Many Christians do not think, speak and live as if they know that JESUS CHRIST is GOD manifested and living within them.
The Bible reveals God coming to us in the person of Jesus Christ thus:
And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: GOD was manifest in the FLESH, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory. (1 Timothy 3:16).
Prophet Isaiah in preannouncing the BIRTH of JESUS CHRIST said thus:
For unto US a CHILD is BORN, unto US a SON is GIVEN: and the government shall be upon His shoulder: and His name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The MIGHTY GOD, The EVERLASTING FATHER, The Prince of Peace. (Isaiah 9:6).
Why did God orchestrate the BIRTH of JESUS CHRIST for us?
The Bible reveals thus:
Now the BIRTH of JESUS CHRIST was on this wise: When His mother Mary was espoused to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with CHILD of the HOLY GHOST. Then Joseph her husband, being a just man, and not willing to make her a public example, was minded to put her away privately. But while he thought on these things, behold, the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife: for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost. And she shall bring forth a SON, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for He shall SAVE His people from their SINS. Now all this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying, Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a SON, and they shall call his name EMMANUEL, which being interpreted is, GOD with US. (Matthew 1:18-23).
The BIRTH of JESUS CHRIST is to primarily bring GOD back to us to save us from our SINS.
The Bible reveals that:
His name shall be called EMMANUEL, which means, GOD with US.
His name shall be called JESUS, He shall save us His people from our SINS.
This means that if you know and say GOD is truly with you:
You will not consciously SIN against Him. True!
You will not consistently SIN against Him. True!
The Bible reveals thus:
Whosoever commits SIN transgresses also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law. And you know that HE was manifested to TAKE away our SINS; and in Him is no sin. Whosoever ABIDES in HIM sins NOT: whosoever SINS has NOT seen Him, neither known Him. Little children, let no man deceive you: he that does righteousness is righteous, even as He is righteous. He that commits SIN is of the DEVIL; for the devil sins from the beginning. For this PURPOSE the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil. Whosoever is BORN of GOD does NOT commit SIN; for His seed remains in him: and he CANNOT sin, because he is BORN of GOD. In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever does not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loves not his brother. (1 John 3:4-10).
Do you get it?
Your spirit, which is now one with His Spirit spiritually cannot THINK of SIN. True!
Your spirit, which is now one with His Spirit spiritually cannot SPEAK of SIN. True!
Your spirit, which is now one with His Spirit spiritually cannot COMMIT SIN. True! (1 Corinthians 6:13-20).
However, if your salvation (born again) is genuine and you mistakenly SINNED against God by the weakness of your flesh, you will be instantly remorseful, quickly repent and confess your SIN before Him for mercy, forgiveness and cleansing. True!
The Bible reveals thus:
This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that GOD is LIGHT, and in Him is NO darkness at all. If we SAY that we have fellowship with Him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth: But if we walk in the light, as He is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanses us from all sin. 8. If we SAY that we have NO sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we CONFESS our sins, He is faithful and just to FORGIVE us our sins, and to CLEANSE us from all unrighteousness. If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us. (1 John 1:5-10).
Do you get it?
We sin against God:
When we are not CONSCIOUS of the fact that God is with us and in us. True!
When we have not personally SEEN Him (God) in Christ in this World. True!
When we do not personally KNOW Him (God) in Christ in this World. True!
Are you consciously aware that God in Christ is with you?
Have you personally seen God in Christ?
Have you personally known God in Christ?
If you truly do, you will not consciously or consistently live in SIN, so that SIN do not SEPARATE you from Him and GOOD SUCCESS in Him. True! (2 Corinthians 6:14-18; 1 John 3; Joshua 1:8).
Jesus Christ said thus:
And YOU shall KNOW the truth, and the truth shall MAKE you FREE. (John 8:32).
Can you truly say you are FREE from SIN?
Think about it!
CHRISTMAS (Christ's birth celebration) season is the best time to do just that. True!
