I have come to terms that this is a generation that called themselves Christians and fearlessly romance with SIN as if Sin has no physical and spiritual consequences.
SIN is anything that is inconsistent with the WORD of God in Christ in your life in this World. True!
SIN is anything that is inconsistent with the WAYS of God in Christ in your life in this World. True!
SIN is anything that is inconsistent with the WILL of God in Christ in your life in this World. True!
SIN is anything that is inconsistent with the WORTH of God in Christ in your life in this World. True!
SIN is anything that is inconsistent with the WORK of God in Christ in your life in this World. True!
I can boldly inform you that:
SIN still STAINS
SIN still STINKS.
SIN still SINKS.
The Bible reveals thus:
Behold, the LORD's hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; neither his ear heavy, that it cannot hear: But your INIQUITIES have SEPARATED between you and your God, and your SINS have hid his face from you, that he will not hear. For your hands are defiled with blood, and your fingers with iniquity; your lips have spoken lies, your tongue hath muttered perverseness. None calleth for justice, nor any pleadeth for truth: they trust in vanity, and speak lies; they conceive mischief, and bring forth iniquity. (Isaiah 59:1-4).
SIN still SEPARATES from God.
Many that call themselves Christians will say we are living in the dispensation of GRACE, therefore, we can live anyway or anyhow we like, but Apostle Paul counselled thus:
Likewise reckon you also yourselves TO be dead indeed unto SIN, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord. Let NOT sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that you should obey it in the lusts thereof. Neither yield you your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God. For SIN shall not have dominion over you: for you are not under the law, but under GRACE. What then? shall WE sin, because we are not under the law, but under GRACE? God forbid. Know you not, that to whom you yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants you are to whom you obey; whether of SIN unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness? But God be thanked, that you were the servants of sin, but you have obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine which was delivered you. Being then made free from sin, you became the servants of righteousness. (Romans 6:11-18).
A True Christian knows that living under the GRACE of God in Christ in this World does not automatically permit him or her to live anyhow or to live in SIN in this World. (1 John 2:15-17).
A True Christian knows that Satan the evil one has the divine permission to touch him or her, if he or she consciously and consistently play with SIN without repentance. True!
That is why Apostle John informed and counselled thus:
We know that whosoever is born of God SINS not; but he that is begotten of God KEEPS himself, and that wicked one TOUCHES him not. And we know that we are of God, and the whole world LIES in wickedness. And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life. Little children, KEEP yourselves from idols. Amen. (1 John 5:18-21).
A true Christian knows that Satan is on a revenge mission against him or her because he or she is carrying the Spirit of Christ within him or her in this World. True!
The Bible reveals thus:
Be sober, be vigilant; because your ADVERSARY the DEVIL, as a roaring lion, WALKS about, seeking whom he may devour: Whom resist steadfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world. But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, establish, strengthen, settle you. (1 Peter 5:8-10).
A true Christian knows Satan is walking about in this World through some people to devour him or her in Christ in this World. True!
Satan's one and only aim is to entice you to SIN against God, so that he can have access to your life and either steal, kill or destroy your treasures in Christ to his own advantage and to your own disadvantage and to get you to hell with him at last.
Therefore, Jesus Christ reveals and counselled thus:
The thief cometh not, but for to STEAL, and to KILL, and to DESTROY, I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves: be ye therefore WISE as SERPENTS (devil and demons), and harmless as doves. But BEWARE of men: for they will deliver you up to the councils, and they will scourge you in their synagogues; And you shall be brought before governors and kings for my sake, for a testimony against them and the Gentiles. But when they DELIVER you up, take no thought how or what you shall speak: for it shall be given you in that same hour what you shall speak. For it is not yoh that speak, but the SPIRIT of your Father which speaketh in you. And the brother shall deliver up the brother to death, and the father the child: and the children shall rise up against their parents, and cause them to be put to death. And you shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: but he that ENDURES to the END shall be SAVED. But when they persecute you in this city, flee ye into another: for verily I say unto you, You shall not have gone over the cities of Israel, till the Son of man be come. The disciple is not above his master, nor the servant above his lord. (John 10:10; Matthew 10:16-24; James 1:12-15).
Therefore, the Bible counsels thus:
Be you NOT unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for WHAT fellowship has righteousness with unrighteousness? and WHAT communion has light with darkness? And WHAT concord has Christ with Belial? or WHAT part has he that believes with an infidel? And WHAT agreement has the temple of God with idols? for YOU are the temple of the living God; as God has said, I will DWELL in them, and WALK in them; and I will BE their God, and they shall BE my people. Wherefore COME OUT from among them, and be you SEPARATE, says the Lord, and touch NOT the unclean thing; and I will receive you, And will BE a Father unto you, and you shall BE my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty. (2 Corinthians 6:14-18).
Do you get it?
A true Christian knows that the Spirit of Christ within him or her is to empower him or her to overcome SATAN and SIN and live victoriously and successfully in Christ in this World. True!
The Bible reveals thus:
But you are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his. And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness. But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you. Therefore, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh. For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live. For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God. (Romans 8:9-14).
Do you get it?
Don't be deceived my good friend, SIN still SEPARATES us from God as it is in the days of old. Take note, take heed!
When Apostle Paul said who can SEPARATE us from the LOVE of CHRIST, he never had SIN in mind as one option that will not separate us.
He said thus:
Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? (Romans 8:35).
Again, SIN still SEPARATES us from God as in the time of old. Take note, take heed!
I believe that, if many who call themselves Christians will just think, speak ad live right daily according to the Word of God and leading of the Spirit of God that is within them, many of their challenges will be over. But many thinks prayer answer to all things, even when they are thinking, speaking and living in known SIN in this World. Never! That is not true!
Living in holiness (that is, maintaining the righteousness of Christ upon you) serving God in World matters to God and it should matter to you as well.
That is why Apostle Peter counselled thus:
As obedient children, NOT fashioning yourselves according to the former lusts in your ignorance: But as he who has called you is HOLY, so be you HOLY in all manner of conversation; Because it is written, Be you HOLY; for I am HOLY. And if you call on the Father, who without respect of persons judges according to every man's work, pass the time of your sojourning here in fear: (1 Peter 1:14-17).
Do you get it?
Think about it and make that necessary changes now!
May God grant you the willingness and grace to do so in Jesus name!
There is no cheating in the Kingdom of God. Therefore, there is always PROFITS from God for consciously and sacrificially living right for Him (God) in Christ in this World. True! (Psalm 19:7-14; Psalm 1:1-3; Philippians 4:8,9).
The spiritual principle is still:
Righteousness EXALTS a nation: but SIN is a reproach to any people. (Proverbs 14:34).
