If you as a genuine Christian, do not know or understand that you are the both the spiritual HOUSE OF GOD and TEMPLE of GOD in Christ in this World, then:
1. You are not ready to enter and enjoy God's REST and BEST in Christ for you in this World. True! Take note, take heed!
2. You are not ready to encounter (manifest) and experience (fulfill) God's DIVINE DESTINY in Christ for your life in this World. True! Take note, take heed!
The Bible reveals to us that each of us in Christ in this World are both the spiritual HOUSE of GOD and TEMPLE of GOD because GOD dwells as the Holy Spirit of Christ that is within each of us in Christ in this World.
Now, as a HOUSE of GOD, the Bible says to us thus:
You also, as LIVELY STONES, are built up a SPIRITUAL HOUSE, an holy priesthood, to offer up SPIRITUAL SACRIFICES, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ. (1 Peter 2:5).
That is why Apostle Paul appealed and counselled thus:
I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you PRESENT your BODIES a LIVING SACRIFICE, HOLY, ACCEPTABLE unto God, which is your reasonable service. (Romans 12: 1).
Don't be deceived, your first and foremost REASONABLE SERVICE in Christ in this World, is to think, speak and live HOLY before GOD. This is because God is HOLY and can relate with SIN. Therefore, the Bible reveals to us thus:
As obedient children, NOT fashioning yourselves according to the FORMER LUSTS in YOUR IGNORANCE: But as He which had called you is HOLY, so be you HOLY in ALL manner of conversation; because it is written, BE YOU HOLY; for I AM HOLY. And if ye call on the Father, who WITHOUT respect of persons JUDGES according to every man's work, pass the time of your sojourning here in fear. (1 Peter 1:14-17).
Take note, take heed because as a spiritual HOUSE of GOD in Christ in this World, you are expected to be a spiritual HOUSE of PRAYER to demand the WILL of GOD to be done on Earth as it is in Heaven for you, others and nations. True! This is because God rarely does things as regards His WILL to be done on the Earth without someone PRAYING to Him to do it as it is in Heaven. True!
Therefore, Jesus Christ said to usand thus:
And said unto them, It is written, My HOUSE shall be called the HOUSE OF PRAYER; but you have made it a den of thieves. (Matthew 21:13).
That us why Jesus Christ :
And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that MEN ought ALWAYS to PRAY, and not to FAINT. (Luke 18:1).
And He therefore taught us to PRAY thus:
After this manner therefore PRAY you: Our Father which art in Heaven, hallowed be your name. Your kingdom come. Your WILL be DONE in Earth, as it is in Heaven. (Matthew 6:9,10).
Do you get it?
Now, as a TEMPLE of GOD, the Bible reveals to us thus:
Know you not that you are the TEMPLE of GOD, and that the SPIRIT of GOD dwells in YOU? If any man DEFILE the TEMPLE of GOD, him shall God DESTROY; for the TEMPLE of GOD is HOLY, which temple ye are. (1 Corinthians 3:16,17).
As a Temple of God also, you are expected to live HOLY before God in Heaven because He dwells in you as the Holy Spirit of Christ in this World. He is Holy and that is why He is called HOLY SPIRIT in the first place. Take note, take heed!
Therefore, don't be deceived because consciously and consistently thinking, speaking and living a HOLY LIFE in Christ in this World is a MUST for you to be PRESENTABLE and PLEASING to GOD. True! (Romans 12:1; 2 Corinthians 6:14-18).
This is because thinking, speaking and living in HOLINESS in Christ in this World is maintaining Christ's RIGHTEOUSNESS upon you in Christ in this World and is it pleasing to God because He can continuously DWELL in you, WALK in you and WORK through you in Christ in this World. True! Take note, take heed!
Now, understanding that you are both the spiritual HOUSE of GOD and TEMPLE of GOD:
1. Will make you consciously and consistently THINK only THOUGHTS that are EDIFYING and PLEASING to GOD. That is, thoughts that are in line with His Word, Way and Will in Christ for you in this World. True!
That is why Apostle Paul counselled us thus:
Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are TRUE, whatsoever things are HONEST, whatsoever things are JUST, whatsoever things are PURE, whatsoever things are LOVELY, whatsoever things are of GOOD REPORT; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, Think on these things. Those things, which ye have both LEARNED, and RECEIVED, and HEARD, and SEEN in me, DO: and the GOD of PEACE shall be WITH you. (Philippians 4:8,9; Proverbs 23:7).
Take note, take heed because as the spiritual HOUSE of GOD and TEMPLE of GOD in Christ in this World by your THOUGHTS you can be seen by God par time as a EDIFIED or DEFILED Christian. True! Take note, take heed!
2. Will make you consciously and consistently SPEAK only WORDS that are EDIFYING and PLEASING to GOD. That is, words that are in line with His Word, Way and Will in Christ for you in this World. True!
That is why Jesus Christ says to us thus:
O generation of vipers, how can you, being evil, SPEAK good things? For out of the ABUNDANCE of the HEART the mouth SPEAKS. A GOOD MAN out of the good treasure of the heart brings forth GOOD THINGS: and an EVIL MAN out of the evil treasure brings forth EVIL THINGS. But I say unto you, that EVERY IDLE WORD that men shall SPEAK, they shall GIVE ACCOUNT thereof in the day of judgment. For by YOUR WORDS you shalt be JUSTIFIED, and by YOUR WORDS you shalt be CONDEMNED. (Matthew 12:34-37; Ephesians 4: 25-30; James 3).
Take note, take heed because as the spiritual HOUSE of GOD and TEMPLE of GOD in Christ in this World by your WORDS you can be seen by God par time as an EDIFIED or DEFILED Christian. True! Take note, take heed!
3. Will make you consciously and consistently ACT only WORDS that are EDIFYING and PLEASING to GOD. That is, make choices and take decisions that are in line with His Word, Way and Will in Christ for you in this World. True!
That is why the Bible counsels us thus:
Let us HEAR the CONCLUSIONof the whole matter: FEAR GOD, and KEEP His COMMANDMENTS: for this is the WHOLE DUTY of man. For GOD shall bring every WORK into JUDGMENT, with every secret thing, whether it be GOOD, or whether it be EVIL. (Ecclesiastes 12:13,14; Hebrews 5:12-14).
Take note, take heed because as the spiritual HOUSE of GOD and TEMPLE of GOD in Christ in this World by your ACTIONS you can be seen by God par time as an EDIFIED or DEFILED Christian. True! Take note, take heed!
Don't be deceived, the things of LUST and PRIDE of this World are unpleasant and unpleasing to God and defiles anyone in the sight of God that think, speak and do them. True! Take note, take heed! (1 John 2:15-17, Colossians 2:8-10).
The Bible reveals this truth to us thus:
LOVE not the WORLD, neither the THINGS that are IN the WORLD. If any man LOVE the WORLD, the LOVE of the FATHER is NOT in him. For ALL that is in the WORLD, the LUST of the FLESH, and the LUST of the EYES, and the PRIDE of LIFE, is not of the Father, but is of the World. And the World passes away, and the lust thereof: but he that DOES the WILL of GOD abides for ever. (1 John 2:15-17; James 4:1-5; James 1:12-15).
In conclusion, when you PRAY to GOD and PRAISE GOD as a HOLY spiritual HOUSE of GOD and HOLY TEMPLE of GOD, you generate unusual supernatural POWER of GOD in Christ to address your LIFE CHALLENGES in Christ in this World to the glory of God and shame of the Devil and your human enemies. True! Take note, take heed!
Before you go to God to pray for something, to praise Him or to give Him gift, make sure you have sincerely REPENTED from ALL your KNOWN SINS. If not, that is your FIRST prayer point and must be your STARTING point before any other thing else. This is because God cannot be deceived like men and the prayer, praise and gift of a sinner is an abomination before Him. True! Take note, take heed! (Psalm 51; 1 John 1:5-10 ).
