Today's Focus: Three (3) Critical CHECKS on your CHURCH!
The Bible counsels us to PROVE all things (including your CHURCH) and HOLD on to that which is GOOD. (1 Thessalonians 5:21).
Therefore, I put it to you:
1. Is your CHURCH perfecting YOU (as a Saint of God) with the KNOWLEDGE of God in Christ in this World?
2. Is your CHURCH helping YOU with the UNDERSTANDING of your own work of ministry for God in Christ in this World.
3. Is your CHURCH edifying YOU with the WISDOM of God in Christ in this World.
The above is the three (3) critical functions of the fivefold office and ministry of the leadership of the Church of Christ in this World. (Ephesians 4:11,12).
So, if your CHURCH is not carrying out the three (3) primary responsibilities of the Church of Christ to you, who is an individual Church of Christ in this World, then it TIME for you to seek the Lord and do something urgently about your current CHURCH. Yes, it is time. Because the time is short than before. (Ephesians 5:15-18).
Always remember, HEAVEN and HELL are real after death or rapture. Take note, take heed! (Hebrews 9:27; 1 Corinthians 3:6-15).
Today's Focus from Scripture:
Wherefore he said, When He ascended up on high, He led captivity captive, and gave gifts unto men. (Now that He ascended, what is it but that He also descended first into the lower parts of the earth? He that descended is the same also that ascended up far above all heavens, that he might fill all things.) And He gave some, APOSTLES; and some, PROPHETS; and some, EVANGELISTS; and some, PASTORS and TEACHERS; For the PERFECTING of the saints, for the WORK of the ministry, for the EDIFYING of the body of Christ: Till we ALL come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ: That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive; But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into Him in all things, which is the Head, even Christ. (Ephesians 4:8-15; Ephesians 1:15-23; Colossians 4:17).
