPIRIT of Christ that is within you in this World and you go life through prayerfully, powerfully and purposefully having amazing breakthrough RESULTS with your PRAYER LIFE in Christ in this World. True!
