It is unfortunate to state that many genuine Christians are not aware that the GOD they serve is a PRINCIPLE driven GOD who does ALL things based on the spiritual and physical PRINCIPLES He has established. True! So sad, so bad!
Therefore, to walk or work with God successfully in Christ in this World, you must know and understand His PRINCIPLES and align with them par time par your situation to get divine RESULTS. True! Take note, take heed!
Now, one of the PRINCIPLES of God that Jesus Christ Himself revealed to us was:
Therefore ALL things whatsoever you would that MEN should do to YOU, do YOU even so to THEM: for this is the law and the prophets. (Matthew 8:12; 1 John 3:16).
Apostle Paul put it this way thus:
Be NOT deceived; GOD is not MOCKED: for whatsoever a man SOWS, that shall he also REAP. For he that sows to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that sows to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting. And let us NOT be weary in well DOING: for in DUE SEASON we shall REAP, if we faint not. As we have therefore OPPORTUNITY, let us do good unto ALL men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith. (Galatians 6 7-10).
This means that as you are TRUSTING on GOD to use people to HELP YOU, HE (God) is TRUSTING on YOU to use you to HELP PEOPLE as well. True! Take note, take heed!
Jesus Christ called HELPING POOR PEOPLE laying up TREASURES in Heaven thus:
Jesus said unto him, If you will be perfect, GO and SELL that you have, and GIVE to the POOR, and you shall have TREASURE in HEAVEN: and come and follow me. (Matthew 19:21).
Therefore, He (Jesus Christ) told us to:
LAY NOT up for yourselves TREASURES upon EARTH, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal: But LAY up for yourselves TREASURES in HEAVEN, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal: For where your TREASURE is, there will your HEART be also. (Matthew 6:19-21).
Unfortunately, many genuine Christians' TREASURES are on the EARTH they have laid them. True! Therefore, their HEARTS are not in HEAVEN, but on the EARTH where their TREASURES are and where moth and rust will corrupt them and thieves will steal. True! So sad, so bad!
Furthermore, Jesus Christ showed how we should LAY UP our TREASURES in Heaven and what will be of US at the END thus:
When the Son of man shall COME in His GLORY, and all the holy angels with Him, then shall He SIT upon the THRONE of His GLORY: And before Him shall be gathered ALL nations: and He shall SEPARATE them one from another, as a SHEPHERD divides his SHEEP from the GOATS: And He shall set the sheep on His right hand, but the goats on the left. Then shall the KING say unto them on His right hand, COME, you BLESSED of my Father, INHERIT the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the World: For I was HUNGRY, and you gave me meat: I was THIRSTY, and you gave me drink: I was a STRANGER, and you took me in: NAKED, and you clothed me: I was SICK, and you visited me: I was in PRISON, and you came unto me. Then shall the RIGHTEOUS answer Him, saying, Lord, WHEN saw we you an hungry, and fed you? Or thirsty, and gave you drink? When saw we you a stranger, and took you in? Or naked, and clothed you? Or when saw we you sick, or in prison, and came unto you? And the KING shall answer and say unto them, verily I say unto you, In as much as you have DONE IT unto one of the least of these my brethren, you have done it unto me. Then shall He say also unto them on the left hand, DEPART from me, you CURSED, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels: For I was HUNGRY, and you gave me no meat: I was THIRSTY, and you gave me no drink: I was a STRANGER, and you took me not in: NAKED, and you clothed me not: SICK, and in prison, and you visited me not. Then shall they also answer Him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungry, or athirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did NOT minister unto you?Then shall He answer them, saying, verily I say unto you, In as much as you did it NOT to one of the least of these, you did it NOT to me. And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal. (Matthew 25:31-46).
JESUS CHRIST timely revealed to us that He is going to show up unnoticed and uninvited in our midst, neighborhoods, Churches, communities, nations etc as people who are HUNGRY, THIRSTY, NAKED, HOMELESS, SICK, IMPRISONED, etc and we in Him (Christ's followers or Christians) in this World has the sacred responsibility to take care of Him, not unbelievers. True! Take note, take heed!
LEARN to be LED by the Holy Spirit of Christ that is within you in this World to WATCH OUT for the poor and needy around par time, so that you can sacrificially and selflessly HELP THEM without expecting anything back from them and surely, in return you will be sacrificially and selflessly HELPED as well by PEOPLE who God will prompt by His mercy and grace to HELP you in your own need in due time. It is a spiritual and prophetic law according to God's design of this human World for you to be HELPED back after you have HELPED someone in need. I have encounteres and experienced these truth countless of times. True! Take note, take heed!
Therefore,
1. Don't be so LOST within your own challenges that you do NOT see other people's challenges that God brings your way and wants you to SOW SEEDS (help address for them), so that He can use other people to give you HARVEST (that will address your own challenges) in due time. Don't! (Galatians 6:7-10).
2. Don't love your own TREASURES so much that you do not want to let go to help people even when God is clearly directing you to do so. If you do not let go, you will lose what is more than your treasures that God has ordained for you in due time. True! Take note, take heed! (Luke 18:18-30).
Always remember that if you PITY and GIVE to the POOR, you have LEND to GOD and He said He will PAY you back.
For He said thus:
He that has PITY upon the POOR lends unto the LORD; and that which he had given will he PAY him AGAIN. (Proverbs 19:17).
Do you know what?
Because He is the Creator and Owner of the Heaven and the Earth and ALL that are within them, including ALL humans, He said thus:
GIVE, and it shall be GIVEN unto you; GOOD measure, PRESSED down, and SHAKEN together, and RUNNING over, shall MEN give into your bosom. For with the SAME measure that you mete withal it shall be measured to you again. (Luke 6:38; Psalm 24).
Now,
1. We must ALL keep in mind at ALL times knowing that ALL our possessions is the Lord's who has graciously kept them in our care as His STEWARD in Christ in this World. That is why we must ALL LEARN to be LED by the Holy Spirit of Christ that is within each of us in Christ in this World, to know How to use them to meet our needs and the needs of other people par time. True! Take note, take heed! (1 Corinthians 4).
2. We must ALL keep in mind at ALL times knowing that we are not to LOOK anyone on his or her own things, but in other people's things including ours. True! Take note, take heed! (Philippians 2:1-4).
3. We must ALL keep in mind at ALL times knowing that it takes real strong FAITH in GOD to be a GIVER or to GIVE when our own needs are staring us in the face and God is leading us to GIVE to MEET the NEEDS of others. True! Take note, take heed! (James 2:14-27; Hebrews 11:1-6; 1 John 3:16; Hebrews 4:16).
4. We must ALL keep in mind at ALL times knowing that it is more BLESSED to GIVE than to RECEIVE as revealed in the Bible as Words of Jesus Christ to us thus:
I have showed you all things, HOW that so LABOURING you OUGHT to SUPPORT the WEAK, and to remember the Words of the Lord Jesus, how he said, It is more BLESSED to GIVE than to RECEIVE. (Acts: 20. 35).
Will you not rather love to be at the more BLESSED side of God in Christ in this World as a GIVER than on the less BLESSED side of God in Christ in this World as a RECEIVER? Think about it!
