I discovered that many genuine Christians do not understand:
1. What LIGHT in Christ truly and practically means in this World. So sad, so bad!
2. What LIFE in Christ truly and practically means in this World. So sad, so bad!
So, I am sent today to inform you about the true and practical meaning of LIGHT and LIFE in Christ in this World. Are you ready?
First and foremost, you must know and understand that:
1. Everything about GOD in Christ in this World is LIGHT and LIFE. True! Take note, take heed!
2. Everything about SATAN in this World is DARKNESS and DEATH. True! Take note, take heed!
Therefore, the Bible reveals to us there are TWO LAWS on which this World runs on thus:
There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk NOT after the FLESH, but after the SPIRIT. For the LAW of the SPIRIT of LIFE in Christ Jesus had made me FREE from the LAW of SIN and DEATH. For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, GOD sending His own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh: That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk NOT after the FLESH, but after the SPIRIT. For they that are after the flesh DO MIND the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit. For to be CARNALLY MINDED is DEATH; but to be SPIRITUALLY MINDED is LIFE and PEACE. Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is NOT subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be. So then they that are in the flesh CANNOT please God. But you are NOT in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God DWELL in YOU. Now if any man have NOT the Spirit of Christ, he is none of His. And if CHRIST be in YOU, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness. But if the Spirit of Him that raised up Jesus from the dead DWELL in YOU, He that raised up Christ from the dead shall also QUICKEN your mortal bodies by His Spirit that dwells in you. (Romans 8:1-11).
From the above scriptural passage, you can clearly see the TWO LAWS on which the everything thought, spoken and done in this World runs on thus:
1. The LAW of the SPIRIT of RIGHTEOUSNESS and LIFE in Christ Jesus.
This law says that if you think, speak and live righteously (according to the LIGHT) in Christ in this World, you will encounter and experience LIFE and PEACE in this World. True! Take note, take heed!
2. The LAW of the FLESH of SIN and DEATH in Satan.
This law says that if you think, speak and live unrighteously (according to the DARKNESS) in Satan in this World, you will encounter and experience DEATH in this World. True! Take note, take heed!
The Bible gives us more explanation thus:
If any man see his brother sin a sin which is not unto death, he shall ask, and he shall give him life for them that sin not unto death. There is a SIN unto DEATH: I do not say that he shall pray for it. ALL UNRIGHTEOUSNESS is SIN: and there is a sin not unto death. We know that whosoever is BORN of GOD sins NOT; but he that is begotten of God KEEPS himself, and that WICKED ONE touches him NOT. And we know that we are of God, and the WHOKE WORLD lies in WICKEDNESS. And we know that the Son of God is come, and had given us an understanding, that we may know Him that is true, and we are in Him that is true, even in His Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life. Little children, KEEP yourselves from idols. Amen. (1 John 5:16-21).
Do you get it?
The challenge now is that lots of genuine Christians do not know and understand:
1. What is LIGHT and LIFE in Christ in this World. True! So sad, so bad!
2. What is DARKNESS and DEATH in Satan in this World. True! So sad, so bad!
The Bible reveals clearly who and what is LIGHT and LIFE in the eyes of God in this World to us thus:
In the beginning was the Word, and the WORD was with GOD, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by Him; and without Him was not any thing made that was made. In Him was LIFE; and the life was the LIGHT of men. And the light shines in darkness; and the DARKNESS comprehended it not. There was a man sent from God, whose name was John. The same came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all men through him might believe. He was NOT that Light, but was sent to bear witness of that Light. That was the TRUE LIGHT, which LIGHTS every man that comes INTO the WORLD. He was in the World, and the World was made by Him, and the world knew Him not. He came unto his own, and His own received Him NOT. But as MANY as RECEIVED Him, to them GAVE He POWER to become the SONS of GOD, even to them that believe on His name: Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. And the WORD was made FLESH, and DWELT among us, (and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of GRACE and TRUTH. (John 1:1-14).
From the above scriptural passage, JESUS CHRIST is the WORD of GOD that became FLESH and dwelt among humans. He is the one and only true LIGHT and LIFE that God sent into this World to give LIGHT and LIFE to everyone born into the World. True! Take note, take heed! (John 3:15-21).
And Himself confirmed it when He boldly said thus:
I must work the works of Him that sent me, while it is day: the night comes, when no man can work. As long as I am in the World, I am the LIGHT of the World. (John 9:4,5).
And because as He is, so are we (in Him) in this World, He said to us thus:
You are the SALT of the EARTH: but if the Salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men. You are the LIGHT of the WORLD. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid. Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it gives light unto all that are in the house. LET your LIGHT so SHINE before men, that they may SEE your GOOD WORKS, and GLORIFY your Father which is in Heaven. (Matthew 5:13-16; 1 John 4:17).
Now back to the challenge of what is truly and practically LIGHT and LIFE in Christ in this World, we can see clearly from John 1:1-14 above that JESUS CHRIST who is the truly spiritual LIGHT and LIFE of God to humanity is also the WORD of GOD. Therefore, spiritually speaking, the WORD of GOD in Christ is LIGHT and LIFE in this dark WORLD. True! Take note, take heed!
That is why Jesus Christ boldly declared thus:
It is the Spirit that quickens; the flesh profits nothing: the WORDS that I speak unto you, they are SPIRIT, and they are LIFE. (John 6:63).
That is why King David boldly declared thus:
O how love I thy law! it is my meditation all the day. You through your commandments hast made me WISER than mine enemies: for they are ever with me. I have MORE understanding than all my teachers: for your testimonies are my meditation. I understand MORE than the ancients, because I KEEP your precepts. I have refrained my feet from every evil way, that I might keep your WORD. I have not departed from thy judgments: for you have taught me. How sweet are your WORDS unto my taste! yes, sweeter than honey to my mouth! Through your precepts I get understanding: therefore I hate every false way. Your WORD is a LAMP unto my FEET, and a LIGHT unto my PATH. (Psalm 119:97-105).
Please take note of "Your WORD is a LAMP unto my FEET and a LIGHT unto my PATH." This means that that if you THINK, SPEAK and LIVE par time par your situation IN LINE with the WORD of God in Christ for you in this World, you are spiritually and practically thinking, speaking and living in LIGHT and LIFE in this World. True! Halleluyah! Take note, take heed!
Therefore, you should also consciously know and understand that when your are WALKING and WORKING in DARKNESS and DEATH in Satan in this World, which is, when you thinking, speaking and living par time par your situation OUT OF LINE of the Word, Ways and Will in Christ for you in this World. That is, when you are thinking, speaking and living according to this World's principles, traditions, cultures, ways and manners and trends instead of that of God in Christ for you in this World. True! Take note, take heed! (Colossians 2:8-10; Romans 12:1,2; 1 John 2:15-17).
The products of the WORD of GOD in Christ are seen in this World in everything that are GOOD and PERFECT because the Bible reveals to us thus:
Every GOOD GIFT and every PERFECT GIFT is from above, and comes down from the FATHER of LIGHTS, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning. (James 1:17).
Now,
1. Whenever you see GOOD (Holiness and Good deeds) in this World, God's WORD in Christ is there. True! Therefore, God's LIGHT and LIFE in Christ is there. True! Take note, take heed!
2. Whenever you see BAD (Sin and Evil deeds), God's WORD in Christ is not there. True! Therefore, God's LIGHT and LIFE in Christ is not there. True! Take note, take heed!
Therefore, the Bible counsels us thus:
PROVE all things; HOLD fast that which is GOOD. (1 Thessalonians 5:21; 1 John 4:1-4).
Which means for you to be seen by God to be a WISE Christian (Christ's follower) in this World, you must be seen to PROVE ALL THINGS, if they are the Word, Ways and WILL of God and HOLD FAST only to those things which are GOOD. True! Take note, take heed!
That is why the Bible counsels us thus:
I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you PRESENT your bodies a living sacrifice, HOLY, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. And be NOT conformed to this World: but be you transformed by the RENEWING of your MIND, that you may PROVE what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, WILL of God. (Romans 12:1,2).
And further counsels us thus:
See then that you WALK circumspectly, NOT as FOOLS, but as WISE, redeeming the time, because the DAYS are EVIL. Wherefore be you NOT unwise, but UNDERSTANDING what the WILL of the Lord is. And be NOT drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be FILLED with the Spirit. (Ephesians 5:15-17).
In conclusion, know and note that God only associateso and bless things that are GOOD in this World. That is, only those things that are products of His Spirit inspired thoughts, Words and actions in accordance to His Words, Ways and Wills in Christ par time par situation in this World. True! Take note, take heed! (Matthew 6:9,10; 1 John 5:14,15; Joshua 1:8; Psalm 19:7-14; Psalm 1:1-3; Philippians 4:8,9).
That is why the Bible reveals that only those that are LED by the Spirit of God are the Sons and Daughters of God in Christ in this World. They are the only ones that truly enter and enjoy the GRACE of God in Christ in this World. True! Take note, take heed! (Romans 8:14; Galatians 5:18).
Therefore, the Bible counsels us thus:
LOVE works no ill to his neighbour: therefore LOVE is the fulfilling of the law. And that, knowing the time, that now it is high time to AWAKE out of SLEEP: for now is our SALVATION nearer than when we believed. The NIGHT is far spent, the DAY is at hand: LET us therefore CAST off the WORKS of DARKNESS, and let us PUT on the ARMOUR of LIGHT. LET us walk honestly, as in the day; not in rioting and drunkenness, not in chambering and wantonness, not in strife and envying. But PUT you on the LORD JESUS CHRIST, and make NOT provision for the flesh, to fulfil the lusts thereof. (Romans 13:10-13; Ephesians 5).
Always remember that at such time when you consciously or unconsciously think, speak and live outside of God's Word, Way and Will in Christ for you par your situation, you are walking in DARKNESS and DEATH in Satan, not LIGHT and LIFE in Christ in this World. Only consciously and consistently walking and working within the Word, Way and Will of God in Christ par time par your situation guaranties you walking and working in LIGHT and LIFE in Christ in this World. Nothing more, nothing less. Therefore, if you allow the WORD OF GOD in Christ to DWELL richly in you in all Wisdom, you will MANIFEST the LIGHT and LIFE of GOD in Christ richly in this World to address all your CHALLENGES and even HELP other people get their own challenges divinely address as well to the glory of God. True! Take note, take heed! (Colossians 3:16,17; Hebrews 4:16).
