How easy today, many that call themselves Christians:
LOOK unto other people and not the person of Jesus Christ for HOPE and HELP to overcome their challenges in this World. So sad!
LOOK unto other places and not the cross of Jesus Christ for HOPE and HELP to overcome their challenges in this World. So sad!
LOOK unto other possessions and not the promises of God in Jesus Christ for HOPE and HELP to overcome their challenges in this World. So sad!
LOOK unto other positions and not the throne of God with Jesus Christ at His right hand for HOPE and HELP to overcome their challenges in this World. So sad!
LOOK unto other powers and not the power of God in Jesus Christ's name for HELP and HOPE to overcome their challenges in this World? So sad!
Many who call themselves Christians in their time of challenges usually forget that the Bible reveals that:
Neither is there SALVATION in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. (Acts 4:10-12).
They do forget in their time of challenges that the Bible reveals that:
Wherefore God also hath highly EXALTED Him, and given Him a NAME which is ABOVE every name: That at the name of JESUS every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. (Philippians 2:9-11).
So sad!
Truly, every person has a name. Every place has a name. Every possession (thing) has a name. Every position has a name. Every power has a name. But the name of JESUS CHRIST is above all. The name of Jesus Christ is powerful and profitable than them all. Yes, it is by God's exaltation and enthronement of His name above all other names, either names n Heaven, on Earth or beneath the Earth. Halleluyah!
This means that if you do not get your HOPE and HELP from JESUS CHRIST, you cannot truly and safely get it from any other person, place, possession, position or power. True!
JESUS CHRIST is the one and only person and name, God has given in this dispensation of grace for humans to find HOPE and HELP to overcome any of their challenges in this World. True!
Therefore, Apostle Paul reveals thus:
To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is CHRIST in YOU, the HOPE of GLORY (on earth now and in heaven someday): (Colossians 1:27).
Do you get it?
Now, if you recall, the plague that befell the Children of Israel was addressed by God instructing Moses to lift up a serpent and all that will believe and steadfastly LOOK unto it, will be deliver and save from the plague.
However, the Bible reveals further thus:
And as Moses LIFTED up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the SON of MAN (Jesus Christ) be LIFTED up: That whosoever believes in Him should not perish, but have eternal life. For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not His Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through Him might be saved. He that believes on Him is not condemned: but he that believes not is condemned already, because he has not believed in the NAME of the only begotten Son of God. And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. For every one that does evil hates the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. But he that does truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God. (John 3:14-21).
The good news is that God in His infinite mercy and grace has LIFTED up JESUS CHRIST from the dead and set Him at His right hand in glory and Majesty for humanity salvation (justification) and glorification. However, only those who will believe and steadfastly LOOK on Him (JESUS CHRIST) will be delivered and saved from the onslaught of the Devil against humanity in this World. True!
Therefore, I am sent this day to timely remind and inform you to steadfastly LOOK unto Jesus Christ, the Author and Finisher of our faith, even in the midst of your fierce challenges in this World. This is not optional to a true Christian, but is the one and only available and reliable option to his or her HOPE and HELP in Christ in this World. True!
This is why Apostle Paul counselled thus;

Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us RUN with patience the RACE that is SET before us, LOOKING unto JESUS the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God. For consider him that endured such contradiction of sinners against himself, lest ye be wearied and faint in your minds. (Hebrews 12:1-3).
Therefore,
A true Christian is the one who knows that in his or her CHALLENGES, there is always HOPE in Christ and divine HELP for him or her at the end of the the day, as long as he or she steadfastly LOOK on unto Jesus Christ in this World. True!
A true Christian is the one who knows that in his or her CIRCUMSTANCES, there is always HOPE in Christ and divine HELP for him or her at the end of the the day, as long as he or she steadfastly LOOK on unto Jesus Christ in this World. True!
A true Christian is the one who knows that in his or her CONFUSIONS, there is always HOPE in Christ and divine HELP for him or her at the end of the the day, as long as he or she steadfastly LOOK on unto Jesus Christ in this World. True!
However, Jesus Christ counselled thus:
The light of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be SINGLE (focus, fix,), your whole body shall be FULL of LIGHT. But if thine eye be evil, your whole body shall be FULL of DARKNESS. If therefore the light that is in you be darkness, how great is that darkness! No man can serve TWO masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. You CANNOT serve God and mammon. Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment? (Matthew 6:22-25).
Do you get it? Take note, take heed!
Now what has not gone well for you in 2016 that is bothering you?
Are you a true Christian?
Then why worry, when you can steadfastly LOOK unto Jesus Christ in faith for HOPE and divine HELP in this World?
Why worry, when you can CAST all CARES (worries, fears, doubts, disappointments, etc) of 2016 upon the Lord, for He truly cares for you?
Do you not believe any longer that with God ALL things are possible? (Matthew 19:26).
Have you forgotten so soon that ALL things are possible to them that believe? (Mark 9:23).
Do you not know that without faith it is impossible to please God and that God rewards only faith and not fear, worry, doubt and their likes? (Hebrews 11:6).
Come on, pick up yourself once again and believe in the God of heaven that turns seemly impossible situations to possible ones for humans, who sum up courage to call on him desperately in faith. (James 5:17,18).
The Bible reveals thus:
Behold, I am the LORD, the God of all flesh: is there any thing TOO hard for Me? (Jeremiah 32:27).
All you need to do now friend, is to have faith once again in His Word (in Him) and boldly and consistently call on Him in faith in the name of Jesus Christ and steadfastly LOOK on to Him and you will see him do it for you in due time to His glory and shame of the devil, your arch enemy. Yes, it will be done for you and you will glorify the Father once more in the land of the living. True!
Jesus Christ said you need not faint because of your challenges, but to pray consistently to the righteous Judge (God) of the universe to intervene, to avenge your adversaries and compensate you. (John 18:1-8; proverbs 24:10).
The Psalmist put it this way:
O thou that hears prayer, unto thee shall all flesh come. (Psalm 65:2).
I will LIFT up mine EYES unto the hills, from whence cometh my HELP. My help comes from the LORD, which made heaven and earth. (Psalm 121:1,2).
Where are you lifting up your eyes and hearts to for HOPE and HELP in this World?
Who are you lifting up your eyes and hearts to for HOPE and HELP in this World?
What are you lifting up your eyes and hearts to for HOPE and HELP in this World?
Think about it and once again, COME boldly unto the throne of grace, that YOU may obtain MERCY, and find GRACE to HELP in time of need. (Hebrews 4:16).
Come! Come!! Come!!!
Because, FAITHFUL is He that calls YOU, who also will do it. (1 Thessalonians 5:24).
