As a genuine messenger of God in Christ in this end time, I will only deliver a message I am asked to deliver par time to you. Today by the grace of God in Christ in me, I am sent to inform you that for you to be VICTORIOUS and SUCCESSFUL in Christ par time in this World, you have to LEARN to OVERCOME in Christ in this World. True! Take note, take heed!
There is no doubt or debate that JESUS CHRIST has OVERCOME for us who are in Him in this World. The Bible confirms it to be so thus:
These things I have spoken unto you, that IN ME you might have PEACE. IN the WORLD you shall have TRIBULATION: but be of good cheer; I have OVERCOME the World. (John 16:33).
Therefore, the Bible reveals to us thus:
And they OVERCAME Him by the BLOOD of the LAMB, and by the WORD of their testimony; and they loved NOT their lives unto DEATH. (Revelation 12:11).
However, the same JESUS CHRIST who has OVERCOME on our behalf when He was not yet in us is now IN us in this World as the Holy Spirit of God or of Christ. True! Take note, take heed!
The Bible reveals to us thus:
Now the LORD is that SPIRIT: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is LIBERTY. (2 Corinthians 3: 17).
So, the Bible says to us:
But you are NOT in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the SPIRIT of GOD dwell IN you. Now if any man have NOT the Spirit of Christ, he is NONE of his. (Romans 8:9).
Therefore, the Bible reveals to us that as HE (Jesus Christ) is, so are WE (in Him) in this World. True! Take note, take heed! (1 John 4:17).
This is because by putting His Holy Spirit in each of us in this World, JESUS CHRIST has succeeded in duplicating Himself in each of us in Him in this World. True! Take take note, take heed!
That is why Jesus Christ Himself said to us thus:
To him that OVERCOMES will I grant to SIT with ME in my throne, even as I also OVERCAME, and am set down with my Father in His throne. He that had an ear, let him hear what the Spirit said unto the Churches. (Revelation 3:21,22).
Jesus Christ not yet IN you in this World has OVERCOME the World. However, Jesus Christ now IN you by His Holy Spirit within you in this WORLD needs to also OVERCOME. Halleluyah!
Now, if you remember, I wrote above that JESUS CHRIST declared in John 16:33 that He has OVERCOME the WORLD and the Bible reveals to us thus:
For whatsoever is BORN of GOD OVERCOMES the WORLD: and this is the VICTORY that OVERCOMES the WORLD, even our FAITH. Who is he that OVERCOMES the WORLD, but he that believes that Jesus is the Son of God? (1 John 5:4,5).
Know and note that you are BORN of GOD because of the Holy Spirit of Christ that comes into you to become one with your human SPIRIT. True! The Bible reveals that it is only such persons that have the Holy Spirit of Christ within them in this World that has the power to OVERCOME the WORLD like Jesus Christ did. This is because greater is He (the Holy Spirit of Christ) in them now than he (the spirit of Satan) that is in the World. True! Hallellyah! Take note, take heed! (1 Corinthians 6:17-20; 1 John 4:1-4).
So now, WHAT then is IN the WORLD you should consciously and consistently WATCH OUT for as a genuine Child of God in Christ to OVERCOME to the glory of God par time par your situation in this World?
The Bible reveals to us thus:
LOVE not the World, neither the THINGS that are in the World. If any man LOVE the WORLD, the LOVE of the FATHER is not in him. For ALL that is IN the WORLD:
1. The LUST of the FLESH, which talks of passionate and ungodly drive for sex, food, sleep, etc in this World.
2. The LUST of the EYES, which talks of passionate and ungodly drive for beauty, material things, entertainment, etc in this World.
3. The PRIDE of LIFE, which talks of passionate and ungodly drive for position, power, popularity, etc in this World.
The Bible further says that Lust of the Flesh, Lust of the Eyes and Pride of Life is NOT of the FATHER, but is of the WORLD. And the WORLD passes away, and the LUST thereof: but he that DOES the WILL of GOD abides for ever. (1 John 2:15-17; 1 Peter 2; James 1:12-15; 1 John 5:18-21).
So now, WHO then is IN the WORLD you should consciously and consistently WATCH OUT for as a genuine Child of God in Christ to OVERCOME to the glory of God par time par your situation in this World?
1. SELF.
SELF talks of your SOUL (which consist of Mind, Emotions and Will) and your BODY (Flesh). True!
You must LEARN to OVERCOME your SELF (Mind, Emotions, Will and Flesh) LUST and PRIDE par time that runs contrary to the Word, Will and Way of God in Christ for you par time to OVERCOME in this World to please God and to enter and enjoy His REST and BEST in Christ for you par time par your situation in this World now and in Heaven someday. True! Take note, take heed!
That is why Apostle Paul timely counselled us thus:
I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you PRESENT your BODIES a living sacrifice, HOLY, acceptable unto God, which is your REASONABLE SERVICE. And be NOT conformed to this WORLD: but be ye transformed by the RENEWING of your MIND, that you may PROVE what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, WILL of GOD. (Romans 12:1,2; Romans 7:14-25; Romans 8:1-14; Philippians 4:8,9; Colossians 2:8-10; 1 Peter 1:13-17; Matthew 6:9,10; 1 John 5:14,15).
That is why the Bible counsels us thus:
Blessed is the man that ENDURES temptation: for when he is TRIED, he shall RECEIVE the CROWN of LIFE, which the Lord had promised to them that LOVE Him. Let NO man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God CANNOT be tempted with evil, neither tempts he any man: But EVERY man is TEMPTED, when he is DRAWN away of his own LUST, and ENTICED. Then when lust had CONCEIVED, it brings forth SIN: and sin, when it is FINISHED, brings forth DEATH. (James 1:12-15; James 1:2-8; 2 Timothy 4:5-8; James 4:5-10; Proverbs 14:12).
That is why JESUS CHRIST bodly requested from.us thus:
And he said to them all, If any man will COME after me, LET him DENY himself, and TAKE UP his cross daily, and FOLLOW me. For whosoever will SAVE his LIFE shall LOSE it: but whosoever will LOSE his LIFE for my SAKE, the same shall SAVE it. For what is a man advantaged, if he GAIN the whole WORLD, and lose himself, or be cast away? For whosoever shall be ashamed of me and of my Words, of him shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he shall come in His own glory, and in his Father's, and of the holy angels. (Luke 9:23-26).
2. SATAN (vis-à-vis demons).
SATAN talks of your number one (spirit being) archenemy in Christ in this World. True!
You must LEARN to OVERCOME SATAN who par time par your situation will invisibly and deceptively ENTICE you or PUT PRESSURE on you in your areas of SELF (Mind, Emotions, Will and Flesh) LUST and PRIDE to SIN against GOD in terms of going contrary to God's Word, Will and Way in Christ for you par time in this World to OVERCOME you so that you displease God and do not enter and enjoy His REST and BEST in Christ for you par time par your situation in this World. True! Take note, take heed!
That is why Apostle Peter timely counselled us thus:
HUMBLE yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that He may EXALT you in due time: CASTING all your care upon Him; for He cares for you. Be sober, be VIGILANT; because your ADVERSARY the DEVIL, as a roaring lion, WALKS about, SEEKING whom he may DEVOUR: Whom RESIST steadfast in the FAITH, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the WORLD. But the God of all grace, who had CALLED us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you PERFECT, ESTABLISH, STRENGTHEN, SETTLE you. (1 Peter 5:6-10; James 4:5-10; John 10:10; Revelation 12:11,12; Romans 8:28-39).
Per time, par your situation, SATAN will play around your LUST and PRIDE areas with a sole aim to OVERCOME in Christ in this World. True! Take note, take heed!
That is why the Bible counsels us thus:
Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, LET US lay aside every WEIGHT, and the SIN which does so EASILY beset us, and LET US run with PATIENCE the RACE that is set before us, LOOKING unto JESUS the Author and Finisher of our FAITH; who for the joy that was set before Him ENDURED the CROSS, despising the shame, and is SET down at the right hand of the throne of God. (Hebrews 12:1,2; Hebrews 6:12).
3. SINNERS
SINNERS talks of unbelievers and immature believers who SATAN will want to visibly and deceptively use par time par your situation to ENTICE you or PUT PRESSURE on you in your areas of SELF (Mind, Emotions, Will and Flesh) LUST and PRIDE to SIN against GOD in terms of going contrary to God's Word, Will and Way in Christ for you par time in this World to OVERCOME you so that you displease God and do not enter and enjoy His REST and BEST in Christ for you par time par your situation in this World. True! Take note, take heed!
That is why King Solomon the wisest timely counselled us thus:
That is why the Psalmist reveals to us thus:
BLESSED is the man that WALKS not in the counsel of the UNGODLY, nor STANDS in the way of SINNERS, nor SITS in the seat of the SCORNFUL. But his DELIGHT is in the law of the LORD; and in his law does he MEDITATE day and night. And he shall be LIKE a tree planted by the rivers of water, that BRINGS FORTH his FRUIT in his SEASON; his leaf also shall NO wither; and WHATSOEVER he DOES shall PROSPER. (Psalm 1:1-3; Philippians 4:8,9; James 1:22-25; Joshua 1:8; Psalm 19-7-14; Proverbs 1:10-19; 1 Timothy 6:6-12; 2 Corinthians 6:14-18; Ecclesiastes 3:1-11).
That is why the Bible counsels us thus:
For when for the time you OUGHT to be teachers, you have NEED that one teach you again which be the FIRST PRINCIPLES of the ORACLES of GOD; and are become such as have NEED of milk, and NOT of strong meat. For every one that uses MILK is UNSKILLFUL in the WORD of righteousness: for he is a BABE. But STRONG MEAT belongs to them that are of FULL AGE, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to DISCERN both GOOD and EVIL. (Hebrews 5:12-15).
Finally, that is why Jesus Christ counsels us to WATCH and PRAY thus:
WATCH and PRAY, that you ENTER NOT into TEMPTATION: the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak. (Matthew 26:41; Mark 13:31-33).
Then, also Apostle Paul counselled us as well thus:
For when they shall say, PEACE and SAFETY; then SUDDEN DESTRUCTION comes upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall NOT escape. But you, brethren, are NOT in DARKNESS, that that DAY should OVERTAKE you as a thief. YOU are all the Children of LIGHT, and the Children of the DAY: we are OTHERS of the NIGHT, nor of DARKNESS. Therefore LET US NOT SLEEP, as do OTHERS; but LET US WATCH and be SOBER. For they that sleep sleep in the night; and they that be drunken are drunken in the night. But LET US, who are of the DAY, be sober, PUTTING ON the breastplate of FAITH and LOVE; and for an helmet, the HOPE of salvation. (1 Thessalonians 5:3-8; John 3:15-21; John 1:1-14; 1 Peter 2:9,10)
Unfortunately, many genuine Christians are only PRAYING and:
1. Many are NOT consciously and consistently WATCHING not to fall into TEMPTATION (the enticement of Satan and Sinners to deceptively cause SELF to SIN against God) anymore. True! So sad, so bad!
2. Many are NOT consciously and consistently WATCHING for the great day of the Lord expectantly anymore. True! So sad, so bad!
Now, do you know that you should PRAY what you have first spiritually and physically WATCH par time par situation? Go back to look carefully at the instruction of Jesus Christ stated above, which came first, PRAYER or WATCH?
That is why Apostle Paul counselled us thus:
Be CAREFUL for NOTHING; but in EVERY THING by PRAYER and SUPPLICATION with THANKSGIVING let your REQUEST be made KNOWN unto God. And the PEACE of GOD, which passes ALL understanding, shall KEEP your HEARTS and MIND through Christ Jesus. Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are TRUE, whatsoever things are HONEST, whatsoever things are JUST, whatsoever things are PURE, whatsoever things are LOVELY, whatsoever things are of GOOD REPORT; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, THINK on these things. Those things, which you have both LEARNED, and RECEIVED, and HEARD, and SEEN in me, DO: and the GOD of PEACE shall be with you. (Philippians 4:6-9; Ephesians 5:15-18; Ephesians 6:10-18; James 1:22-25).
If you do not consciously and consistently WATCH and PRAY, Self, Satan and Sinner will TAKE ADVANTAGE of you and OVERCOME you par time par your situation in Christ in this World. True! I am sorry to say this, it is the ugly encounter and experience of so many genuine Christians in this World today, which is delaying or denying them their divine REST and BEST in Christ par time par their situation in this World. True! So sad, bad!
And this is because they are NOT consciously and consistently allowing the Jesus Christ in them by the Holy Spirit in them to continuously OVERCOME the World through them as the Jesus Christ in man's clothing did. So sad, so bad!
This was why Apostle Peter lamented thus:
For IF AFTER they have ESCAPED the POLLUTIONS of the WORLD through the KNOWLEDGE of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, they are AGAIN ENTANGLED therein, and OVERCOME, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning. For it had been better for them NOT to have known the WAY of righteousness, than, after they have known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered unto them. But it is happened unto them according to the true proverb, The DOG is turned to his own VOMIT again; and the sow that was washed to her wallowing in the mire. (2 Peter 2:20-22; 1 John 2:12-17; Hebrews 5:12-14; Galatians 3 and 5).
Now among us genuine Christians still living in this World, the Bible reveals to us HOW we can wselt and smartly OVERCOME Self, Satan and Sinners among us in the Body of Christ and among the people of the World thus:
Be kindly AFFECTIONED one to another with brotherly love; in honour PREFERRING one another; Not SLOTHFUL in BUSINESS; fervent in SPIRIT; serving the Lord; rejoicing in HOPE; patient in TRIBULATION; continuing instant in PRAYER; Distributing to the NECESSITY of saints; given to HOSPITALITY. Bless them which PERSECUTE you: bless, and CURSE NOT. Rejoice with them that do REJOICE, and weep with them that WEEP. Be of the SAME mind one toward another. Mind not HIGH things, but CONDESCEND to men of low estate. Be NOT wise in your OWN conceits. Recompense to NO man evil for evil. Provide things HONEST in the sight of ALL men. If it be possible, as much as lies in you, LIVE PEACEABLY with ALL men. Dearly beloved, avenge NOT yourselves, but rather GIVE place unto WRATH: for it is written, VENGEANCE is mine; I will REPAY, said the Lord. Therefore if thine enemy hunger, FEED him; if he thirst, GIVE him drink: for in so doing you shall heap coals of fire on his head. Be NOT overcome of evil, but OVERCOME evil with GOOD. (Romans 12:10-21;/Philippians 4:5; Hebrews 12:14).
Don't be deceived, but take note, take heed to know and understand that until you OVERCOME in FAITH par time par your situation in Christ (with the assistance of the HOLY BIBLE and help of the HOLY SPIRIT of Christ that is within you in this World) to please GOD in this World and when you EXIT this World, you will not enter and enjoy His ordained REST and BEST in Christ for you now and after you exit the Earth as ordained to REWARD your FAITH and OBEDIENCE after you have faithfully stayed to His Word, Will and Way in Christ for you as such time of your TEMPTATION (test and trial) in Christ in this World. God forbid, you will OVERCOME now and at last in Jesus name. (Hebrews 11:6; Romans 8; 1 Corinthians 2:9-16; 1John 5:4,5; Revelation 2:7; Revelation 3:21,22; Revelation 21:7; 2 Timothy 4:5-8).
