The truth to be told, you and I need divine FAVOUR (help) to breakthrough some challenges, obstacles, oppressions, etc that we will face in the course of our journey from Earth to Heaven in Christ in this World. Therefore, quote me anywhere at anytime, no human can make it through his or her LIFETIME on Earth without some levels of divine INTERVENTION (involvement) in his or her life and situations in this World. True! Take note, take heed!
That is why the Bible reveals to us thus:
I returned, and SAW under the sun, that the RACE is not to the SWIFT, nor the BATTLE to the STRONG, neither yet BREAD to the WISE, nor yet RICHES to men of UNDERSTANDING, nor yet FAVOUR to men of SKILL; but time and chance happens to them all. (Ecclesiastes: 9. 11).
The Bible makes it clear to us that TIME and CHANCE (season of opportunity) are in the hands of God. (Ecclesiastes 3:1-11; Ecclesiastes 7:14).
Therefore, the Bible reveals to us thus:
The LORD KILLS, and makes ALIVE: He brings DOWN to the grave, and brings UP. The LORD makes POOR, and makes RICH: he brings LOW, and lifts UP. He raises up the poor out of the dust, and lifts up the beggar from the dunghill, TO SET them among princes, and TO MAKE them inherit the throne of glory: for the pillars of the Earth are the LORD's, and He had set the World upon them. He will KEEP the feet of His saints, and the wicked shall be silent in darkness; FOR BY STRENGTH shall NO MAN PREVAIL. The adversaries of the LORD shall be broken to pieces; out of Heaven shall He thunder upon them: the LORD shall JUDGE the ends of the Earth; and He shall GIVE STRENGTH unto His king, and EXALT the horn of His ANOINTED. (1 Samuel 2:6-10; Deuteronomy 28; Isaiah 40:28-31; Isaiah 60; James 4:6-10; 1 Peter 5:6-10).
Also,
For He said to Moses, I WILL HAVE MERCY on whom I will have mercy, and I WILL HAVE COMPASSION on whom I will have compassion. So then it is NOT of him that WILL, nor of him that RUN, but of God that shows mercy. (Romans 9:15,16).
It is unfortunate that many genuine Christians still think, speak and act like the people of the World, who proudly and foolishly think, speak and live as if they can MAKE IT through the Earth WITHOUT God. So sad, so bad!
Now, concerning JESUS CHRIST the Bible reveals to us thus:
And Jesus increased in Wisdom and stature, and in FAVOUR with GOD and MAN. (Luke 2:52).
JESUS CHRIST Himself needed divine FAVOUR (help) to victoriously and successfully make it through Earth to Heaven as God the Father has ordained for Him and the Bible reveals in 1 John 4:17 that as He is, so are we in this World. Therefore, you and I need divine FAVOUR (help) to VICTORIOUSLY and SUCCESSFULLY make it through Earth to Heaven as God the Father has ordained for each of us in Christ in this World. True! Take note, take heed!
Now, divine FAVOUR (help) consists of both divine REST and divine BEST in Christ for you par time par your situation in this World. This means that God's FAVOUR (help) is either giving you God's REST in your storm or giving you God's BEST in your storm. True! Take note, take heed!
However, the connecting bridge between your human LABOUR (help) and divine FAVOUR (help) in Christ for you is the deliberate, purposeful and divers TRYING and TESTING of your FAITH in God by God, whether you will be OBEDIENT to His Word, Words and Will in Christ for you in this World par time par your situation. True! Take note, take heed!
Concerning JESUS CHRIST the Bible reveals to us thus:
Though He were a Son, yet LEARNED He OBEDIENCE by the things which He SUFFERED; And being made PERFECT, He became the Author of eternal salvation unto all them that OBEY Him; Called of God an high priest after the order of Melchisedec. (Hebrews 5:8-10).
That is why the Bible counsels us thus:
My brethren, COUNT it all JOY when you fall into DIVERS TEMPTATIONS; Knowing this, that the TRYING of your FAITH works patience. But let PATIENCE have her perfect work, that you may be PERFECT and entire, WANTING nothing. (James 1: 2-4; 12-15; 1 Peter 1:1-9; Hebrews 6:12).
Therefore, don't be deceived because the SECRET for going through this connecting bridge between your human LABOUR (help) end to divine FAVOUR end is the deliberate, purposeful and divers TRYING and TESTING of your FAITH in God by God, whether you will stay HUMBLE, PATIENT and OBEDIENT to His Word, Ways and Will in Christ for you par time par your situation in this World. True! Take note, take heed! (Deuteronomy 8).
The Bible reveals this to thus:
But He gives more grace. Wherefore He said, God RESISTS the PROUD, but GIVES grace unto the HUMBLE. SUBMIT yourselves therefore to God. RESIST the devil, and he will flee from you. DRAW near to God, and He will draw near to you. CLEANSE your hands, you sinners; and PURIFY your hearts, you double minded. Be afflicted, and mourn, and weep: let your laughter be turned to mourning, and your joy to heaviness. HUMBLE yourselves in the SIGHT of the Lord, and He shall LIFT you UP. (James 4:6-9)
Also,
Let us therefore fear, lest, a PROMISE being left us of ENTERING into His REST, any of you should seem to come short of it. For unto us was the gospel preached, as well as unto them: but the WORD preached did NOT PROFIT them, NOT being mixed with FAITH (obedient to the Word of God) in them that heard it. For we which have believed do ENTER into REST, as he said, As I have sworn in my wrath, if they shall ENTER into my REST: although the works were finished from the foundation of the world. (Hebrews 4:1-3).
For an example to us, GOD did not allow them (the Children of Israel) to enter into and enjoy His REST and BEST for them because they did not mixed the WORD of GOD in them they were told with FAITH. That is, they did not mix the WORD of GOD in them that they were told with OBEDIENCE to the WORD of GOD they heard. Do you get it? Take note, take heed!
That is why the Bible counsels us:
But be you DOER of the WORD, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves. 23. For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass: 24. For he beholdeth himself, and goeth his way, and straightway forgetteth what manner of man he was. 25. But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed. (James 1:22-25).
It is NOT enough to learn, hear, receive and see the Word of God, you have to also DO what it says. There and then will God certify you to be in LOVE with Him, HUMBLE and OBEDIENT to Him and be PLEASED with you and FAVOUR you based on His Word you made part of your LIFESTYLE to think, speak and do to His glory in this World. However, God confirms your willingness to OBEY His Word, LIVE OUT His Ways and DO His is WILL by deliberately and purposefully trying and testing your FAITH in Him in Christ in this World. True! Take note, take heed! (John 14:15; Romans 8:28; Hebrews 6:11; Philippians 4:8,9; 1 Peter 1:3-9; 2 Corinthians 12:5-10; Isaiah 1:19,20).
I tell you the truth and my prayer for you today is that God mercifully and graciously converts ALL your TESTS and TRIALS into TRIUMPHS and TESTIMONIES in your FAVOUR as you stand steadfastly in FAITH in Jesus name. (1 Peter 6-10).
